1 /5 Katie: Do NOT I repeat do NOT go to this supposed beauty bar. The previous reviews are for another nail salon that used to be at this location, do not be confused. This establishment should be shut down.
A group of friends and I made an appointment to get manicures and pedicures and upon arrival the so called "nail tech" was about an hour late and the only one able to work on our manicures. When the employee started my manicure, she did no prep work at all and just slapped the nail tips on with no buffing. Each nail she glued down was the wrong size and the placing was awful; my thumb nail was glued halfway up my actual nail. Now if anyone knows anything about nails, you know you have to buff/file the surface of the nail so the glue has something to adhere to. She did none of that, was distracted while doing my nails and within 8 hours of having my nails on, every single one popped off. The clippers and all the tools she used definitely did not appear to have ever been cleaned so I was very uncomfortable.
My friends who received pedicures did not get any normal pedicure procedures done (trimming, clipping, buffing) and multiple times the employee working on them said "oh this is my first time doing a pedicure" - which leads me to believe no one in this establishment was actually licensed to be performing these services. It is required BY LAW in the state of Georgia that you must be licensed to practice as a nail technician. There is clearly some shady stuff going on here. There are plenty of wonderful nail salons in Savannah, go there - AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!
