5 /5 Ricardo Trujillo: Im not sure whats going on with so much negative reviews to this place! Ive been here several times the last few months and they keep surprising me and my family. They have a new menu with classic and authentic mexican food. And the drink menu is just as perfect. I tried the Mrs. Jamaica and I swear its one of the best margs that Ive ever tried. Please dont be discouraged by seeing these negative reviews about the food and give a try to this place. You wont regret it! Kudos to Jonathan and Lucy for being such great workers.

5 /5 Alex Gonzalez: Luna del Rio Canton is a total hidden gem. The fresh margaritas are perfectly balanced tangy, smooth, and seriously refreshing. But the real star? The melted pineapple warm, juicy, and packed with tropical flavor. Pair the two and you’ve got a taste of paradise. Highly recommend! They are open on Monday’s which was surprising because most of the mill businesses are closed. Very good Mexican restaurant with so many good options food and drinks wise.

5 /5 Heather Upchurch: I’ve been wanting to go to Luna Del Rio for a few years now, and I finally had the opportunity to visit while celebrating some dear friends birthdays — and let me just say, it was so worth the wait! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was just as amazing — warm, inviting, and perfect for a long, celebratory evening. We were there for hours, and it never once felt rushed or uncomfortable. A special shoutout to our server, Danny, who was incredibly attentive and made sure we were well taken care of the entire time. The entire staff was friendly and welcoming, adding to what was already a fantastic experience. Also worth noting: the prices were very reasonable, especially considering the quality of both the food and the service — nothing felt inflated or overpriced. Highly recommend Luna Del Rio, whether you’re celebrating something special or just looking for a great night out!

1 /5 August Reaves: We visited on a very slow evening and unfortunately the experience didn’t meet expectations. Despite the light crowd, several menu items were unavailable, which immediately limited options. Service was exceptionally slow. Appetizers — queso, guacamole, and salsa verde — took approximately 45 minutes to arrive and were delivered at the same time as the main courses, eliminating any sense of pacing. The dips themselves were underwhelming: the queso tasted generic, the salsa lacked depth and flavor, and portions were quite small for the price. The main dishes were acceptable, but not strong enough to compensate for the delays and overall execution issues. Attention to timing, freshness, and basic hospitality seemed inconsistent throughout the visit. With better management and kitchen coordination, this restaurant could improve significantly. As it stands, there are stronger options in the area that provide a more reliable dining experience
