5 /5 Jashan Lodha: This is the BEST interactive college experience I have ever had! It is completely student designed and oriented and truly feels like a Disney attraction or ride with the atmospheric effects and immersive setting, it’s amazing and perfect! Not too long but it actually exceeds my expectations and the gift shop merchandise is also designed by SCAD students so everything is just better than if it was made from out-of-touch adults. The artwork and decor is also spectacular and feels like Hogwarts and the young adults there are incredibly kind and helpful with them very nicely and maturely handling our delayed tour.

5 /5 Rebekah S: This is a nice presentation of the story of SCAD, its history, and how its changed the landscape of Savannah. We arent alumni or planning to attend but still found it very interesting and a lovely stop on our trip. I would especially recommend this to those with tweens and teens as an interesting look at what higher education could be. All the guides were exceptionally friendly and the gift shop was nice. It was cool to see the things the students/school had done and put together. Considering the cost was a donation, totally worth a few minutes to check out.

5 /5 Kelly Sidney: Short, sweet, and FREE multimedia experience. Animated *think Disneyland-esque* history of the founding of the Savannah College of Art / Design. The experience is about 15-20 minutes and is great for families and folks of all ages. Highly recommend. I believe they run the show about every 20 minutes. Great for prospective students too.

Savannah Ogeechee Canal Museum and Nature Center - Savannah

Renaissanczyk: This is a beautiful sanctuary and near Nine Line Apparel and Black Rifle Coffee. Definitely check it out. Many things are pointed out and captured with complimentary signage which is nice when wondering what you are looking at. Also, the trails are well kept. Currently, April timeframe, it is caterpillar rich! You will find bundles up on bundles of them!

Savannah African Art Museum - Savannah

Deliminjoo: Thanks to our guide Jane, I had a wonderful time exploring for about an hour. It was so fun and fascinating! She knew so much about the exhibits — their meanings, when they were made, and more — and answered all my questions kindly. (I’m Korean and not very fluent in English, but she spoke clearly and slowly, which made it easy for me to understand.) Thank you so much! I highly recommend this experience!

Old Harbor Light - Savannah

Niki Ashley: The little square and the old harbour light is a sight to see. It isnt a lighthouse as a lot of people get confused. It is a beacon light for the Savannah river. It looks like an oversized street light but is still very unique and pretty. We enjoyed walking around the square with the pretty flowers and monuments remembering those that have survived in our military.

George Farah: A really cool historical fort to visit on the Georgia coast! Highly worth stopping by. If you like history and nature you will love this fort.

Skidaway Island State Park - Savannah

Sharon Billups: This park was the highlight of our trip to Savannah. We found it because my daughter is sloth obsessed and Google AI said the park has a life-size skeleton replica of a ground sloth. They have a very nice, but small nature center with several live snakes and turtles and a huge ground sloth skeleton. The playground was super fun and well maintained. We also took a two mile hike down to the river, the trails are well maintained and clearly marked. The employees were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back!

The Cathedral Basilica of St. John the Baptist - Savannah

Brownbiggy: Spiritually Stunning and Surprisingly Fun I wasn’t sure if I was walking into a cathedral or a basilica — turns out it’s both, and it’s absolutely breathtaking. The moment you step inside, the soaring ceilings, intricate stained glass, and peaceful energy just stop you in your tracks. I genuinely wasn’t prepared for how astonishing it would be. The people inside were incredibly kind and informative — not in a pushy tour-guide way, just genuinely happy to share the history and beauty of the place. They answered questions, pointed out details I would’ve missed, and made the whole experience feel personal. One highlight? I saw the baptismal pool where they actually dunk babies! I don’t know what I expected, but seeing it up close added such a human, meaningful touch to this already grand space. Whether you’re religious or just someone who appreciates art, architecture, or peaceful places, this is a must-visit in Savannah. It’s more than just a stop — it’s an experience.

Orleans Square - Savannah

Paul J. Hughes: Beautiful square with a set of several relaxing benches and a fountain surrounded by a pool. The fountain is lit internally at night. Nice selection of Dogwood and Oak trees with exceptional residential architecture on one side. This is one of 23 Savannah squares existing today. Many others feature monuments and fountains.
