    Kurt Pieper: Mitch was excellent in helping me keep my 2010 Lexus RX350 running smoothly, and in tip top shape. Ive used True Automotive many times and always appreciate the cleanliness of the waiting area, that they always keep my appointment on time, and make sure to get me out as quickly as possible. Mitch was very thorough in showing me via pictures as well as explaining to me on what needs to be done moving forward so I know what to expect in the future. I will be returning again and again. These guys are truly top notch. Highly recommended!

    Sheena Smith: Decatur Auto pro, use to be a great place to take your car a few years ago, now I wouldn’t recommend. This year my car was serviced twice, back in March they first quoted me a price which I agreed with then went in and did some extra stuff without asking and charge 600 more than what we agreed, of course that was disputed with the manager. They stated it was some leaks in the hose and they repair but found another leak . When the vehicle got home, I noticed smoke from the muffler, now fast forward, to July 1, my car is overheating all I needed was a coolant reservoir. They state that was not the problem I have a gasket leak. My car was running fine when I dropped it off, I can drive down 85 without an issue. when I picked it up because I wanted a second opinion, my car will barely drive off the lot or handle back roads or go above 30 mph, it’s shaking and have some type of fume burning. This is all new from when I dropped it off. Steve stated because I have a leak it will get worse but why did my worse start at the shop. Please don’t go here, I was charged for a diagnostic test and out of a car less than 24 hours of dropping it off at Decatur Auto Pro. I don’t do many reviews but please try another shop.

    chelsea sowers: I had a deeply disappointing experience at Decatur Auto Tech, and I feel it’s important to share. I brought in my 2008 Mazda Miata for a few specific issues, including a non-working cigarette lighter. I was quoted $90 for a basic adapter—far above normal pricing. After I questioned it, they agreed to reduce the charge by $60, but only knocked off $30 in the final bill. More frustratingly, part of the reason I agreed to the repair was their assurance that it would restore connectivity to my stereo. It didn’t. When I brought this to their attention, their response was dismissive and unprofessional—essentially telling me “tough luck,” with no attempt to stand by their work. They also performed services I never explicitly authorized, and only informed me of a $60 increase in the cooling fan price after the work had begun—leaving me with no meaningful opportunity to make an informed decision. What’s worse, I couldn’t shake the feeling that I was being taken advantage of as a woman. The way I was spoken to, disregarded, and overcharged raised red flags that I believe many women will unfortunately recognize. It was condescending and exploitative. Between the inconsistent pricing, unauthorized work, failed repairs, and dismissive behavior, I left feeling unheard and taken advantage of. I won’t be returning—and I urge others, especially women, to proceed with caution.

    Regina John: I had very high expectations of this repair shop. Perhaps because they are specialist with Hondas. I had my vehicle towed in because of transmission issues. I had oil and power steering leaks as well. I thought, if you take your vehicle to a specialist. They would specialize in resolving your issues and or giving you a Definite idea of what is wrong with your car. After being more than patient, and waiting two months for my vehicle I finally received it. My car definitely runs great! Regarding the transmission issue and oil leaks. However, one of my main concerns. Is the power steering leaking and now that I have it back home, after only having it for one day it is parked due to power steering fluid leaking from the rack. They suggested that its perhaps just power steering leaks. From the hoses. This would be my biggest argument!! if youre taking your car to a Specialist there should have been a definite answer regarding the rack and pinion.. I called Avondale, to inform them of the issue and spoke with Sammy. I was supposed to get a call back. And as of today, its been over a month and still no call. Once again highly disappointed! But I guess. Customer service isnt what it used to be either.

    Ebosetale Ikheloa: Highly reputable and trustworthy shop! I came in for a second opinion due to a squeaking noise whenever I drove with the AC on. Summit quickly identified the issue as a worn suspension belt and were able to order the necessary parts to arrive before an upcoming trip. They quoted me five times less than another mechanic I had previously seen. I truly trust them with any car concerns now. I just wish I had discovered them sooner—before my move!
