Erika Gonzalez: MILITARY WARNING
We had an awful experience cancelling & were overcharged $90 which we had to fight for with over 5 calls, emails with the owner & texts from an assistant manager. We got our PCS orders on 8/27 and that EXACT day we went in & cancelled. We agreed with 2 more payments, per the cancellation form, BUT they delayed the processing of paperwork to sneak $30 away from us!!! And took ZERO accountability for this and tried to make it our problem!! Understand “Receipt of Proof” on the contract is your orders, and they need to process it the day of you handing it in so they don’t try to steal your money!! They never gave me a reason why they did this, and they tried to say oh you checked in, NOPE, know your rights because they will try anything to take your money they don’t deserve! The other $60 was a glitch, but they didn’t even process anything until after my 5th call!! And they are soooooo unhelpful.
If I did it again I’d demand immediate proof of the cancellation processing the moment I sign & email the owner that the 30 days begins that moment & document every interaction! The employees just mislead & fake promises of refunds but those don’t show up until you demand and beg and it’s the most ridiculous cancellation I’ve ever experienced.
I hope nobody is ever treated how we were & I hope they seriously look at the errors they committed & figure out how to better serve their customers.
Mandy M: The turf area is wide without feeling cramped. The push room is a solid upgrade. They’re always investing into the space and new evolving equipment. I was the first to try out the new boxing bag after the new boxing bag.
Outside the equipment, the gym has a great atmosphere that encourages continuous improvement. The staff is attentive and always looking for ways to help you progress, whether through training adjustments or new equipment. It’s clear they are about helping you get the most out of every workout.
Special thanks to tony, super professional and easy to talk to. He keeps it positive and makes the gym feel more personal. Whether youre here to build, move temporarily, or just stay consistent max gives you the tools and the space to do it right. Wish I could stay but I PCS.
Lili Todd: I’ve been a loyal member here for 4 years and have always had great experiences—until recently. I arrived about 5 minutes late for a Pilates class and completely understand giving priority to waitlisted members. However, there was an open reformer and I was still refused entry. In the past, I’ve been allowed to join when there was availability, so the inconsistency was frustrating.
What was most disappointing was how the instructor handled it—she was unnecessarily rude and dismissive, which left me feeling unwelcome. As a fitness instructor myself, I value clear communication and professionalism, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I would never handle a situation like this because you never know what people are going through, and someone’s fitness journey can be very sensitive. I drove across town for this class and would not have come if I had known I wouldn’t be able to join. I won’t be taking classes with this instructor again, but hope the studio addresses this so other members don’t have the same experience.
