Leslie King Care was good but completely lie to about the cost of the surgery! Paid the amount at the time of surgery that I was told was the full cost then received a bill for 2,000.00. I understand it’s an estimate but well over 2,000 difference in the amount I was quoted and what I paid ! Would never recommend anyone here !

Tim Butler Both my son and I have both used McDonald and Manus for our wisdom teeth extraction. Both times all the staff and doctors were polite, prompt, and professional. Both of us had minimal discomfort after our procedures. We will be using them when our daughter needs her wisdom teeth removed.

Robert Whatley Procedure went extremely well. I had 4 wisdom teeth removed and have little to no pain and minimal swelling. On day 2 of recovery and I feel great. Pain is 2/10 right now even when the meds wear off. Of course the stitches are uncomfortable but it’s just part of it. Thanks

Micah Dooley Ive been a patient of Dr. Barker for several years. He is an excellent dentist. The staff there is super friendly, and they will make you feel like you are a VIP. If you want to love your experience when you go to a dentist, you might want to make an appointment with them.

Stephanie Flores Dr. Dubose and his staff were efficient and communicative. One of the best experiences I’ve had at the dentist. I had to get a wisdom tooth pulled and a filling re filled and it took no time at all. Plus everyone was helpful and courteous starting from just walking in.

He works with people to make sure they can get in to see him. Not mention hes the best at what he does. I wont go anywhere else until he is no longer in business. James Bowman I never liked going to the dentist. Teeth cleaning always kept me away. My anxiety and blood pressure would go up for some reason. I had an issue with a filling that came out. Dr. Simmons team got me in and filled it the same day along with a cleaning. Dr. Simmons made the cleaning experience great and even the filling experience enjoyable. Highly recommend and will be back. Great place to go!

Eric Simmons Dr. Simmons was lovely, friendly and thorough. I had a great experience there and also enjoyed the more homely vibe instead of a typical dentist office.

Dan Ye Two of my teeth have brown stain caused by an extra teeth grown between them. The extra teeth had been extracted ten years ago and none of my previous dentist said any issues with these two teeth; however, Dr. Simmons said they needed to be filled because of decay. I listened to him and filled one of them, then the teeth got infection, then went through the root canal treatment. I later changed to a different dentist. The new dentist never said the other teeth had any issue or needed to be filled. I truly believe he ruined the treated teeth. Six years later, the other stained teeth is still fine; however, the treated teeth was permanently dead because of Dr. Simmons filling. Due to this, I will never trust a dentist that much any more.

Penny Carpenter I am one of those people who gets high anxiety about going to the dentist…my overall impression of Turkey Creek was of awe. The dentist and staff were super nice, courteous and made me feel like I had found my new dental location! I highly recommend Turkey Creek!!!

Julie Lawrence I did not know that I have to pay extra for a routine cleaning and the tech that did the work put fluoride on my teeth but did not finish the job. She did not even rinse it off and polish my teeth. I am supposed to be a new patient for this new office but I am not coming back. I will do my business somewhere else. Oh, and they made me believe that they doing deep cleaning/scaling but all they did was clean my upper teeth. I told them that don’t I have to do half of my side of my mouth and do the other side later? The tech said if you want it done now, we can fit you in. I am there for a routine cleaning not for a deep/scaling. They are general dentistry not Periodontist and I don’t think that the tech is qualified for scaling. they sent me this email for review so this is my experience.

Hildegard Timberlake Dr. Rice and his staff are great. Im a senior citizen and needed dentures and dental work. He takes great care to ensure I am completely comfortable. His staff always finds a nice pillow for me. He built my dentures with expertise. They fit great and I have no discomfort. His entire staff is great also. Very friendly and nice group of ladies! I would give him 6 stars if I could!

Doctor and nurse were informative, quick, and nice about the procedure. Gave good care information. Had no complications and very minimal pain. Had information relayed back from insurance in an efficient manner prior to surgery

Davis Jackson Actually the best dentist Ive ever been to. The staff is patient and friendly, and super knowledgeable. They also are honest - theyre not going to tell you you have cavities when you dont or that you have gengivitis when you dont. Dr. Blankenship is great and explains everything and takes his time - hes not just trying to rush to his next patient. 10/10

Carla Braswell I never thought I would be able to give a five star rating for a dentist visit. The staff are so friendly & Dr. Barker was great with both my 5 year old daughter as well as myself. My daughter proudly proclaimed near the end of her first visit, "Mom I really like going to the dentist!" This is what prompted my decision to schedule an appointment for myself. S L Best experience ever! I had never liked going to the dentist but the entire staff here are amazing. Dr. B and Kelly are a great team. My daughters 1st appointment is in a few months and Kelly went above and beyond to make her comfortable and show her what everything does. The facility is very clean and they seem to have the latest equipment. Thank you!

