Savannah Childrens Museum - Savannah (GA)

5 /5 Courtney Gfroerer: This place is incredible. It is definitely different than any other children’s museum we’ve been to, but in a good way. It’s all outdoors. There is a walk from parking but you get to see the trains without having to pay train museum admission (which was sufficient for my toddler lol). When we visited, there was a water table, sand kitchen and garden that my kiddos particularly loved. We stayed around 2 hours and basically had to drag my kid out - he would have stayed in the sand kitchen forever. It is smaller and I think geared more towards younger kids, but if that what you have then they’ll LOVE it. I could see us coming back again if we were in the area. It was only April and warm - I am sure it gets HOT in the summer as there is minimal shade and it’s all outdoors. Bring your own water bottles - there are vending machines but they were sold out of all drinks when we went and they do have fountains to fill bottles.

5 /5 Tracy: My kids and I had a blast here! The staff is so great with kids. There were a lot of fun activities for the kids. A scavenger hunt, which I think was the best part for all the kids. Other kids helped mine find some, and mine helped them. It was so much fun! Crafting activities for the kids, a maze. They had a little tortoise and a little frog area. The frogs were in the pvc pipes, just tiny little guys. There were gardens and watering jugs for the kids to be able to help water. A cute kitchen nook, reading nooks, and they have story time for the kids. So much fun!

5 /5 Joy M: This review is for a weekday visit with a 6 and 3yo boys. Overall had a great time at this very original concept for kids to play and engage in learning and fun activities. Place is easy to find and has a big, free parking lot. I think the pricing is fair and reasonable and a good value for the money. I paid $10 per person including myself the supervising adult. The Children’s Museum is all outside and so plan with the weather and check if they are open before you go. I thought the place is very safe and well payed out with variety or things to do that my boys enjoyed a lot. Some of the highlights for us were the giant building blocks, sand kitchen, story time and the garden lesson about oranges and tangerines. We spend about 4 hours there bouncing from one area to next, entertained constantly. We had packed a lunch to eat- there is an area to sit and eat as well as few benches through the park. I want to say the park was not busy on a week day and while there were plenty of kids we didn’t have to wait to use any of the amenities. There are bathrooms right by the front door.

5 /5 Blossom Abel: Its a great space for my kid. He enjoys the little kitchen set up in the nook area and plays chef with me. He also loves spending time at the water table pretending to fish. The staff is so kind and welcoming, making sure both kids and parents have a great experience.
