C&L Performance and Auto Repair - Waycross Lee Christian “crissy”: This shop is crooked. I paid them over $4000 to replace my transmission In November 2024. They told me they would put a new transmission in my vehicle. Have a 18 month warranty. On June 10 2025 it started slipping again So the morning of June 11, I took it to the shop. That was not there that day so the owner Carl Moore took care of my issues. They checked my mileage and the codes that my vehicle was throwing and said I indeed needed a new transmission. They informed me that they would call American transmission and try to order me a new one, but American transmission to their shop to replace it. I waited two weeks and had not heard anything back, but assume my transmission was on the way. Finally, on June 25, I called them back because it had been exactly 2 weeks and I have not heard anything. At that time they informed me That they had forgotten to call American transmissions and they also forgot what my mileage was and what my codes were could I please bring a vehicle back to them. Even though this was an inconvenience, I obliged and promptly headed to the shop. They scanned my vehicle again, but then told me there was nothing they could do. My mileage was 114 miles over the warranties covered miles. When I brought up to them that they were supposed to order the transmission two weeks ago, Carl Moore, who is the owner yelled at me and told me that it was my fault because I had continued to drive it. I will be taking them to court.
