Chrystal Michie Mikel has always cut my hair perfect! It is very clean and I felt safe, they are above and beyond with the restrictions due to covid19 ♥️

LAURA JOHNSON Finally found somebody that would do manicures and pedicures by an actual appointment. None of this going into a salon that has 15 people lined up before you even get to see somebody. Anita Sims did a wonderful job. Definitely going back and putting myself on a regular schedule with her. Highly recommend!!! And Med Spa takes both cash or credit card... lots of different people that do a lot of different things, from haircuts to waxing, manicures pedicures etc etc. Updated November 2023. There are up charges on using a credit card.

Ahyana Arnold Services did not meet expectations for the price paid. Does not produce quality work, so I did not want to have my nails redone by this person.

Deniah Young I will not be returning to this nail salon. This was my first time trying them and the man did not ask me what i wanted he did what he thought “looked best”. My nails did not turn out as I expected so I talked to the manager, He said he would fix it and then walked out the door. He came back in and got straight on his phone. The lady who “fixed them” decided to paint over my nails, he used powder instead of gel. They claim they could not fix my shape because of what the man did to begin with. Therefore I am not coming back.

Kayla Davis This probably was the worst pedicure I’ve ever had! I went in with my daughter and it was a young guy who did my pedicure and he was finish in 20 minutes. He acted as if I was bothering him and he didn’t have the time. The pedicure was awful and the paint job was even worst. The older gentleman that worked on my daughter did a good job on her, but I explained my concerns to him and he had no type of rebuttal. I will definitely never return to this establishment!!!

Ashyanni Talabes If there was an option to give them zero stars I would. For starters I told the man working in there that I wanted short square nails. They were more of an almond shape and the polish was all over my cuticles. Then I went back the next day because they were about to close the day he did them and asked him to make them more square and they still weren’t up to par. So I asked him if I can get them soaked off and he claimed he didn’t do that. I continued to explain to him that I don’t recall him giving me a receipt and may I take a picture of his copy. He proceeding to hide the receipts and told me no. I paid $50 for the nails in the photo and wasn’t satisfied at all and he did nothing to make me feel more satisfied

The mentors Mrs.Jordan & Mrs.Simmons they are amazing they will help you, motivate you, and inspire you. I’m enjoying the hands on learning in the salon. I enjoys interacting with different ages of people. You can do so much at my school: You can do Esthetician, Nail Technician, Master Barbering , and Master Cosmetology. I am taking up Master Cosmetology and I absolutely love it. GREAT ENVIRONMENT. And you can graduate within a year !!!!! COME ENROLL if you want to be in the beauty industry.

Sabrina Kimble It was my first time going to Albany Beauty Academy I had a great experience. I got my hair shampooed and silk out, a pedicure, facial and manicure.I enjoyed the atmosphere it was very inviting and relaxing the students were very knowledgeable. The instructor was very knowledgeable and helpful she made sure all students was on task. They are have barber students on the salon floor as well. If you know a student who wants to go to cosmetology and barber they accept Financial Aid and VA Education Benefits for those who qualify

Pamela Ragland This place is the worst l was quoted one price over the phone and when l got there l was told 25 and at the end of the half done services 70 the owner which was VERY RUDE made all kinds of comments said couldnt give those price on little house on the pradie none of these girls have license God bless you all every one was nice except the owner l will never go again this is a review l got Bad treatment Pamela was extremely Nice

Brenda Cooper Ann, the nail tech, does great manicures, pedicures, overlays, and acrylic nails.

Laney Allen A very nice hair salon, nail parlor and ladies clothing store (although the price are a little too high for me). The nail tech, Anne Nguyen, is the best tech I ever had and I have been wearing either acrylic or gel nails for over 20 years. Shawn sells Avon and assists Audrey, who is great with mature womens hair. Kelly is fantastic with younger women and men. And Bobby is talented with any type of client.

Sonya Bridges I love the atmosphere!! Ethel Jackson has been doing an excellent job on my hair, not only that but she speaks over my head while doing my hair! To me thats a full service salon!! Jesus makes the difference & his presence is in that place!!!

