Rufus Johnson I brought my 7yr old here for a dental surgery and the staff went above and beyond to make both of us comfortable and welcome. The process was very straightforward and professional and the dentist was even kind enough to perform a procedure that was not covered by his insurance for no additional cost. I’m not saying come here with the expectation of free services, I’m just sharing my personal experience. I would recommend this practice to everyone in the community.

Jessica Moseley We’ve had two wonderful experiences with Dr. Hansford and his team. Both my children previously had rough experiences at a different dentist office in the area. I didn’t provide details of that previous experience to Dr Hansford‘s team, but they seem to pick up on the fact that my kids were pretty nervous and were gracious to work with them to make them feel comfortable. The Hansford team was incredibly patient and kind with them. My son really struggles with interactions even as simple as a haircut. A dentist or doctor’s office can be really tough place for him. The hygienist picked up on this immediately and was so patient to take the time to explain all the things she was doing. She gained his trust and I was so impressed and thankful. My daughter ended up needing dental work and had to go through anesthesia to do so. Dr. Hansford was so thorough explaining everything that was going on and really brought us in on the decision-making process. My children have had surgeries in the past and I’ve never had a doctor or dentist go through the details the way his team did. It made us feel like we were in the know during the process and could make informed decisions. Highly recommend Dr. Hansford.

Shanekas Peek My son has autism so in most dental environments, he is usually ready to leave or scared but he was actually very comfortable! The staff was amazing also! I don’t usually leave feedback but I loved this Dentistry experience & I highly recommend them to anyone needing care!

She provided excellent care from the moment I called to schedule my appointment until I checked out after my cleaning. The dental assistant guided me through each step of the process before Dr. Wooten arrived for my pre-exam and cleaning. Remarkably, Dr. Wooten personally performed the cleaning because they were short-staffed due to a hygienists illness. Overall, this dental office exceeded my expectations. I enjoyed great conversations and received a thorough cleaning. I wholeheartedly recommend this office to anyone seeking high-quality dental care, especially those who are new to the area.

Maggie Brown We’ve been very happy with Dr. Newell and his team. The staff are always friendly and responsive. Appointments are quick and efficient and we’ve never had to wait more than 20 mins to be called back after checking in. Dr. Newell has taken a patient approach with my daughter, whom we’ve known for quite some time was going to need braces. He has been judicious with his treatment plan, allowing her mouth and teeth time to mature and come in before recommending interventions. I believe this has saved us money and saved my daughter from protracted time in braces.

Ashley was extremely gentle and thorough and explained every step to me before and while she was working through my cleaning. Dr. Ali was also very gentle and explained everything very well to me. He reassured me that my comfort was the most important during my visit. This was my first visit to a dental office in almost 5 years and I am so thankful I decided to go and give them a chance. Not only was it informational and beneficial, it was extremely enjoyable getting to spend time with everyone and test out the Simodont. Getting exposure to the different avenues of dentistry, major companies in the industry and getting hands-on experience with the simodont was awesome. I wish we had more discussion on what life is like while in dental school rather than what life is like after. The financial advice was really good but the actual use of loan money while in school was never discussed. I would totally do the bootcamp again and am thankful for the opportunity.

katherine spier Dr. Smith and Allison were absolutely amazing with my cosmetic procedure I recently had completed. I had an unexpected emergency/reaction and they both stayed calm and rectified the situation very quickly and with a great deal of attention. Throughout the procedure they both kept the atmosphere pleasant and calm and removed any tense or possible anxiety situations and I couldn’t have been happier with the process itself. During consultation, Dr. Smith expressed confidence and understanding as well as knowledge of the procedure and options and gave her suggestions based on what I was hoping to achieve. This helped solidify my decision to proceed and my results are absolutely amazing! She knew my budget and kept right on target. She was very meticulous and made sure that I was happy with the results. Very very pleased.

Angie Jones I had a root canal done by Dr. Bishop and even though I was terrified he made me feel as comfortable as possible for someone like me. Everything was well explained and I was kept informed during the whole process as to what was going on. You can tell he is very proficient at what he is doing. The staff is very friendly as well. I pray to never need another root canal but if I did I would go back to Dr. Bishop.

Daniella Shelton Dr Bishop and the staff were great! All are very kind. I saw him for my root canal. You can tell he’s been doing this for a while. Dr Bishop walked me through everything and always told me what was going on. It really didn’t take all that long and it was painless. I was very nervous but I’m glad Dr Bishop did my root canal.

