Lady Elena Just speechless and disappointed. The guy at the desk recommended Lilly, whom I assumed was a high experienced nail tech and the quality of work is AMATEUR. I showed her the last photo for reference and got the knock off version. I am not satisfied whatsoever. If the guy had just said, “we can’t do that design here,” he would’ve saved me my time and money, but no he failed to suggest a better nail tech. (Don’t trust their front desk’s opinion). I wish I could’ve ran for the hills. So I warn you, RUN!! They just want your money. It doesn’t seem like they strive for quality nail design. When I mentioned it’s nothing like the picture, they took $5 off. What a joke!! I almost booked it when she put the clear coat on. Not worth a dime!

Alisha Wallace The owner is very rude to me when I come and Im not sure why. Today is very busy and I understand mothers day is tomorrow this lady was extremely dismissive and unprofessional. I see why all of her BEST nail techs are no longer there. Dont get me wrong she have amazing nail techs there that are very good but several of them have left and I see why. I went to nails and more in Lawrenceville, this is my nail salon from now on the owner is AMAZING! All of his employees have been with him for years, they have a bar with real mixed drinks, affordable prices and they dont pressure you to get services or charge you for shaping your nails or cutting them down. I see why they have a 4.9 review. Im going to make sure they get the 5 stars they deserve.

Shekita Fuller The techs were very gentle with me as I have lymphedema and my legs are very painful. They took great care in my service and my toes and nails look amazing

Emily Turner I’ve been coming here for at least 10 years and after today, never again. I would give no stars if I could. I was charged double for my service today with a mediocre job at best. I was charged for removing the old nails, which this place did originally for no charge and then charged for acrylic and a second set of nails again. What? Save your money before you get ripped off. The quality of service that I received was horrible and when I brought all of this to their attention after charging me double, they were rude and said too bad. They will charge you and then charge you again for a service that is not provided. BUYER BEWARE.

Lucy Fannin I LOVED!!! my nails were sooo cute she did the BEST good job and everyone was so sweet, it was so pretty inside, they care about you as a costumer! Lucy was the sweet girl who did my nails I loved her!

Breantaria Green This was my first time at Modern nails and I must say I made a awesome choice. Super clean and professional. Prices are super affordable. Stacy #1 did my French tips with nude acrylic. My nail beds are super short, so she and the owner suggested this look and I LOVE them. The nude matches my melanin skin tone. Definitely will be going back. I’m from Houston, TX. I’ve been in GA 3 years and have just found what I’ve been looking for.

Sonya Tejada Showed them a picture of the design I wanted and they did their best to match it. Polish is not perfect and definitely got charged alot more than expected based on what i get charged for similar things at other places but overall a good experience.

Yilsomde Yabre She did a horrible job for my pedicure and manicure. First of it she was very rude to me and was just pushing my leg in the water et doing some crazy stop on me. I do not recommend this place some of them are very rude and don’t take good care of customers. After manicure and pedicure she refused to give me a massage at the end. Very disappointed

Dominique Chance I got my nails done on Feb 7th, I left to go on a cruise on the 10th by the 12th my nails were lifting up literally! I got a full set white tips, pedicure, and my man got a manicure total price $110. That is to much money to have my nails lifting up within the week, I believe its because it was to many people working on me, one lady did put my tips on , a different lady did my pedicure, another lady came over to the pedicure chair to start my nails she forgot to add that solution they put on your nails before the put on the acrylic, just to much going on, then to top it off of course Im going to tip my nails didnt look bad the first few days my issue with the tipping was I had to tip four ppl literally (the one who did my mans nails, the lady who added the tips on my nails, the pedicure, the lady who did my nails) I wont be back but for anyone else going ask for one person cause to do all your services so technically $130 is what I paid. ALSO if you look at the pictures my nails havent even grown out to be lifting and coming off!

Augustina Izueke I got almond nails for $27, since they have refurbished its a bit more professional than previously. But the man who works there was impatient with me while I choosing my color. There is acrylic / polish in my cuticles and under my nails. But you get what you pay for.

Cheree Smith I am not local to the area. So, I read the reviews from each shop so I knew where to go. I picked diamond nails due to the amazing reviews I had read. I made an appointment with Jennifer. She was gentle in completing the fill-in as well as adding a new polish.

