They are wonderful and cater to children with dairy allergies/ children with lots of gerenal allergies and allow me to bring my own toothpaste to visits for this reason so I dont have to worry. Very respectful of parents wishes for their children! I would highly recommend Dr. Hughes!!!:)

Sharon Starnes If you want place that actually cares about your or your childs health, GO ELSEWHERE. This place is all money money money!!! If youre late or miss an appointment, theyll either charge you $50, or just completely drop you as a patient, even if the patient is a child. The staff are stuck up and the space is small. This place has a low rating for a reason, choose a different dental clinic! These people do not have your health on the forefront of their minds! edit: They said "several missed appointments" meaning TWO! with no limit of how much time is between them! This place is ridiculous, and you can tell from their replies. Do yourself a favor and skip this place, I dont even think they believe the things they say.

Elizabeth S. Has been my dentist for 10 years, my husband’s dentist and my in-laws (since my Father-in-law was young). But they won me over when they helped my check my 8-year-old’s teeth when our pediatric dentist is MIA since Friday (that’s another story.) They took x-rays we needed and said they will reach out to our new pediatric dentist and work a game plan to get treatment needed a.s.a.p. for his back teeth that aren’t doing good. (Prophylactic antibiotics he had to take for 10-months after birth apparently destroyed the enamel on his teeth while forming and they need help now) So grateful for these folks!!!

Celina Rowan I have been a patient since 2000. There is no better place for all dental care from teeth cleaning to the implants. Dr. Vernon, Dr. Moldovan, and the entire staff are very knowledgeable, friendly and always ready to help. I have a lot of dental issues and Dr. Vernon has been there always when I needed help with his expertise. My whole family, as it kept growing, has been faithfully joining the satisfied patients list. I highly recommend this practice.

Zein Fouda The worst dentist that you can ever have for your kid. She and her staff could not accommodate my child, were not professional in dealing with us, and made them scream without trying to find good ways to handle it as other doctors do. Most of the children there are screaming too.

Karen Allen I saw Dr. Utermark & staff decades ago & wouldn’t leave a review except I see patients still complaining of the same problems I experienced. While I wasn’t personally restrained I saw & heard other children screaming & struggling. Staff gossiped about Dr. Utermark being “in a horrible mood, watch out” and claimed she accused them of stealing. That’s where the focus was vs pediatric patients. One day they were debating leaving plastic dog poop on the floor, to make her mad, idk. It wasn’t said in the spirit of fun. I’ve had severe dental care anxiety since being treated there, my parents even paid more to have another ortho finish my braces. I’d always had great reports on my brushing, then I came straight from school & went to brush before being seen, per normal. Was told Dr. Utermark was mad about a no show, I had to come right back & not brush. She then said my whole name loudly, to chart “she had poor oral hygiene, her lunch is in her teeth.” I was humiliated. Then she went on about how I needed plastic surgery for a weak chin that would “look even worse once my wisdom teeth were pulled.” Devastating to a teen girl who had been fine with her chin. Consult with plastic surgeon, he reassured me that unless I was trying to be a model I need not worry, but the damage was done. Put off having wisdom teeth removed for years, really all dental care, I had just grown so anxious about anything involving dental care. No doubt Dr. Utermark is skilled, but the bedside manner & willingness to frankly be coldly condescending can have a lasting impact on children. And the restraints were awful. So glad my three children were treated with patience & kindness, even if it took a bit more time to gain their trust. All 3 love going to the dentist, ortho & had wonderful experiences with wisdom tooth removals on time.

My teeth and new smile are a living testimony of their goal of perfection. I appreciate their willingness to work with my schedule, even through a military deployment. Callista Gifford-DeHart When I lived in Augusta I really enjoyed coming here. The staff was super friendly and nothing but positivity during my cleanings. If I had one thing to say it would be when I inquired about invisalign for my teeth and they were helpful, but I didnt like how there were no payment options. You had to pay it all up front, which not a lot of people have money lying around specifically for braces. So, to ensure my teeth hadnt shifted anymore I purchased a nighttime retainer. Great experience, really fast; however, I did question the thickness of the original retainer I received. Thats on me, as I should have asked up front. Sadly about 7-8 months in, my retainer tore really easily when I took it out of my mouth. I called them and they were so good about replacing it. I shipped it back and received a new one within a week and a half, if that. I think any business has moments of "uh oh," but they took care of me during my time there and after. Highly recommend.

Christian Ahmed The office is nice, and the staff are very friendly. Im giving 3 stars because they werent transparent when I initially asked about my insurance benefits. I was told pre appointment, that Id only have a co-pay and my insurance would cover the rest. I later received a bill and was told post visit that they "hardly take any insurances". If that had been relayed to me upfront, I would have just found an office in network with my plan.

Christy did an excellent job of cleaning and taking x-rays as well as being personable and considerate. Dr. Wingard explained clearly and gave options for treatment. He took his time, is very professional, and seems to be a very nice person, as well! I would highly recommend this practice.

Quinten Bickford Best dentist and staff I have ever dealt with. I have had extensive work done by Dr. Boyd and it is by far the best dental work I have had done. I have never once felt any pain in his chair. I am always excited when I get the reminder text for my 6 month cleanings. His staff is also wonderful I always feel like welcomed as I walk in and talk to Joy about our pets and life while I check in. He is also not the type to push extra work onto you that you don’t need and is very knowledgeable and FUNNY. Thanks Dr. Boyd and staff!

John Called to get info on this office as I saw the good reviews and saw this dentist is in network with my insurance whereas my current one isn’t. The receptionist (“Linda” I think was her name) was short, abrupt, and sounded like she didn’t want to be bothered. I’m sure Dr Boyd is a fine dentist but it sounds like he needs to do a better job training his staff on how to be professional, because my unpleasant experience just cost them a potential customer.

Jim Kilpatrick I hate doing this but it’s the principle of it. I have never had a problem with this office until now. This review has nothing to do with being upset or angry. I was told by the assistant who was to assist Dr Simonds and also by Dr Simonds himself, that I would not be charged an office visit for the day when I made the decision to not have any work done because they could not tell me what I would owe out of pocket after insurance. When I’m told I will not be charged and then you charge me…not cool. Bekah, thank you for everything you’ve done for me. You’ve been the best dental hygienist I’ve ever had. You are the only reason why I’m giving two stars.

Veena Bhatia I visited De ONeal Kyle fir tooth extraction I was uncomfortable he pulled with all his strength that I was so scared and it’s weird also he break it also and pulled I asked him if it was not decayed he replied he doesn’t know but there was crack in it that’s why he pulled it.. He took X-rays before extraction and didn’t c it is decayed or not.I tried hard to take Dr.Trotter apptt but in vain. That is my hard luck

Dallas Stephens As an Aiken resident, Ive been using Dr. ONeal for many years and hes never disappointed. Class act. Hes a first rate surgeon and first rate guy. Always caring and delivers a personal touch that obviously comes natural. Plus, his staff are outstanding. Im just thrilled to see that hes now in Aiken every week but Id gladly use him no matter where he practices.

Rose Lamothe I was so nervous about getting my tooth pulled but Dr. O’Neal and his staff were so accommodating and friendly it made the whole process so much easier than anticipated! I had an infection in my tooth so they fit me in their schedule within a week and the staff was so nice and even though I usually don’t do well with anesthesia, it didn’t make me sick even after the procedure. Zero pain and absolutely no swelling! Highly highly recommend!
