Juanshe Horton I did not feel as though it was about my car care here. I was referred by a loyal customer and I didnt get the best service. Spent over 600.00 for oil change and tuneup. After oil change check engine light came on. Brought back said they forgot to hook something up on air filter. Two months later getting tires service Im told needed air filter and engine cabin filter. Told by this place engine cabin wasnt included w tune up but couldnt tell me what was done for 500 bucks. Didnt even top off fluids or put windshield fluid in. Now check engine light is on again and its something to do w air. Was told probably didnt hook it back up correctly. Call them they say will put another filter in but I come and they show me filter and say dont need it because its clean. To much money stress for car not to operate correctly. After tuneup car seems as thou illed up to high but they dont want to assist. This place didnt make me feel as a wanted customer. They are just here for money. You can get oil change for40 bucks I wouldnt recommend this company

Joy Anderson I had my vehicle towed to this repair shop. I feel as though I got high quality service. I am very satisfied with the repairs that were made to my vehicle. I will be returning here for the basic maintenance on my vehicle. Four stars because they were pricey but Im not a mechanic so the price may have been competitive. I do believe that you get what you pay for. Overall, I m happy with the service.

Regina John I had very high expectations of this repair shop. Perhaps because they are specialist with Hondas. I had my vehicle towed in because of transmission issues. I had oil and power steering leaks as well. I thought, if you take your vehicle to a specialist. They would specialize in resolving your issues and or giving you a Definite idea of what is wrong with your car. After being more than patient, and waiting two months for my vehicle I finally received it. My car definitely runs great! Regarding the transmission issue and oil leaks. However, one of my main concerns. Is the power steering leaking and now that I have it back home, after only having it for one day it is parked due to power steering fluid leaking from the rack. They suggested that its perhaps just power steering leaks. From the hoses. This would be my biggest argument!! if youre taking your car to a Specialist there should have been a definite answer regarding the rack and pinion.. I called Avondale, to inform them of the issue and spoke with Sammy. I was supposed to get a call back. And as of today, its been over a month and still no call. Once again highly disappointed! But I guess. Customer service isnt what it used to be either.

Kathryn Kelly I bought my first Honda around 1985 and began having it serviced at Avondale Independent. For that Honda accord, my subsequent 1996 Accord and my current 2008 CRV, the wonderful folks at Avondale Independent have kept those cars going with first quality work and reasonable prices. I have recommended Dave and now his son Tyler to all my friends and they are now all happy to be taking their cars to Avondale Independent. I always know Avondale Independent will go the extra mile to help me out in a pinch and on a regular basis, make sure my oil changes and check ups are done with care. I think I will give up car ownership and just use Uber if Avondale Independent ever closes shop

Akiff Virani The actuator that was installed is faulty, plus they never installed a water shield back to cover the electrical part. Now I have to pay extra for someone else to do the job and i had to but the water shield. Brake replacement was also bad. I wont recommend the place. Technician: Aaqil.

The customer service was top-notch, and I truly appreciated how honest they were with me about what my car actually needed. This was a refreshing change from another shop just up the street, where I used to go—one that seemed to take advantage of women by suggesting unnecessary repairs. That experience taught me how important it is to find a reputable, trustworthy shop, and Lextech of Atlanta in Decatur, Ga off of Dekalb Industrial Way is exactly that. It was my first visit, but definitely not my last!

Jocelyn Lang Service was amazing. I have a Tires Plus (Buckhead) conveniently located near me that I refuse to patronize because they will hustle me and tell me I need services I don’t need. This is my first experience with LexTechs. Devon was SO patient and explained things so thoroughly- and my issue was rather complex. They even have a drop box for keys for after hours drop off and pick up. I intend to have all of my services provided here moving forward.

just remember My experience at Motor Man Automotive has been an absolute nightmare and a horrific experience. It started when I contacted him for transmission line repairs on my older vehicle. The mechanic, eager to take on the job initially, quickly changed his stance. Despite my willingness to pay extra, the mechanic decided not to continue with the repairs. He then irresponsibly moved my van and parked it without my consent on a busy road, close to a yellow fire hydrant right outside his shop. This led to a disastrous mistake: while parking, he struck the hydrant. The damage to my van was severe. The hydrants sharp edge tore into the fiberglass and the door. It took considerable effort on my part to uncover what happened. The yellow paint from the hydrant on my van, coupled with the white paint from my van on the hydrant, was clear evidence of the collision. I called the police to report this, but they didnt show up to inspect, leaving me without their assistance. When I tried to get help from other mechanics in the area to review camera footage or acknowledge the damage, no one was willing to assist. It wasnt until I connected with a local guy named JR that I could piece everything together. He helped me understand that the accident with the yellow fire hydrant was the cause of the damage. JR also pointed out that I should look at my receipt The receipt he gave me also was faulty his name or nor the business was on the receipt which made it more challenging for me when it comes to taking legal action the amount of unprofessionalism is simply unbearable when it comes to dealing with Motor Man I confronted motor man, about it led nowhere; he denied everything. After our initial discussion, he began ignoring my calls, exacerbating the already difficult situation. Furthermore, he lost the transmission dipstick during his inspection, forcing me to pay an additional $100 for a hard-to-find replacement. Because its an older model and its considered to be a vintage replacement the dipstick ended up been $100 Plus shipping Dealing with Motor Man Automotive has been deeply disappointing and regretful. his lack of professionalism and refusal to acknowledge the damage he caused has led me to pursue legal action,

