1 /5 Jennifer Ohs: They don’t stand behind their work. Go elsewhere. The money you think you’re saving will just go toward fixing their mistakes.
We had our truck towed here after engine failure. Worked with Ryan to select a rebuilt engine. They installed it, and we should have known something was wrong as soon as we pulled off the lot. The check engine light came on immediately. We turned around, they looked at it, drove it, cleared the code, and told us it was a fuel pressure issue.
The next day, the truck couldn’t tow our trailer more than 5 mph. We took it to a shop in Atlanta for a quick look. They found a massive fuel leak caused by poor engine installation. Several parts had to be replaced because of damage from leaking fuel. That damage never should have happened.
While the warranty covered some of it, the Garage on Gordon refused cover anything. They told us we should have brought it back to them. Mind you, were 2 hours away and Im not taking the vehicle back to a shop that messed it up in the first place from general lack of quality control in workmanship. We gave them the opportunity to make it right - not asking for a full refund, but asking them to pay for some of the remaining balance of the corrective work. They would not.
The second shop’s report listed silicone on parts that shouldn’t have it, missing bolts, and other signs of bad workmanship. Extremely disappointing experience.
