1 /5 Andrea: I typically don’t leave reviews, but after my experience at L&P Nails, I feel it’s important to speak up—especially for others considering this salon.
I originally came here because of Lee, who was always kind, professional, and took great care with her work. Since she’s no longer there, I decided to give it another try. Unfortunately, this visit confirmed that I will not be returning.
When I explained the service I wanted—done the same way I’ve had it at other salons—the response wasn’t one of clarification or explanation. Instead, I was met with defensiveness, repeated dismissals, and an unprofessional tone. Rather than calmly stating that they don’t offer a service that way, I was talked over and made to feel like I didn’t know what I was asking for. It wasn’t about being right or wrong—it was the way I was spoken to that crossed the line. I came in respectfully and was treated as if I was being combative when all I did was communicate my preference.
Beyond my own experience, I also witnessed two different customers come in—within minutes of each other—complaining about issues with white polish bubbling and peeling. The staff made no acknowledgment of prior complaints and instead tried to upcharge one of the women $20 just to change the color. She’d driven in from Newnan, and even she said she wouldn’t be back. There was no accountability, no customer care, and no sense of ownership for ongoing product issues.
The energy overall was unprofessional—playing in the back, loud conversations, and egos taking priority over respectful service. Customers deserve to be heard, treated with care, and valued. That was not the case here.
I don’t leave negative reviews lightly, but I want others to know what to expect. If you value professionalism, consistency, and respectful communication—this may not be the place for you.