David L Chapman Worst experience at a dentist office in my life. Dr. Alexander is completely unprofessional and did a terrible job cleaning my teeth. I have never had any issues with a cleaning before and my teeth were extremely sensitive and my gums were bleeding for hours upon completion. He also attempted to over charge me for a dental product that I priced out at other clinics for 1/3 the price after leaving his office. See additional Google and online reviews from other patients and you will find similar stories and this is all since the practice changed ownership last Fall. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

James Hamby It was a very productive day with Dr Sean... We are on a mission and journey to get my teeth in a good state of health as well as a pleasing aesthetic look. I appreciate Dr Seans mannerisms and his willingness to answer all my questions before during and after the procedures. His staff is very courteous and they all made me feel at ease. I cant wait to see our results in the very near future! I think I have found my dental home... Thanks again for making everything calm and relaxing, my anxiety over this procedure could of been off the charts, but I am pleased to report that I was in very good hands the entire time. YEAH!!!

I had not been to a dentist in over 9 years due to horrible experiences. I always left feeling like I was a nuisance for them to work on my teeth. Dr Alexander is truly passionate about the work he does. He definitely cares about you as a person and your health. I loved how he continuously explained to me the entire time what he was doing and why. He was very patient with his staff as well. Marissa Howard This was my first time going here and they were amazing. I had a woman name Jennifer who cleaned my teeth and she was so nice! I was called back exactly at my appointment time and everyone was so kind. I am a curious person, so Jennifer answered all my teeth related questions! Dr. DuBose was especially nice and took the time to explain to me how my X-Rays looked and how I could improve my teeth cleaning routine. Overall, I had a great experience, the team here is truly wonderful. I definitely plan on coming back every 6 months!

K. Smith Back in summer 2022, I had terrible back molar pain, so I came here to have it situated. I first insisted just having the tooth removed fully. They said they could save it by getting a filling for it. I was also initially a walk-in client. It didn’t take long so that was a good thing. Anyways, I agreed, the doctor told me that I would possibly have some sensitivity to the cold and real hot temp with my tooth. It was still sore in a weird way, even after he got done. Speed to Nov/Dec 2022 up until now, I started having baddd pains in my right ear/side of my face that lasted for WEEKS, and I could tell that it was my nerves, some sort of infection. I needed more antibiotics and pain meds. I attempted to call the receptionist named Nikki yesterday (Thurs), and I told her about my issue, where I didn’t think the doc did a good job. She insisted she would call in my prescriptions and get it squared away. I was happy..only for a brief moment. You know I HATE to check behind grown folks, so I called CVS, they told me that didn’t even receive a call or prescription for me, but would check their voicemail since they did receive a few calls. So I called CVS back hrs later, the line was so busy I couldn’t even get through. So today (Fri) I called CVS again to make sure they checked to see if they received my prescription, they told me they checked all voicemails and didn’t have not even one prescription for me… mind you, my tooth is KILLING me to the point where I’m in tears.. and for Nikki to sit there, lie and act like she did her job is very TRASH. Of COURSE these ppl are closed today, so I haven’t been able to get in touch with ANYBODY (even their pager had me waiting for an HOUR before I hung up..) so I have to go a whole weekend in pure pain!!! These people are trash. Had they did a root canal the first time I came here last year I wouldn’t HAVE TO Go through ALL OF THIS!!! unacceptable!

They are friendly, easy to work with, genuinely concerned about your health, and they go out of their way to make sure you are healthy. Chris King Recently was dismissed from the practice after not keeping my appointments too many times in a row. I lost insurance when I turned 24 and not being able to afford my appointments outright I have had to move some things around. Been coming to Dr. Higginbothom sense I was a little guy, and other wise have really liked my time there. Absolutely disappointed. As an adult I have seen Dr. Swan. She is a great dentist. I would not want to go to anyone else, but looks like I will have to. The dr that signed my dismissal only ever saw me one time, but that is ok. I have family in small private practice dentistry and medicine, I am a UGA pre-dental student and an assistant at a vet office, so I understand clients that cancel and have to reschedule more then 5 times are frowned upon and dismissible but it still doesnt change the fact that Im saddend they would do that. One star for sadness.

They make you feel very comfortable and take the time to explain what is going on with your teeth & you bill if you have questions. Very trustworthy. Happy to have come here for 17 years.

Amber Teasley I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel like this one is important! Dr. Satterfield and his staff made my wisdom teeth removal a breeze. I was extremely nervous, as I had never been put to sleep before. Dr. Satterfield prayed over me before the procedure and called and checked on me the night of. I have had 0 pain on my removal site and have healed up comfortably. I can’t recommend Dr. Satterfield enough!!! There is no one else I’d rather go to for dental procedures.

nomans land Been a patient for 13 yrs. best in Athens IMO. Ive had two surgeries and my children have had wisdom teeth removal. Always had a pleasant experience with staff and doctor despite the circumstances. He takes care of you as a patient and addresses all concerns down to the letter.

Charlie Hall Wisdom teeth surgery done a few years back. All 4 teeth taken out. No pain at all. Was able to go completely off pain medications the next morning. Very little swelling. Would highly recommend.