Maxwell Sherri (Sharon Maxwell) My husband, who maybe at the age of 58, has seen a dentist 5 times in his life, went to see Dr. Chung to have all his teeth pulled and get dentures. Dr. Chung and his staff made him feel so comfortable he actually decided to forego the total extraction. Dr. Chung saved almost all of his bottom teeth, made temporary replacement top front teeth in his office, and now my husband will just need a partial. He is amazing and very knowledgeable on the latest techniques.

bell baby The staff are the sweetest people i have ever met. Everyone is so caring and they know how to get you done quickly. I went for my impacted wisdom tooth removal and was in horrible pain. They were constantly checking on me to make sure i was okay and the on call nurse was messaging me with very helpful information. I unfortunately got dry socket and was even more uncomfortable, They got me in so quickly after i told them i was in pain, about 3 hours after quick, and Dr. Manus as well as the assistants took amazing care of me. One rubbed my face when i was being put under because i have a fear of that. Just a 1000/10 experience. Would recommend this amazing place to anyone needing fast help for a more affordable price. Not an easy surgery at all, but they sure make it a breeze. :)

Stephanie I was a work in patient at 3:30pm for 2 bad teeth that needed surgical extraction. I was told prior that I may have to wait since I was a work in. I waited 10 minutes after my paperwork and was taken back. His nurse was very congenial and put me at such ease. Dr. McDonald came in and offered me a few options, 1 of which was immediate extraction with laughing gas. Since transportation was an issue I chose the immediate. From the time I came in to the time I left was a total of 2 hours. They are such an amazing office and Dr. McDonald was the best! I will tell EVERYONE I know about him and his amazing staff!!! I was so stressed out about the whole process since I expected only 1 extraction. Thank you so much Dr. McDonald and staff!

Ally Very hard to get a hold of. No one answered my calls during the week. I understand being busy, so I left a thorough and detailed voicemail like the line said to. I’m then texted, and asked to text out my reason for calling, again. Even though I said I left the voicemail. I obliged and texted, asking the question three times if they offer any plans if I’m not using dental insurance, and my question was avoided all three times, giving me irrelevant info, on purpose. Instead of answering, they said “reach out if you want to schedule” … I’m kind of confused— I was asking was because I was considering scheduling. I thought my question was valid and to the point. Had to jump over hurdles to get an answer to one question. I don’t like how I was treated at all, unprofessional.

Dalton My daughter has been going to healthy smiles for over 10 years. She has always been treated exceptionally well there and made So comfortable. They helped her overcome a previous fear of dentists. She thinks they are great. I do too. The work is quality and holds up over time. They are fair in their charges . Always timely. Cute waiting room with relaxing salt water fish. I have zero complaints in all these years.

Heather Jensen We have had great experiences at Healthy Smiles. Things are explained well. They have worked with my daughter to make her feel comfortable and to go at the pace at which she feels comfortable. They have worked her in for an emergency. I cant say enough good things about them.

Anthony Pepin Last week, my wife and son went to Healthy Smiles to have a cavity filled. The previous pre-op visit had been great and my son was looking forward to coming back. My wife had discussed everything with Dr. Wells and was well-informed about the procedure. Unfortunately, when they arrived, the assistant began to attempt putting a gas mask onto my son’s face. This was something that we had expressly said was a bad idea. There was an extended period of time that the assistant was trying to administer gas to my son and told him multiple times that he was “not being a good helper” and “you don’t want to help”. During this same time, another person came in and said “you’re scaring the other kids”. My son was crying and scared. Nobody seemed to care. After finally calling it quits, my wife spoke with Dr. Wells who refused to believe that her staff would treat someone this way. She denied that my wife told her about this potential issue in their pre-op visit. She also told her that "if you dont like how we do things here, you are welcome to take your money and business elsewhere." My wife and son both left in tears. He told her that “those people made me feel like a loser.” That’s incredibly difficult to hear a 7-year-old say and even harder to hear because it was an adult that made him feel that way. I would suggest that this office needs to take more accountability for how they treat their patients, starting with Dr. Wells. For someone who has been in business for 15 years, I am incredibly surprised by their lack of professionalism and lack of compassion for children. We will not be returning to Healthy Smiles again.

He is serving a population that is greatly in need when all other pediatric dental practices in the area turn the other cheek in greed and neglect those most in need. Dr. Hansford is a knowledgeable and skilled pediatric dentist with a friendly and wonderful staff. He deserves more than 5 stars.

Susanna Rose This dental office is like a dream come true! For my entire life I have had issues with my teeth, starting as a very young child, when I got all of my teeth capped. It was so traumatic that finding a dentist I could trust, who was truly concerned about the anxiety and need for pain control, was always an ordeal. After moving to Ga. I was desperate to get a knowledgeable dentist. Finally I got the name of Hall Dental, and they got me in quickly. From the receptionists to the dentists -I see Dr Alec Hall- then to Ms. Joan who has been working on a new set of dentures (my first ever), I just can’t thank them enough for their friendliness, expertise, and my first experience in pain free fillings (no novocaine injections?!).There are dentists, surgeons, gp’s, and hospitals that I’ve experienced that leave me angry and in pain, who on top of that don’t care in the least that their services are so poor. This office DOES care.They have an excellent reputation for knowledge and compassion, plus they are always looking for cutting edge technology (no injections!!). You should see this for yourself, and I assure you that you’ll agree.
