    5 /5 Brian Newton: Super nice camping area! Went on the trail for about half a mile in and it was very nice down there. It was however a little washed out but still visible markings. I would like to return and hike more of the trail. You can hear trains in the distance and there are planes that fly above about ever hour or so. Overall super great experience.
    5 /5 Rob Lacy: Nice back country trail with a few trailhead. Easy trail for beginners. Be sure to wear pants and boots if youre allergic to poison ivy. Bug juice for mosquitoes as you travel along a river and bountiful wetlands. Search the thick vegetation for wildlife.
    3 /5 Keith Johnson: The road going in is 20+ miles long through the forest. You can enter off Hwy 16 or Hwy 83. There was a forest fire and as a result a lot of burned forest with a lot of downed trees.

All levels of experience available, places to run, beautiful ravines, a confederate generals grave. An incredible set of trails, overnight camping available in multiple parking areas. Plenty of places to start the trail from. Been riding it for 26 years and gonna ride it another 26. Do not miss this trail.

    Palomar 54: If you’ve never been in a lighthouse this stop is a must. It is old but well maintained. The history is explained very well and the view from up top is incredible. There are a few stairs but there is a resting place after each of six flights. Don’t forget the views are incredible. The people working there are so nice. They explain everything so well. The price is very reasonable for all ages. The museum is small but perfect for the setting. I strongly recommend you visit the tybee light station and museum on your way to the beach. You will be impressed. And the views, wow.

    Jerry Willis: The attraction is definitely off for beaten path. You have to go looking for it. I discovered it through a magazine article and then online subscription only in Georgia. This chainsaw carved Sasquatch is a testament to those who have cystic fibrosis; it is there to bring awareness to that problem.

    Rick Kimel: Rating is really a 3.5. The lake and the cypress trees are beautiful, this place has the potential to be a 5.0, but it is thoroughly trashed. I understand the storm damage but there was trash everywhere and all of the trash cans were overflowing onto the ground. What a shame.

    Andrea Hall: First off, totally my fault for not reading all the reviews, and seeing that this trail is very very short. I walked it twice in 24min total. It took me longer to drive to the trail than it did to walk it. The trail is overgrown in a lot of places, and some of the bridges are looking pretty worn. It is a shame that this trail is named after somebody and it is not being taken care of. It could look so much better. It is ok I suppose for a very quick walk, but I personally would not bring young kids. The overgrowth and falling apart bridges are a concern.

    Patricia J: Today different organizations got together in Stubs Park to give back to the community in giving out school supplies and The VA shared informational pamphlets on suicide prevention and there was different businesses sharing on the services that they offer here in Dublin, GA. Excel Reality gave out T-shirts and shared what they had to offer to help individuals wanting to rent or buy a home. It was a beautiful day in Stubs Park and A lot of people and Businesses were helping to give back and today a lot of children were blessed with school supplies to help them be prepared for the start of the new school year.
