  • What Clients Are Saying about Big Springs Park (on GG)
4 /5 Queen Esined: The walking trails are very clean and spacious, making for a pleasant nature walk surrounded by lush greenery.
4 /5 Jessica Sullivan: Needs some love. The “water drain” at the bridge could be made so much prettier. But the playground was cool. Orthopaedic climbing, a lot of mechanics.. there is a pavilion and a baby play area also. Much smaller than I expected. But any park is better than no park!
5 /5 Christiana Norsworthy: We had our wedding ceremony here as the court house no longer performs ceremonies. It was a cloudy day but our photographer (Sarah Nichols Photography in McDonough) was great and the photos and ceremony turned out beautifully.
5 /5 Ell C.: This is the best park Ive ever been to. My 14 month old son was able to freely roam and play with all if the different equipment. This park features musical instruments that are designed as play equipment that totally engages every kid out there. The other side of the park has a nice soft cork ground, so when babies or kids or fall they wont hurt themselves. This is the most thoughtful and well-planned park Ive ever been to.

Emptynesters Travels: Has some walking trails, disc golf course, very nice updated playground, tennis courts. There’s a community center too but I’ve never been inside that. There is a pond as well. Just be careful to not accidentally throw your discs in!

Tracey M. Cox: Crazy setup during Halloween. Every night people drive by to see it. It is well worth the trip! Cant wait to see it this year!!!

Kevin Edwards: The wife and i got out of the house for a morning walk and this park was a very nice place to do so. The only down side was the fact that since the ducks are permanent residents there you might want to watch every step you take, lol. You would think that the city would have a little more responsibility in keeping the park clean, but besides that the park is pretty nice.

Manuela Vasquez: Good place for kids, and also braselton organice activities in this place, is really nice , follow in facebook the city for the incoming activities

Pamela B: A very peaceful park with a creek flowing through. It is an ideal spot to spend the day hiking, picnicking, and just simply enjoying nature. You can also sample the spring water flowing inside the stone house. I really enjoyed my visit to Indian Springs State Park.

Atkinson Shea (dedncide): Great place to come get some peace. Quiet trails and great spot for a picnic or BBQ. River nearby for swimming, but mind the currents. There has been several fatalities from inexperienced swimmers. Be safe and have fun.

Brian Newton: Super nice camping area! Went on the trail for about half a mile in and it was very nice down there. It was however a little washed out but still visible markings. I would like to return and hike more of the trail. You can hear trains in the distance and there are planes that fly above about ever hour or so. Overall super great experience.

Christy Wilmont: Very remote area for a nice little day trip. Fishing, photo ops, and kayaking. There are walking trails but they looked rugged to me. There is a spot where you can walk down on the rocks by the water.
