  • What Clients Are Saying about Heritage Park - mcdonough (on GG)
3 /5 Let’s tell somebody about Jesus Dale Henderson: Baseball fields were unkempt, bathrooms were not clean and no paper products. All the time there were several Henry County employees sitting around doing nothing. Perfect Game Baseball should reconsider ever using this facility again.
5 /5 Becky Wheeler: Nice little playground for our kids, and a cool trail through the woods that leads to another little playground up the hill. Kids loved it! Also a nice, large pavilion with seats and tables. Bathrooms also available.
5 /5 Aidan Astin: A nice park with a lot of of history. We visited outside of their normal business hours, but we’re still able to see the decommissioned steam train, helicopter, and the POW/MIA veterans memorial. The memorial is tasteful, touching, as well as informative. definitely would be on my list of things to do if you’re in the area. There is also a playground for the little ones.
5 /5 LuckyWife78: Very nice place to take a walk around. Lots of gardens, military history. Theres an old med-vac helicopter and an old train.

Perry Historical Museum
Courtney Crawford: Small museum containing local history, information, and artifacts. The nice man who works there gave us so much interesting information about the contents of the museum and the area. The museum is located in an old house and has some themed rooms such as a kitchen, a school room, and a military history room. A lot of the contents are donations from locals. If you want to get a taste for the local Perry area then give this museum a visit!

Emptynesters Travels: Has some walking trails, disc golf course, very nice updated playground, tennis courts. There’s a community center too but I’ve never been inside that. There is a pond as well. Just be careful to not accidentally throw your discs in!
The Dogg Pound - Ocilla
Tracey M. Cox: Crazy setup during Halloween. Every night people drive by to see it. It is well worth the trip! Cant wait to see it this year!!!

Kevin Edwards: The wife and i got out of the house for a morning walk and this park was a very nice place to do so. The only down side was the fact that since the ducks are permanent residents there you might want to watch every step you take, lol. You would think that the city would have a little more responsibility in keeping the park clean, but besides that the park is pretty nice.
Braselton Amphitheater -
Manuela Vasquez: Good place for kids, and also braselton organice activities in this place, is really nice , follow in facebook the city for the incoming activities

Atkinson Shea (dedncide): Great place to come get some peace. Quiet trails and great spot for a picnic or BBQ. River nearby for swimming, but mind the currents. There has been several fatalities from inexperienced swimmers. Be safe and have fun.

Brian Newton: Super nice camping area! Went on the trail for about half a mile in and it was very nice down there. It was however a little washed out but still visible markings. I would like to return and hike more of the trail. You can hear trains in the distance and there are planes that fly above about ever hour or so. Overall super great experience.
