Doug Morton These guys saved the day and we are so thankful. We were stranded with a broken spring bracket on our fifth wheel trailer. Kyle and his assistant drove to where we had the trailer parked to see if he could fix it and then he sent me a text to say he could. He quickly went back to his shop to retrieve the necessary equipment and had already started fixing the problem before we could get to the trailer and meet him. Amazing service and his charges were very reasonable.

Armstrong Shaunnan (ClanArmstrongStudios) Failed to have the tires I had ordered when I showed up for my appointment. Failed to properly log my information in the system. Failed to do an alignment that was paid for and documented. Failed to rotate the tires, and then blatantly lied too that they had been rotated. (Clearly I have eyeballs and can see that they hadnt...) Failed to offer any customer service after my front tires were worn to the wear bars after 10,000 miles of driving because the alignment was never done. Service writer Micheal was unhelpful, defensive, and frankly wasted my time. I guess 2 cheap tires is more valuable than repeat customer business.

Susan X My truck was shaking and figured the tires needed to be rebalanced. Took it to the guys at Mavis to see how much it would cost and he asked why I thought it needed to be rebalanced. After looking the car over and the tire wear he said it looks like it’s an alignment issue. And after putting it on the rack found it was. The truck is driving fine now! Appreciate the guys there and their expertise!

Fred Nice I had my car painted by collision Doctor and this is what my car looks like now and it hasn’t been a full 2 yrs since it’s been painted . Horrible. Now I see why they’re out of business. They were very friendly people tho.

barbara palomino My "baby" was neglected during our year-long move. It needed some repairs but I decided to go ahead and take it out. Not paying attention I crashed backing out and destroyed the rear-view mirror... I looked around for someone to repair everything and found them. They were so gracious, professional and took amazing care of my car. It looks brand new as they fixed everything with the utmost care! The cost was also exceptionally fair. Lastly, these folks are military veterans! If you want to help our vets and get WONDERFUL service this is the place to bring your car. If you see me around town and the car looks great, it is because of them!

Troy Farren I cant say enough of how happy I am with my repairs to my car. Brent and his team did an amazing job of matching the paint and blending it. My Lexus had a special paint job and you would never know I had to have the trunk hood replaced. His wife Ginger is at the front desk and always greets you with a smile. You will not be disappointed if you bring your car here for repairs.

Alicia palmieri While they did an excellent job on one side of my car, the other damage from the incident was left. Insurance, after many phone calls, apparently only approved for half of the damage to be fixed. The other half was left unfixed. I guess since it is a separate part of the car it is a separate claim all together. A heads up would have been better than nothing. The part they fixed does look great, but if I had known it would have been filed separately I might not have been so cross when I picked the unfinished car up.

KJ I got a Skid steer stuck in the woods at my property very early in the morning on a weekend a few months back. He came, and had me winched out all within an hour of calling for an extremely reasonable rate. Will continue to recommend his services.

