1 /5 just remember: My experience at Motor Man Automotive has been an absolute nightmare and a horrific experience. It started when I contacted him for transmission line repairs on my older vehicle. The mechanic, eager to take on the job initially, quickly changed his stance. Despite my willingness to pay extra, the mechanic decided not to continue with the repairs. He then irresponsibly moved my van and parked it without my consent on a busy road, close to a yellow fire hydrant right outside his shop. This led to a disastrous mistake: while parking, he struck the hydrant. The damage to my van was severe. The hydrants sharp edge tore into the fiberglass and the door. It took considerable effort on my part to uncover what happened. The yellow paint from the hydrant on my van, coupled with the white paint from my van on the hydrant, was clear evidence of the collision. I called the police to report this, but they didnt show up to inspect, leaving me without their assistance. When I tried to get help from other mechanics in the area to review camera footage or acknowledge the damage, no one was willing to assist. It wasnt until I connected with a local guy named JR that I could piece everything together. He helped me understand that the accident with the yellow fire hydrant was the cause of the damage. JR also pointed out that I should look at my receipt The receipt he gave me also was faulty his name or nor the business was on the receipt which made it more challenging for me when it comes to taking legal action the amount of unprofessionalism is simply unbearable when it comes to dealing with Motor Man I confronted motor man, about it led nowhere; he denied everything. After our initial discussion, he began ignoring my calls, exacerbating the already difficult situation. Furthermore, he lost the transmission dipstick during his inspection, forcing me to pay an additional $100 for a hard-to-find replacement. Because its an older model and its considered to be a vintage replacement the dipstick ended up been $100 Plus shipping Dealing with Motor Man Automotive has been deeply disappointing and regretful. his lack of professionalism and refusal to acknowledge the damage he caused has led me to pursue legal action,

1 /5 W S (Charger Girl): This is long but I have to include every detail of the nightmare dealing with this shop! Mind you, I had no check engine light on nor any other problems with my car before I took it to Mr. Lowe. I should have known not to leave it with him when he didn’t even realize my car was AWD, even with the badge on my trunk. In January 2025, I took my car in to see where an oil leak was coming from. We initially thought it was a faulty tranny oil pan, which he replaced the year earlier. He changed it again at that time but oil continued to leak. He finally found the real problem which was oil leaking from the engine. I had him repair that (even though he cut my exhaust pipes and wasnt going to tell me). My Service AWD light would come on occasionally when I made hard turns at high speeds then it would immediately go back off. He suggested I replace the speed sensors. I bought those and he replaced them. Picked up my car but the check engine light was still on and now the driveshaft started to shake at 40-50 mph. So, I had to bring it back again to get the light off and fix the driveshaft. During that time, he told me my CV axles needed to be replaced so I let him do that. Picked up my car, check engine light still on and heard grinding noises coming from my tires. Immediately took it back and he quickly fixed the noise but the check engine light was still on and my driveshaft still shook. He couldn’t figure out why the check engine light was on so he took it to a Dodge dealership. They told me I needed all my O2 sensors changed, which I knew wasn’t true because I HAD NO CHECK ENGINE LIGHT ON before he touched my car. He replaced two O2 sensors with OEM ones at his expense. He got the new driveshaft but didn’t know he had to take the cap off the bolt to install it. More time wasted. Then, in April 2025, I picked up my car for the last time and the check engine light was finally off but the driveshaft continued to shake. That next day, I’m in stop-and-go street traffic and all of a sudden, my Service AWD light comes on, flashing rapidly between that and the PRND display. Then I hear a “thunk,” the check engine light comes back on and the car just stopped moving forward. It kept throwing the tranny back in P when I tried to drive it so when I throw it D or N gear, it would only move a foot at a time. How embarrassing and scary! Thank goodness I wasn’t on the freeway! So I’m stranded miles from home and had to get a tow to my home. I then tow it to AAMCO because it was clearly a tranny issue, which I had no problems with before I took my car to Mr. Lowe. I asked AAMCO to call him to see what exactly he had done to my car and the tech said he got a little loud with him for whatever reason. It cost me thousand to repair a previously perfectly good tranny! He clearly didn’t know what he was doing with my car but continued to take my money and waste his and my time. This all took 4 months and my car is worse off than when I dropped it off to him! I left it for weeks at a time due to traveling out of state but still had to wait after he said he was done with my car. He might be good with other vehicles but keep your Charger far away from him!
