    dee muney: If you are looking for your car to be fixed in a timely and affordable manner then this is not the shop for you. I brung my car to Horace after I was feeling a very aggressive vibration from my car during acceleration. The older mechanic said that it was a engine mount although I told him based on what I have been reading online people were saying they feel a similar vibration from worn out cv axles on that specific car (Lexus es 350). However he ensured me that it was not the axle and it was 2 motor mounts and one transmission mount that needed to be replaced. He gave me a price and told me to leave my car there. 2 days go by and I receive a call saying that the repair would be $200 more than the initial price he told me. That seemed suspicious to me but giving them the benefit of the doubt I gave it to them anyway. Days go by and I don’t hear from them. I call them and they say they are busy and will call me back shortly. They end up not calling back so I give them a call the next day. They said that O’Riley is giving them the run around for parts and that they should have it within the next two days. You can probably guess what happens next. 3 days go by and the car is still not ready. Out of curiosity I drove by the shop during business hours to see that no one is there. About 5 days later the car is ready and they have the audacity to ask for more money after they already changed the agreed on price before. The worst part is that the problem was still there. Heavy vibration after acceleration from a stop. I call the older mechanic and he tells me to bring the car by to take a look. By the time I get there he is working on someone’s brakes and tells me to come the next day. He continues to give me the run around the following day and I decide that he may not be competent enough to handle this matter. One thing I forgot to mention is that he left my entire car filthy somehow, even the backseat which he had no reason to be in whatsoever. After taking my car to a more qualified mechanic he drove the car down the road for 30 seconds and was instantly able to tell me that my car needed new cv axles which is what I told the mechanic at Horace auto from the beginning. All in all if you want your car done In a timely manner to save you from buying Ubers, taking public transportation, or even walking please stay away from this shop. They will leave your car with the same problems it’s had before or possibly even worse ones, all while leaving you without transportation for days maybe even weeks on end.

    Derek Gary Jr.: Ill be honest this place, the team, and its staff are life savers, literally. The story: Im active duty military and long story short I was trying to pcs and ship my vehicle, the emergency brakes needed to be replaced to have it shipped and I ended up running into a nightmare w/ trying to have shops replace them because the shops will say theyre knowledgeable with replacing brakes (shoes, drums, rotors, caliber etc) but are only knowledgeable about rotors or pads and sometimes not even that, being that I left the original place not only with my vehicle making a rubbing noise on the brakes but the E brakes not even working smh. So then I found this place called them had a same day appointment and not only the they fix the brakes, plus the bs work previously done but also gave me a Military discount on top of essentially hanging out and showing how to do the job myself the whole time. Because im a certified audi mechanic prior to the military but I know nothing about drum breaks or carburetor because those thing arent in use much these days. And this is why im leaving this lengthy review because these guy gave me a fair price for the parts and the labor n they actually dont just replace things they fix em and its a huge difference. My only regret is that I didnt find them sooner.

    Shaun Golden: I usually try to promote black owned businesses, especially being one myself. I pride myself on being patient, and trying to be understanding when it comes to getting swamped with customers. With that being said, I really hate having to say that I seriously discourage anyone from bringing their vehicle to this establishment. I had my sons car towed to this place at the end of Feb 2022, and they gave us the run around for over a month. Today is April 11, 2022, and the car is still not fixed. The car has sat so long, as you can see in the picture, the tire has gone flat. Im having to get it towed again to another shop. They only have one (1) mechanic, and customer service is horrible. Do not, I repeat DO NOT take your car to this place. If you do, youre doing so at your own risk!
