Brenton Shattuck: We came and stayed here for a USSSA tournament for the weekend at their campground. When we arrived, we were greeted with the most foul smelling trash that smelled like dead animals. Half of the trash bins at the campground were completely full and filled with flies and maggots from the rotting old food. Only 1 RV site was occupied with a horse trailer and that site had a lot of horse manure on it and that site was another hot fly location. The power/water set up at the park is beyond optimal and a lot of sites are suited for pull in’s than back in. There were 5+ dump stations at the park and a bathroom nearby, no showers like a traditional campground. The park I would give 4 stars, campground would be a 1 star only if it was an actual campground and nothing else. The playground at the park was nice, but someone was having a birthday party at the pavilion and the kids intentionally took cupcakes and smeared it over a lot of the playground and they left trash all over the playground and the parents had zero intentions of cleaning it up. The baseball fields are nice, they just need more concrete inside the parks to really clean it up. I guess the hurricane destroyed all of the shade over the bleachers, because there was no fabric on them covering it. All in all, it has the potential to be a top rated park, but they just need to focus a little more on what they have. Enjoy the drone pictures of the park.

Megan Grooms: Disc golf course was not bad, start is by the senior center (took us a bit to find it) hole 6&7 were a little hard to find, had to go around a building to find them. Over all fun and a nice walk.

Richard Davis: Worth the Effort. Yes - the museum is on base, but access is not an issue. And the Base Visitors Center team is BY FAR the most helpful group Ive ever dealt with when gaining access to an installation. Now for the museum... GREAT experience and quite a bit packed into a smaller building. Make a visit part of your travel plan.

HJ Cox: My hubby and I went to the Hinesville Small World Festival and I have to say, stay away from the food truck that sells Mediterranean food! It was a total garbage. We couldnt even eat the food. We had Jamaican food and chicken & waffles there before and had a great experience, but today was such a disappointment. We paid $42 and got trash! Please do not go there!

EN K: Outstanding in every way! Debbie and Tasha made checking in pleasurable with their friendly and helpful personalities! The sites on the water are spacious and offer spectacular sunset views! Kayaking and swimming from our campsite was super enjoyable! My husband and I could get our daily five mile walk by going to campground two and back! The hosts and neighboring campers were very kind and I am already looking forward to our next return!

Electriq Kitty: I was visiting Valdosta for the 1st time and in my down time I came here to take a walk. Its a pretty park, it has nice, easy paved trails and its clean. However- I was fairly concerned at the thought of someone in the woods with an air rifle. Seeing that promptly ended my walk.