LoverofGOD Always I met Ms Ethel for the first time on Saturday October 12th. She was very nice and she loves speaking on the good Lord. This is the first time Ive had my hair cut short in a very very long time and I was nervous. Her salon is very homey and she did my hair beautifully and everyone kept complimenting my hair style. Her rates are no different than anyone elses and worth the money. I will be returning to her soon because she was gentle and quick and she didnt take hours and hours to complete my hairdo and thats a plus for me. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a hairdresser.

taloya cleare It was a great Mother-Daughter birthday outing for me but in 6 hours her nails were ruined. Both ours looked like a beginner did them and we went back today mine was "fine" and hers was half "fixed". Id say once 3 paying customers came in we were ignored. So I wont be back. They are still nice people though.

Mc ShellBell (ShellBell) I did a walk-in to get a pedicure at Sassy Nails. I havent been here in a long time and wanted to give them another try. Last time service wasnt that good, felt rushed during my time there and had a long time wait time. (That was about 2 years ago or longer) This time got ke on in, and service was wonderful. The lady was awesome with my leg massage and took her time with me even though they got busy once I sat in the chair. The massage chair is working great, by the way. Most places dont let you use their bathrooms, but they let me. It was clean in the bathroom, too. The music they were playing was relaxing. Only reason gave them 4 stars is it was hot in there. On a warm day like today, it really needs to be a little cooler.

Jilian Summerlin Went here to get a fill in and 2 nails fixed. The man at the register was rude and dismissive and I wasnt even acknowledged by anyone else. After being told to have a seat and wait, I did. After waiting for 30 min and watching 2 other people walk in and getting brought to the chair when a nail tech became available, I decided to leave. I will not be going back to spend my money there.

Lavendra Shootes I went in as a walk in for my nails for a fill in, I ask how long will the wait be because I had an appointment at 5 so I can schedule an appointment later. Tony the owner told me it is best to wait. Another customer came in he told her to return at 5 pm. I then asked him will my wait be until 3 hours later he got rude and retorted loudly, “I told you “. I left not only because of his rudeness but his bias treatment. That will be my last time going there to continue dealing with his disrespect. It was not the first time.

Jaycee Bradley I like this salon because they dont rush your pedicures and the polish last for 3 weeks! It is my appointment..but I like that because that means they have a scheduled time just for me. Only a select couple can do designs on the toes..that does matter to me.. I did notice they only give water bottles to select people ...everyone should get a free water bottle or at least be offered before.

Amy Martin-Ali If I could rate this place 0 stars I would. From the half a pedicure to the owner’s disgusting attitude I will never go back or recommend. I felt unwelcome as soon as the owner sat down she never even said as much as hello on top of a terrible job on the pedicure

KonnichiwaSuu Agency I’ve been to this salon before and I’ve never had an issue before. I came in yesterday to get my nails removed, get a pedicure, and an acrylic overlay. They started with my nails i don’t the lady’s name but she was older. Now, I know you’re supposed to let the nails soak but I was under the impression that she was doing something different to get them off so I let her do her thing. I felt little pinches but I knew that was normal when removing nails but I had no idea she was ripping my nails off. When she finished the first hand I was so hurt I started crying because I love my nails and now they’re messed up. I don’t like writing reviews on places that I previously had good experiences with but this was too much. My nails are ruined and I won’t be able to get them done for months! I didn’t have to pay for this but it still sucks.

Jensen Bell Worst experience ever, never going back. I got my toes, hands, and eyebrow’s down. Nails weren’t polished great at all, and my eyebrows, one eye brow is thicker then the other… never again.

Shanicie Williams I deviated from my original shop due to me being pressed for time. My nails are bulky with acrylic. She filled in my nails and then went back over them again with more acrylic. I was coaching her wayyyy too much to be a nail tech. My gel pedicures have never chipped but after leaving this place more than one chipped sooner than they should have. I will not return to Nail Affair.

