Paradise Nails 2 - Carrollton (GA)

1 /5 Melissa Hollinger: I went here for a besties birthday day because it was my birthday month and because it was recommended and I was looking for a nail salon and did not like the others in the area. Upon arrival they were very polite and cordial and showed us right in, we picked out our polish and designs and they went to work. I chose a gel polish with a little flower design and white gel polish for my toes. They did the manicure and instead of allowing me to relax and enjoy it I kept having to twist and turn in the chair for him to work on my other hand, it was uncomfortable to say the least. The first pic was the day they were done last Friday 6/14/24 the last pics are the damages as of last night on 6/21/24. They felt a little flimsy when I initially got them done and I just assumed it would take a day day for them to completely harden up so moving on , I asked that they not file or not shape my nails as I had already done what I wanted before coming to the shop they did it anyways before I realized so I allowed them to continue with the rest of my nails because I didnt want them uneven, he had to redo a couple of them because the lines didnt match and were to thin. Overall I counted it as a learning curve because I was ready to go and I figured Id try somewhere else the next weekend because I was off for a polish change. I noticed on Monday 6/17/24 there were some cracks but had intended to go have a polish change on Sat 6/22/24 so I didnt worry about it to much just went about my business by Wednesday 6/ 19/24 they had begun to chip and peel. I work in healthcare and wash my hands frequently however this has NEVER been a problem with any other manicure Ive ever had with gel polish as the week continued the complete peeled and cracked causing my nails to break and crack. I am extremely unhappy with this and will not be going back. Below are the pics to go with it my nails are awful and I will be cutting them back completely to restart the process of growing them out again.

1 /5 Nicole Thomas: my daughter went for a pedicure 11/23/24 which was yesterday she reached out to them. No one would answer or respond, but she received a chemical burn during her pedicure process. go there at your own risk. We will continue to reach out and get this matter rectified

1 /5 Carter Hemmingway: I’ve gone here for 5 years. I have seen management changes and people come and go so I feel like this review is very much needed and one that can be really useful when considering this place. The technicians (at least the ones from the last two years) are usually nice but the quality is severely lacking. It’s typically only with manicures and full sets. The quality is VERY hit (10%) or VERY miss (90% of the time). Pedicures are usually good. They never show prices (except for pedicures) so that’s always annoying and honestly unfair. I go for the same thing and one time it’ll be $60 and others it’ll be $80 and then randomly $50. The really amazing technicians never last. Joe was the last one that I would actually wait for (with no problem because he was THAT good) for over an hour at a time. Idk what is going on but I think I’m officially hanging up the towel on this place. Other nail salons in Carrollton that I’ve tried are also in this category but severely worse in my experience. I’m just going to learn to do my own nails at this point or travel outside of town. I hope that necessary corrections can be made for their own sake. I don’t want to see them fail but I’m also tired of ripping off nails that I’ve spent $80 for because the quality is THAT bad.

5 /5 Shelby Adams: I’ve been here 3 times and I’ve had great experiences every time. I’ve have pedicures and manicures all done by different people and they did great! I don’t have much experience in going to nail salons, but the price was good for what I got and my nails look great. Loved the hot rocks!
