Stephanie Reynolds This nail salon is the best place to get your nails done. Everyone there is amazing and does a great job. Especially my chic, Vicki. She knows I love to be different so she is always coming up with new ideas. She has never disappointed me.

Danielle Freeman I hate to write a review, but this has been on my mind for 2 days straight, and I’m out $48. The owner, John and the manager, Vikki provide the best nail service and I usually request they do my nails when I visit. Saturday, I came in (10am sharp) and requested the owner, but when I learned he wasn’t there yet I accepted whoever was available. I had short oval nails and 3 of them were broken so I was alittle desperate and seeing as I had a bday party to attend I was on a tight schedule.
My nail tech was very kind, and we had a lot in common. I requested short oval/almond and clarified that I did not want them pointy. A few times throughout the service I said “ouch”, but at 11 I was finished, paid for my service and was out the door. When I got to my car and really assessed the job, I was so discouraged- the nail tech over-filed the perimeters so much so that the skin underneath my nail bed was exposed….. two of which were so tender they were alittle raw. I didn’t have time to ago back in and address my concerns though…… I still had to run home and finish getting ready.
About an hour later I was on my way to the party and decided I’d call the salon and let John know that I was unhappy with how my nails turned out. I asked him if could send pictures of my nails and he offered to fix them. I told him my situation and we made an appt. for 1pm the following day.
12:30 I arrive and let them who I was, that I knew I was super early, and that I was okay to wait. No big deal.
12:45 they asked me to soak my nails without ever even looking at them and said John would be there soon.
1:15 salon manager receives phone call and says John would be there in 10 minutes.
1:30 I pack my stuff up and say to the manager who is one table over, “I think I’m just gonna go” to which her response was “he’ll be here any minute!” I kindly but very discouragingly let Vikki know that I understood but that my appt. scheduled for 1pm and walked out.
Will spend the next few weeks letting my nails recover, and hope that when they grow out they won’t get snatched on anything. Appts. used to mean something to business owners! Sad to say I won’t be back to my neighborhood nail salon.

Dwight Jackson I’m sorry but I won’t be coming back and would discourage anyone from patronizing Tips & Toes. They didn’t even remove all of the old nail polish before adding new polish which made my nails look spotty and uneven. After I complained; I was told “sorry” and they didn’t even try to correct my concerns. This was the first and last time for me.
