S S I recently had German Auto Service perform a pre-purchase inspection on a Porsche 928 gts, and I couldn’t be more impressed with their work. They were incredibly thorough and clearly know these cars inside and out. Their specialized knowledge of Porsche vehicles really stood out—they identified several critical issues that weren’t disclosed by the seller and ultimately saved me from making an expensive mistake. Gerardo Avila Will gladly take your car but will not work on it. Brought my e92 here in 7th of February of 2024 for break work, oil change, and some sensors. It is now June the 28th and never received a call to be updated for work being completed. Called various times: first was told car would be completed in 5 days were waiting for parts. Called one week later reception told me they taking care of a few vehicles before mine (no big issue). Weeks pass by and I call them for an update and was told their facility was broken into 2 weeks prior a few stolen cars and my keys were also stolen. Was never given a call to inform me about the break-in (to their defense they got me a replacement key) told them to cease work on the vehicle so I could pick it up. They decided to complete smaller jobs in order to bill me because I get a call the next day saying it would be ready in two days and they found a few issues. Three weeks later I get calls that the work is finally complete (no oil change) I make my way to their facility and have to wait 30+minutes because no one is in reception. My vehicle was left out so long that a minor scratch is now a large portion of chipped paint. I believe in professional courtesy so Ill conclude this with this is only my experience at this repair facility.

I really appreciate Rob’s honest attitude and very knowledgeable work. I had tried another local shop before finding German Auto Service. The other place put in inferior parts which caused me to replace them 50K miles after. If you have a BMW, take it here!

Sam Koo Highly recommend Autobahn Service Center for any type of service for your German vehicle. They are honest, trustworthy, keep their word, fairly priced and extremely knowledgeable. We brought our Mercedes Benz all the way from Statesboro to here to get reliable service and so glad we did. They kept the appointment time and had a lift reserved for us so that they were able to take us right away. Which is much appreciated coming from an hour away. They ordered the blades right away and were able to install them for me on the very next day during my lunch break, and for a price about half of what I was expecting. Perfect!!!

The turnaround from having my vehicle towed to this place to getting my vehicle back was 1 day! Luckily it was an easy fix and the price wasnt too bad. Mr. Ken was so professional and let me know exactly what was going on with my vehicle. To tell you the truth, it seems my vehicle runs much better since it was repaired by this business. Thomas I recently got a used civic as my daily and wanted to get a regular mechanic to maintain it regularly and with care. Zach is the most straightforward and honest mechanic I’ve met. He’s super easy to talk to and get to know. His work is done on time and he communicates everything he does. He also tries to save your wallet when possible and gives you a priority list to follow in terms of what needs work first. He also does great discounts for students, military, etc! Just got my struts replaced at a reasonable price and I feel much safer on the road now with my new to me daily. He’s an experienced, retired military jet engine technician so he knows his stuff and won’t upsell you on things that don’t exist/you don’t need! Support small businesses and give Zach a call! I’m very lucky to have found this shop!

Ryan McLean I stopped here on a road trip across the country and Troy took amazing care of me. He is such a nice and honest dude! My truck had a bad hose and he found it right away, put me at the front of the line and got me back on the road within 2 hours. Incredible service!!

HUN NAM Avoid this place at all costs! I brought my car in with no issues, no check engine light. However, their report falsely claimed there was a check engine light on. They charged me $800 for a throttle body cleaning and MAP sensor replacement, insisting it was the problem. Later, I went to another shop only to find out the actual issue was just the spark plugs! They replaced unnecessary parts and overcharged me—at least twice as much as other places would have. This shop is dishonest and overpriced. I strongly advise against going here.

Georgia On my mind Update on my experience with Savannah Auto Air. I called weeks later after receiving service from Savannah Auto Air to let them know that the blower I had paid them to fix was not fix on my way to Texas. The wanted me to drive all the way back to Georgia to replace the blower. That was not going to happen. After returning from Iraq from Iraq, I am just getting my blower fixed for the second time. Total cost to get another blower is 1700 dollars. I also contacted Savannah Auto Air to give the contact to the service company I had to pay to redo a job they claim they did the first time but, Savannah Auto Air never called to confirm with the Mechanic that I was not making this story up. Took my 2013 BMW here to have the AC fix for about 600 dollars plus. My AC didn’t last 3 months. I have the same issue I had before. The only reason I haven’t taking my car back because I moved to Texas. Please do not take your luxury car here.

Mike Robinson 0 stars isnt an option. Id love a response from this business here, because they refuse to respond to messages left and Ive been hung up on the phone 4x when simply asking if we could talk through the issues Ive expressed. I cant believe this company has this high of a rating. They couldnt even honor an appointment made a week in advance or call to say they couldnt take me as scheduled. Instead I drove 45 minutes to be told the owners significant other is the scheduler and "really doesnt know what she is doing". The owner was rude, dismissive and couldnt even find an alternative day/time to fit me in, because he "Im a mechanic and dont get involved in scheduling". At the very least w phone call the night before would have been appreciated, instead I drove 45 minutes to watch an unorganized business owner fail at customer service. No alternative option offered, no apology, and the only thing he said was "I probably shouldnt have let her schedule appointments". This is my first negative review ever. I hate doing it, but I promise it was the worst service Ive seen by far from a car repair business. DONT use them, and Im happy to provide more information if you think Im being unfair. Terribly unorganized and incompetent. All 5 star reviews are paid for or submitted by family.

Medearis Robertson I had just moved to Savannah when my BMW (2014) engine light came on and said not to operate the car. I didnt have a mechanic shop and didnt know where to have it towed. Another BMW owner stopped and told me to take it to Crumlys. When the tow truck came and I said take it to Crumlys, the driver said good choice. Andrew was kind and explained in detail what the problem was and made the repair. Theyre knowledgeable, and professional. So very glad I have a shop I trust to take care of my car. They are wonderful.

Steve Stanley Beware: this is new ownership and not the Crumley Auto long term customers think theyre going to. Ive been a customer there for years and they had some amazing guys that really knew Vintage VWs. I havent been in a couple years because Ive been doing the work myself, but have been busy lately so thought Id take it in for routine service, and I always liked how good they were on the timing. Sadly all the guys from the back are now gone and a new owner recently took over. They actually have moved next door as well so it was all a little disorienting. I should have been suspicious when they couldnt answer some of my questions about what I wanted them to check. In the end, I asked them to do an oil change, adjust my timing, and adjust the brakes (I have a 65 so theyre not self adjusting). They called me half way through to ask me what I meant on the brakes and I explained how older models are adjusted. And then when I came to pick up the car they charged me $370. For an oil change, timing adjustment, and brake adjustment. Easily double what they would have charged before. If Im trying to be kind, maybe the new mechanics arent as familiar with vintage cars so it took them over two hours to do this 45 minutes worth of work. But regardless, its a ripoff, especially if you know how they used to operate.

The Wonder Walzers Andrew is the best! Great crew and great work! They helped us when our battery died and Andrew should have wore a cape. Way to go superman!
