Deanna blume: Front window lady was loud and rude. Kept insisting my insurance was no good. After standing and called in front of her and providing the proof. She spoke with an insurance agent over the phone to make sure, only thing insurance was trying to tell her was to re submit it and they will pay. (Come to find out the office enter wrong address ) But continue to be loud and rude , arguing on the phone. Totally unnecessary!!!!! . ( Other wise rest of office and staff were amazing) Very clean and no wait time.

Traceartography Deaton: Dishonest practice! They told me I had $2000 in dental insurance available to me that would cover the crown I needed. On a visit they prepped my tooth for a crown, but when I went in for the crown they gave me an $1,800 bill and said they wouldn’t put the crown on unless I paid the $1,800 that day. Not what they had told me. I called many times and no one ever called me back. Communication is nonexistent. DO NOT TRUST THIS OFFICE. THEY ARE CON ARTIST. Absolutely NO customer service and they will straight up lie to you. My tooth that they prepped has since fallen out…I have one less tooth because of this absolute joke of a dental office.

day rogue: This facility charges for procedures and doesnt do a good job fixing the problem. And the staff is unprofessional. Attitude all the time and will ignore your problems.
Dr. William M. Jopling, DMD - Thomson
Suzanne Martin: This dental practice is excellent. The staff were welcoming, the location is easy to find, and the office was very clean and inviting. My hygienist, Hilary, was top notch - very knowledgeable, experienced, and so very nice and thorough. They were on time for my appointment, they confirmed the day before, and quickly set my follow-up visits. I highly recommend this practice.

Ken McDonald: Outstanding dental practice! All staff members who assisted with my crown repair were friendly, professional and caring. They worked me into their very busy schedule and work performed was exceptional. I couldnt be more pleased. All services received to date, both regular and emergency, have been outstanding. We moved out of the area a year ago but will gladly drive the extra distance to stay with Harlem Family Dental.

the omni Degenerate: TLDR The reviews about needing to double check your bills and coverage as well as no sense of expediency are absolutely correct unfortunately, there is a character limit. I wish I could go into more details so I guess I’ll just give the super ultra TLDR first of all I am somebody who usually gives the utmost respect to healthcare and service individuals because of the number of crap they have to deal with. With that being said, this experience was incompetence Just recently despite having all of my medical information, including my Medicaid card and everything else and confirming that they did have it, they still have now twice tried to bill me a $100 co-pay. I had to call their billing department and get that sorted out that’s what most recently led to me leaving this review but since I am here I should also mention a few months ago I went in for what I thought was a heart attack. Luckily, it turned out to just be a flareup of a Tachycardia issue I have. but at the time I didn’t know that. so I went in and there was no one else in the lobby. They were by no means busy whatsoever despite that I spent roughly 20 to 30 minutes in the lobby another 20 to 30 minutes in the room And I didn’t finally have my issue addressed with a EKG or saline bag which I had already requested the moment, I walked in the door (The saline bag is for my tachycardia condition as I also considered that was a possibility ) until nearly an hour and a half later The reviews that say this place requires you to double check your bills and that they also have no sense of urgency are absolutely correct Thank God it wasn’t an actual heart attack because if it was, I would’ve coded right there in the lobby floor before even being seen Here’s how it should actually work if someone comes in complaining of a heart issue or attack (assuming you have any staff free, which is place absolutely did) They should basically be immediately tagged to come out grab you and run an EKG at the very minimum immediately and then to get those results to a doctor as soon as possible. on top of that if someone like me who knows that a saline bag could help their condition (if it turns out that’s what it was, which it did by the way) then that should be given almost immediately as well again after the EKG (or whatever other needed test although in my case there were none ) confirms or rules out a heart attack as I know that can get complicated If you give it before you know what’s going on. (and honestly, I’m focusing on heart attacks here, but this should probably be the case for any medical suspected condition that can lead to very quick or sudden death) How do I know this? Because it’s how I was treated by a far more competent hospital three or four years ago. Who by the way was exponentially more busy as I think this was near Covid time and the waiting room was completely packed in that hospital. compared to this one that again…was completely empty. If this is how I was treated, I would’ve been in and out within 30 minutes to an hour instead I spent nearly 2 or three there total. And judging by the other replies, I’m fairly certain somebody who works there we’ll see this. And to be fair, the heart attack thing happened like back in December. So maybe they have already updated their policies to account for it. But what they have not updated and need to as well is an official policy that their billers or receptionist or whoever it is knows to double check. and bill FIRST the insurance company as well as Medicare and Medicaid BEFORE ever asking for a co-pay from the patient, they were so in a rush to get a co-pay for me. I hadn’t even seen the doctor yet!!! That’s right I got my co-pay before I even got my meds… Jesus guys.