Anne Ayo My whole 25years of fixing my nails this is the worst place I have ever been too. I wanted to try somewhere new got here shower the guy what I wanted he goes pick your color I should him the picture again I want the same color and design in the picture. Now I’m expecting to get the exact same result but atleast something similar. To cut the long story short after 2hrs off being here I ended telling him to clean everything off because he took his time when I mean he took his time he literally was paying and drying my nails one finger at a time, when I realized he wasnt even getting the design and painting I wanted I told him to clean everything off and mind you it’s been 2hrs and he had only done one hand and hasn’t even finished with that one hand. And then he cleans everything off and they ask me to still pay $30 for my nails because they had put acrylic on my nails. Like are yall really serious right now! Customer service poor all they care about is collecting ur money, they didnt even care that I was unhappy with my nails. Never again! I should have known cause I was legit the only person in the store getting my nails and pedi done for 2hours. Still here as I type this! Don’t waste ur money!

Sheri Alsobrook Was in the area looking for a nail salon. The people are welcoming and nice. My cell phone was sitting a certain way in my lap and the lady that worked there grabbed it with a towel to ensure it did not fall in the water. We began to talk about where we were from and she told me she was from Vietnam. I shared pictures with her of a trip I took to Vietnam and other places in different countries. She was fascinated! She spoke to my daughter multiple times to make sure she was okay even though my daughter was not being served. Prices are reasonable and they don’t charge for things a lot of other salons do. I didn’t know what to expect. But with the manicure, I was given some cream with a heating pad was included, in the pedicure, hot towels and extra exfoliating stuff was included. I wish I stayed in the area to continuously go back, but unfortunately I live an hour away and was only in the area because my son had a baseball game.

Queen Amadi Love my pedicure. I believe her name was Donna and she really took her time to make sure my toes were Clean before applying the acrylic. Plus I’m pregnant and she massaged my feet so well! I will be coming back ❤️

DéVay Fluellyn I originally had an experience today that didn’t meet my expectations, but the owner personally reached out to me after seeing my review and sincerely apologized. They invited me back the same day to make things right, and I truly appreciate their kindness and professionalism. They soaked off my original set and had Tiffany do a new one, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. In the past, I’ve been hesitant to speak up at other salons because I’ve had experiences where feedback wasn’t well received, but this was completely different. Everyone was so kind, understanding, and committed to making sure I was satisfied. My daughters and I received excellent service, and we are beyond pleased. Since moving to the area, we’ve been searching for a new go-to nail salon, and I’m happy to say we’ve found it! I appreciate the care and attention they showed me, and I will definitely be a returning customer. Highly recommend!

Tammy Powell Have been going to Ruby Nail for years. Not once have I ever had any issues or concerns. The ladies are top notch, service is great and cleanliness is superb. Would and have recommended them to all females and males I know. Pricing is great as well.

Alexis Ray I take pride in the health of my nails which is why I requested the SNS dip with my natural nails(no tip) The nail tech had no regards for the integrity of my nail bed and literally butchered one. Well when I politely brought up my concerns she decided to be dismissive. Now I could have become belligerent but I decided to be the bigger person, paid and vowed to never return!! I get it you may mess up but to dismiss my concerns as if they’re minute is when you lose a customer.

Every single time I come here and see Tina I am so extremely satisfied with the work that she does I went in after someone had bought my nails and she remove them and did such a tremendous job doing them over for me shes the only place I can go to and show them a picture and she can do it with ease she works so hard and shes such a good nail tech I will not go anywhere else to get my nails done as long as Im here in Georgia

Jordan Grim I don’t normally write reviews at all im not really a picky person and i like to give people the benefit of the doubt even if my experience wasn’t all that great , but this experience was just not good whatsoever and i really hate to be that person who complains but i wanted to write a review to help other people out . When I first came in I wasn’t really greeted no one said hello how are you or smiled at all it and was just “how can I help you” very quickly barely spared me a glance . Fast forwarding to the man who did my pedicure. He was very rough and it was just so painful for me , he was cutting the sidewalls of my nails which you aren’t supposed to do because they cause ingrown toenails. I kept wincing and pain and yanking my feet from him a few times and he just looked at me and didn’t ask if I was okay it and was clear as day that it was hurting me. It just felt like my foot was a rag doll and both of my feet are so sore from it . Nothing looked new or like it came fresh out of a package . You should be using all new equipment when doing this kind of service . All around it just was not a good experience.