Christopher Graham, MBA They were very friendly! I mean extremely friendly! This has to by far be the most welcoming nail salon I have been to! However, I hate when techs speak Korean over me. They were mocking the work of my previous nail tech. I can make out certain phrases that lead me to that assumption. She finally said something about the acrylic being thick. This was quite ironic, because I went in for a matte black short coffin set. The couldn’t find the matte polish so they asked another tech for her polish. It was cute, but when she found “her” polish it turned out very streaky. The shaping and laying of the acrylic were subpar. This was shocking because she was the owner. I came here because of the good reviews and referrals. Great service, but maybe I should have let another tech complete me service. The are a bit on the pricey side also. I paid $50 for the full set in the images. Just plain acrylic and gel polish. I was not pleased, but I had already had a bad experiences returning to a nail salon to get repairs. I just went to another shop, though her husband did say return if I was I unpleased. I think he knew they were not cute.

Sandra Although the customer service is friendly, the nail service is poor. I would not recommend this nail salon to anyone. I spent $70 for these unsatisfactory nails.

Jesica Janis I just have to say cause its eating at me how bad the nail service was when I went. Prices were way to high for the lack of service. The employees ate nice but Ive been getting my nails done for years and have never had someone not cut my nails before applying acrylic nails on. My nails were super long under them and they were quickly done. After 4 days my natural nails were snagging on the sides because they werent filled down well. The acrylic was on my skin on my cuticle and finger so as they grew out they kept catching on everything. 120.00 for my daughter and I to have our nails done and needed to have them redone 2 weeks later cause they were lifting so bad from being attached to my skin instead of on just my nail bed. For those that wrote positive reviews, I wish I would of had the same experience. Dont be going back. That is for sure. Oh and their nail polish is from like walmart. Ive never seen nail polish take over 30 min to dry and she never put a top coat on it. Just lack of good service for an EXTREMELY HIGH PRICE, that isnt posted.

Cathryn This place used to be great and now it’s trash. I was very clear with what I wanted for my nails, and they gave me something completely different than that. They also took so long that I didn’t have time for them to fix it (not that they probably could have.) It was miserably hot, there were dozens of flies in the place, and the phone was ringing off the hook with no one answering it. My nails were also left very crooked, my cuticles were cut and bleeding, and the male nail tech gripped my fingers so hard that they hurt. It was also way too expensive for the service. I will not be going back.

Lîvīñglïfétø thëfùllêst What I wanted vs what I got they slacked off over the years this isn’t worth the price no one seems to not know how to do designs I didnt have an issue last time . Only thing good was the lady who did my toes I wish someone else that o was used to seeing in there gave me the design instead. The nail polish shouldn’t be all over my fingers nor seeping into my cuticles from where it’s filed at .I have a trip to go to this weekend im pissed ! Asmar Alqaadir This place has gone downhill. It cannot possibly be owned by the same people who opened it. I brought my niece here and was treated as if she was a bother to be serviced. The air never works and the prices are ridiculous for the lack of service and talent provided. They also charge $1.50 to use any electronic form of payment. I will NEVER return here. After being treated so poorly we politely left and went to BLISS NAILS. Shout out to Bliss!

Bri Talley Dear Kira Cole (April 27 Review), In your review, you stated “I had brought my own polish for my toes, forgot it at the shop and when I returned to get it about 15 min later, the nail tech had put it on the shelf as if it were their color, stating they had planned to just keep it.” Please refresh your recollection by reviewing this video I have posted. In the video footage of the salon, you can see that you came back and told the employee “hi, I left my polish color..” The employee asked "nail polish?", and you replied "yeah." She immediately went to get your bottle. She did not say anything else. Your bottle was not put back on the salon shelf; it was placed in a basket to return to you. You can be heard saying “thank you” and seen leaving the salon with your polish. We empathize that people are busy and we do not remember every single event that occurs in a day. So to be fair to both customers and the employee, we reviewed this footage in order to determine what actually happened. We are more than happy to provide more video footage to assist you with more accurate recollections of your interactions with the salon.

Tiffany Gainous I have been going for awhile and never had issues until I asked to have my acrylic removed. They do not soak off. They basically pry it off your real nails. It was very painful. Now my nails are very damaged and I had to cut many of them down to the skin because of the damage. I liked everyone but I will go somewhere that removes it properly from now on.