He was not only very professional, but also super friendly and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. Barry Mccrimmon I had a frustrating experience with Precision Tune starting on March 29 when I took my car in to have the radiator replaced. A couple of days later, I noticed some bolts were missing under the hood, and it turned out my alternator also needed replacing. After seeing the shoddy work, I decided to take my business elsewhere for the alternator repair. I returned to Precision Tune to address the mistakes they made. The manager, Randy, was okay at first and started putting bolts on my car, but some of the missing ones had to be ordered from Ford. He said they would be in soon, but there continued to be problems. On my third visit, I was told that some brackets were also stripped during the radiator replacement and those needed to be ordered too; they’d supposedly arrive in a week. Fast forward to June, and after multiple promises and lies from Randy and James, the owner, I’m still waiting for the parts. When I spoke to James, he came off as really cocky and didn’t seem to care about the delays or my concerns. Overall, I felt very disappointed with the service and lack of communication. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them if you want your car fixed right the first time go somewhere else. $1000.00 paid and they wanted another $1000.00 to replace my alternator take your business elsewhere and have it done right the first time and not be scammed.

They do not have good customer service, and the job was done incorrectly but they had no concerns with fixing the problem. They are very rude and i would never go to the auto servi e again. I suggest you find someone with a better price and better work.

CutThaCheck Music First and foremost, there is a language barrier. Mike will say yes to a question or statement without fully knowing. I brung my car to get serviced, only to check back hours later and be told they needed more time. Cool. I check back hours later before they close, still no luck. Once I finally got Mike on the phone he still needed time. I then told him I’d need my car and I would bring it back Tuesday since it’s St. Patrick’s day Monday. Here I am the next day (Saturday) and the shop is closed, my car is still locked up and I will not be paying any requested fee. Especially after I said on the phone I was in route to pick up my car and drop back off Tuesday. Smh NEVER AGAIN!

My car was running hot and instead of checking to see if it’s my thermostat/thermostat housing they literally just pops the hood and looked and said I needed a brand new motor, I took it to another mechanic and they told me it was because my thermostat housing was cracked and not I’m not having no problems, they just want money here don’t want to figure out the real issues

Someone was going in front of me but the lady behind desk should have acknowledged me when I came in building that she would be right with me when she was done with customer in front of me.

Caroline Malone They said be there at 7 am. They didnt show up til 7:15. Told us last Wed. they could fix my car first thing Monday. Man who said that was not there Monday. The guy there was rude and said leave it, it may be a week before they look at it. Poor customer. I can see why they are so far behind.

In 60 years of owning cars hes the finest Ive ever dealt with. Chains and Mercedes dealers wanted $185-$200 just to run diagnostics to determine why my hatch was stuck closed. With common sense and some internet help whole issue solved and without replacing the hatch assist motor. Five stars ***** to my new friend whos also a retired combat veteran. Jason Im Had a low coolant warning sign so I visited the place in case there’s any leak. Luckily, there was no leaks. He checked the whole parts and refilled the coolant for free! Lovely man and I recommend him all day

So So I came to 24 Hour Decatur Auto Care to have the front brake pads on my Hyundai Sonata replaced. The service was excellent as soon as I arrived, I was greeted right away and quickly directed to where I needed to go. Everything was handled smoothly and professionally. Was charged $60 via zelle

Cecilia Hernandez More than angry Im so sad, my feelings are truly hurt. I was in Georgia exploring from North Carolina. I mustve went over a nail or whatever, but I went to them cause they were the closest when I noticed how flat my tire was. I shoulda known when they told it would be 20 cash no questions asked. I wanted to trust it was one of those quick places in the hood that knew what to do. This old man got my tire off with an electric screw driver (I had never seen that before) and I saw him just starring at it and the tire was on the floor the whole time. Anyway I was rushed to move out of the sun and go sit that they knew what they were doing. Im no car expert but I wanted to see what they were doing just to be aware of what the issue was. I went and sat down, but was still looking from afar and saw him spray it with a disinfectant and wiping it. Like, what??? I still decided to trust them and not say anything. Well 10mins later he said "im done" I said are you sure its going to take me to NC with no issues and he was dismissive and what just say ohhh yeah yeah! I was like ok and he literally begged for a tip I gave him 10 extra. Im so mad I did cause I learned I paid him for air 30 damn dollars for air. My tire was the same way it was 4hrs later. I ended taking it to an actual shop and my tire literally had 3 different air ways it the air was escaping from. I could have saved time, most importantly. Avoid this trifling ash "shop"

Ryan Richards After a warranty repair claim was denied, they repaired my vehicle without my consent sticking me with the bill. They never called to communicate with me on the status of my vehicle. I had to call them on two occasions to find this out. Shady business practice!!! Beware!

Tabitha James I called ahead for the pricing and they were very kind and upfront with what kind of oil I needed and the cost. Once I arrived they moved quickly to get my car taken care of. He even made sure to let me know I needed a new tire. Without his warning I would have been on the side of the road by the end of the day. So I’m beyond grateful for that. My favorite thing about my visit would be the quiet and spacious waiting area. As a woman, getting my car serviced has always felt like a really nerve wrecking thing. But this experience was so smooth and peaceful . I will definitely be back.