I only get my nails done a couple of times a year because I can’t afford it but every year for my birthday I’ll make sure I get my nails done this place was recommended to me. Please read the reviews before you go anywhere. Do not go to the Male nail technician he was rude and didn’t even know how to do a simple French tip. His station was filthy. His hands were grimy and none of his instruments were clean. There was dust everywhere and it looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in years, Disgusting!!! My nails look horrible and disappointed as an understatement. Do not go here!!!!

Amazing staff, amazing service, quick, and they have discount cards for how many times you go to get $20 off! They have hundreds of different nail and feet colors. Crystina Williams They deleted my last review… This place is an absolute no. I have gotten my nails done several times at this establishment. And every time my nails chip, or break off DAYS after getting them done. I went to many different people but it continues to be an issue. I was fed up when one of the techs made my toe bleed smh. DON’T GO HERE!

Dana C I’ve been here twice for pedicures and I have had a great experience both times. The salon is clean and beautiful. The staff are all very courteous. I’ve never had to wait. The pedicures have both been very good. I’m very happy that I stumbled upon this gem.

liliana deluna I used to come here years ago when they used to be packed crazy busy but over the years I guess people have stopped coming. I needed a service done and when I walked in nobody was in the front attending customers. Then they said they wouldn’t have anyone available, I don’t think they have many people working in their shop like before however their prices are more expensive they charge $20 for gel polish and everywhere else it’s $15 not sure why they charge so much when they don’t have a big selection on gel polish even though they are a big shop. I wouldn’t recommend coming here as a walk in. I would call and make an appointment or just go somewhere else.

Yonikki Montford Ive given this shop several chances with disappointment. Within a week the gel nail polish comes off, nails break easy and the techs arent good with designs at all. Prices are reasonable

Kara Arnette Tim did freaking amazing! This was my 1st time at the Sugarloaf Posh location and it was a very beautiful and friendly environment. I waited a couple weeks to review to test the nails and they are still going strong! Only thing Id ever change maybe the sharpness I always get stilettos but extra sharp lol but still not complaining ! I will be going to this location from now on and requesting for Tim!!

MLDB FLY When first walking, I was greeted immediately and put in a chair. The ambiance was great. I did not have a great experience though. The pedicure was not good at all. It was supposed to be express (I had to go back to work) but it took about an hour and the job was not done correctly. My soles shouldn’t look like this days after a pedicure. I’ve been getting pedis for quite some time and this is not okay. I will never return. The owner was great though.

Karina Martinez WORSE!! absolutely the worst place you can ever go to! please safe your time and money! for a basic pedicure they charged my over $55 the guy who was doing my pedicure didn’t even know what he was doing, my nails ended up being super think and uneven. please please don’t come to this place !!!! Please explain how this even happened, imagine how thick and bad job someone has to do in order for this to happen.

Jess My nails came out so badly that all I can do is laugh. This is the worst manicure I have ever had. My nail beds are burning because she filed so aggressively. The paint job is horrendous and my nails are CROOKED. I politely expressed my dissatisfaction, but she didn’t seem to care. I definitely will never return here. This cost $56

I love how comfy the shop is and how great/welcoming all the girls are. ✨Tweet✨keeps my brows waxed to perfection and my nails beautiful all the time. She can do the most amazing designs and her suggestions/advice only makes your nails look better. Love her and that she takes the time to do my nails so they last! She also has amazing attention to detail! I’m super rough on my hands but Tweet keeps them pretty. Cant say enough good things- it’s worth it to make an appointment here!

Jennifer Almonte I have been going here for a year now and sad I have not shared how great this place is. Very professional team of folks who know and care about nail care. I see Mell for my nails and have seen multiple people for my pedi’s and I am never disappointment. On top of the great service provided I never feel rushed because they provide the appropriate booking time for the service and it is by appointment only. The atmosphere is great, no one is pushy and everyone is very accommodating within reason. I drive almost an hour to get there and will continue to do so while I am able to. Thanks ya’ll!