Bob Marshall John is beyond an asset to Toccoa, GA!!! He was immediately responsive to our call (after normal business hours). Being from out of town and not knowing who to call we were delighted and fortunate to have him at our location within 15 minutes, diagnosing the problem from multiple angles of possibilities. He had us up and running in about 10 minutes. His knowledge and resourcefulness was worth MUCH MORE than what he charged us for coming to see about our cars ailment. FIVE STARS, FIVE STARS!!! S Lor I have had both of my cars serviced here a few times in the past. Other mechanics and friends told me this place was the best for AC repairs. Brought my car in, and sure enough, they did a great job and I have had cold air without any issues for two years now. The only problem was that after the repair, whenever we went above 50 mph, we now heard a loud shaking, clunking sound from our engine. We brought it back to them since that was definitely not there before. They tried fixing it but essentially had no idea what it was, saying that it was likely to be a loose plastic covering of some sort. Frustrated, I did online research on my own and discovered that they had incorrectly put back part of the plastic coverings for the front mounts which would shake and flap violently when going over a certain speed.To make a simple mistake like that was annoying, especially since I had to figure it out on my own and fix their mistake. Regardless, it was a quick fix and they did a stellar job on the AC, so I forgave and moved on. I brought the car in a few months afterwards because there was a loud noise coming from my front drivers wheel. They diagnosed it as needing a new wheel bearing. I greatly appreciate it that they were honest and said I shouldnt need to replace the passenger side. I wouldnt have known since I know very little about wheel bearings, and they could have easily made more money by saying I should replace the drivers side, but they didnt. I feel like a dishonest mechanic would have easily said yes to score some extra money. I greatly appreciated their honesty. They repaired it and I havent had a problem with that since. Recently, I brought my other vehicle in. It was having some really bad issues - losing acceleration, engine dying when idle, and the whole car jolting when shifting gears at times. It took me weeks to get the car in because they were so busy, which isnt their fault. Finally, they called and said it was ready for pick up. I was charged almost $200 for the repair, which was fine by me if they actually repaired the issue. Their diagnosis was to clean the air filter and clean the top of throttle body, both which take only a few minutes to access. They also added air into my tires. Within two days, all of the issues came back. Engine light came back on. $200 down the drain for something I could have done in 30 minutes. Overall, I feel like this shop has some knowledgeable staff, but they are so busy and packed with repairs that I think they have just gotten to the point where they quickly run through each repair, resulting in making simple mistakes and trying to get the next car in as soon as possible. I will still use this shop in the future, but with great caution - only if they can accurately diagnose what the problem is with full confidence and if they arent swamped with customers during that time.

I will definitely be a repeat customer. Was never there more then 30 mins. Ive had 2 of my truck tires mounted and balanced. And a trailer tire mounted. Still havent spent more then 50 bucks!

Dennis Houston I had some exhaust work done by this shop and if you want your car to be serviceable when they are done, you need to tell them specifically. You would think with them doing other work besides exhaust that they would understand in order to service certain components. The exhaust will need a flange in order to be dropped to do so however, according to Corey their owner, that’s the way they’ve been doing it for years, so it’s apparently right. If you want future headaches, use this company if you don’t go somewhere else.

becky smith I dont trust anybody but Taylors with my car. They are very kind and trustworthy. They wont tell you your car needs this or that when it dont. I highly recommend this place to anyone. They are a good Christain business. You wont be disappointed.

Rick Fletcher Its great to see an old style service station, still in operation. Stans has the service bays for car repairs and a Full Service Island, where they will pump your gas, wash the windshield and check the tires and fluids. Fast and friendly service too.

Sandra Helfer I called this place needing four tires replaced. They told me to come in whenever is convenient for me. I called back to double check how long the service would take since I would have to bring my toddler with me. They told me one hour. Long story short, I waited 3 hours and didn’t even get the services I needed. When I arrived, they told me that I needed my brake pads replaced and an alignment. I agreed to adding an alignment but brake pads were out of my budget for this visit. After they took all of my tires off, they came back over to tell me they didn’t have my tires in stock. So the manager Reggie had to drive to a different location and pick up. The guy at the front desk was on his phone almost the entire time and never checked on me to let me know how much longer. I finally went up to ask what was going on after 2 hours sitting in the waiting area.. he told me the manager was 10 minutes away with the tires. Almost another hour passed. I went up to the desk again and asked if they could possibly give me a complementary oil change at least. It appeared that the employees were just standing around and there weren’t any other customers at the time. They obliged. But when I paid for my services in the end, I noticed that the alignment wasn’t on the receipt. So I went back to ask the manager if they did the alignment. He said they did not because they thought I didn’t want it anymore. I never expressed that. So I waited for almost 4 hours and didn’t even get the service that I needed. Not to mention the gentleman that walked in close to when I was getting ready to leave told me that each time he’s been there, the wait is always much longer than they quote you. All this to say, I will not be going here again.

AMFB In my experience, my vehicle was in better condition needing repairs than what I finally left with 4 months later, which included a broke transmission mount metal on metal and possibly damage in transmission that I cant afford to fix. Thats just end result, not including after first "repair" axle wasnt even torque right, ect. Absolutely NOT recommended!!!

Sister sue Today I waited 3 hours for AAA because my car wouldnt start. As soon as they jumped my battery I headed to Toccoa Chevrolet and they quickly installed a new battery for me. I appreciate their fast efficient service and their friendly staff.
