Kinga Kiss-Johnson I have read all the reviews few years back before I was looking for a hair place that I felt comfortable. I’m sure glad I have not listened to peoples opinions. I’m disabled veteran and have many doctors appointments In Augusta, I drive in from McCormick. Because of my unforeseen appointments, I can’t make appointments like normally I used to, so that is why I was searching for a place, that I can walk in and, walk out, but still be able to enjoy the short time of being pampered. So with this backdrop, want to tell you, about how amazing they are. It’s started in the middle of Covid, I was desperate for a color, cut, treatment care. I walked in, they greeted me with the most respect, there few customers there, so I thought it will be a while. But I sit down and watched the 3 ladies working in harmony, like little ninjas. All 3 of were working on this one ladies amazing long hair. Was magic show watching it as I waited. , One supplied the tools one was drying, while the other, straightened the hair. Few minutes later this lady looked like she just stepped off the red carpet, flowing bouncy beautiful styled hair. When it was my turn, I had 3 hands on my head, doing my highlights, then everyone was moving like strategic movements of chess pieces. I got the perfect color that I have requested, the perfect cut, that I wanted (showed her a picture of my favorite cut) and absolutely loved the atmosphere. Walked out with a bounce in my steps, happy and beautiful. Amazing prices, quality work! Today reminded me how much I love going there.

Liana Hamilton DO NOT go here if you have even slightly textured, thick, or wavy/curly hair. They have no idea what they are doing. Mya hair was to my waist and it is now at my shoulders. I asked for 2-3 inches off and not only did she cut off at least 9 inches, she also raked my hair with the thinning shears so hard it hurt my head, and I did not ask for my hair to be thinned and did not want it to be. My friend who was with me has straight, thin, non textured hair and they butchered hers too, so maybe actually just don’t go here at all. I for one know I will NEVER be back and I will be telling everyone I know how horrible this experience was. Attached is my hair after the cut, the inspiration photo I showed them, and my hair before.

Lee H Great price and great service. I’m balding so there’s only the sides and back to work with. I usually leave a haircut feeling I don’t get my money’s worth for the five minutes it takes. Here I get a great price and a shampoo! The ladies are both really sweet, but also fast. I like this place and think it’s worth the hour drive to get here from my house in Aiken just to be treated so well.

Ellen Burrell The salon is always clean and welcoming. Zeh is awesome and goes above and beyond to give me the hair style and color that looks great for my face and personality. I highly recommend this salon and Zeh. Awesome doesnt come close to describing how I feel after I have my hair done here.

Lori Dickson Zeh is amazing. She performs a hair miracle on me every 8 weeks. Highly recommended salon they are all very professional and fun.

Renee Copeland The shop is always clean and comfortable. The stylists are so incredibly talented. If you are looking for a shop that can provide expert cuts and colors look no further than Karyn Grace Salons.

Cici B. Appt was for 8am. I had to call back to get the name of the braider recommended & since it took to long ( the recommender was at work) I called back to schedule anyway and was told 8am was gone to come at 11am. I called to confirm pricing with supplying my own hair & was asked to come at Noon (12p) I said ok. I went shopping at Ross and got back across the street approximately 11:40. & the 4-5 Braiders busy & after going back & forth, I was asked to come back at 2pm. I said I will reschedule at a later date. Of course, I received a call @ then a text so an apology to come back with a 20min wait & someone will start on my hair. I’m in traffic now…so I said No worries, I’m on the highway. Time management is important. Will I schedule again? More than likely I will not. I’m flexible but 11a to 12 to 2pm was a bit much. I appreciate the attempt to “fit” me in. Guess I was to anxious to get my hair braided clearly that was a sign lol. I’ll book online with Majestic in Solar Salon near Sam’s Club.

India A. Holsey My experience was horrible. I wasted gas going to the shop to get my hair braided. I was completely stood up by one of the braiders and she never explained to me why…I would never recommend this place to anyone they are extremely unprofessional.

Janna Moore Andrea has got skills!! So fortunate to find someone that listens to me and knows exactly what I want. Very reasonable priced as well. Highly recommend. Make sure you book regular appts way ahead of time though. They fill up months in advance.

Melinda Moberg Diamond in the rough! I absolutely loved my experience at sheer heaven. Military family so we move around a lot (Andrea makes me not want to move haha) and its been a while since Ive had a haircut and of course a new place its a hit and miss on where you go because you just dont know the area. So you really have to put the time in researching and trusting that that is right. I absolutely loved my haircut best haircut Ive had in a long time Andrea was my hairstylist and she is amazing I love her and her work. The atmosphere was so comfortable , welcoming and warm. Everyone was very sweet and loving. I have long thick hair and was looking for layers she is amazing at doing layers and recommending what works best for you, she is very trustworthy. Love love love!!!!

Kimberly Davis Ive been going here for close to 10yrs and love it. Andrea is my stylist but everyone there wonderful. Ive tried a few other places if I was offered a coupon to try out a new salon or something like that, but I always come back to Shear Haven. If youre looking for stylists that listen to what you want with both color and cut and dont want to spend an over the top amount or are on a budget, try them out. I highly recommend!

Simone Davis I needed a last minute hair appointment before leaving for Atlanta, Jayla was able to execute the exact style i wanted … I’m in Augusta for work every month, this may be my go to stylist going forward !

Ivey Crystal (CrystalNique’s Creation’s) I truly loved my experience at Atypical Hair Salon. So far the best in town to be honest, I loved how beautiful the salon is setup, it was so relaxing and refreshing. Also everyone was very friendly. I love how educated Quenya is when it comes to hair, she most definitely know what she is doing, she told me so much about my hair, as to what skills and techniques how to manage my hair, her knowledge is amazing. My hair is very soft and manageable which looks so healthy. I will most definitely be coming back to Atypical Hair Salon.

Jessica Mullen I had an amazing hair care experience at this salon. The stylist went above and beyond to retain length, while providing thoughtful care to my strands. The shop was clean and beautiful and all of their products used smelled delicious! I’m so happy with my wash, steam, blowout, and treatment. This will be my go-to one-stop-shop for beauty and self-care while I’m in the Augusta area.

Jean Made appt. Then called to come on in because customer before me never showed up for their app. Went in then told I would have to wait the lady showed up late !! Never will go back !!

Kai Scott I was a first time walk-in client. I will absolutely go back! My stylist was LaBria and she was prompt, efficient, friendly, and competent. She had me walking out of there with a smile on my face and feeling good with my new style. I will definitely go back and will be booking LaBria in the future.

Vic D85 Miss Candace Campbell is the best! If you need someone who cares about your natural hair, but wanting to try something different, check her out! Im a very picky about my hair and letting people get into it. Miss Campbell is very knowledgeable and not afraid to answer any questions you have. She is very kind and I love having her helping me with my hair journey!

Orange I along with someone else gave this salon multiple chances. The first time, they had my mom in for 7+ hours for a hairstyle that I could’ve did and I’m not a hairstylist. The time I came in, I was in for about 6+ hours and ms. Pat was late by about 30 min. I gave it a 3rd try when I had my appointment booked 2 weeks in advance. I get there for my 9a appointment and the doors were locked and no one answered my numerous phone calls. I wait until about 9:15 and see the door was still locked...confused, I check the hours and it says they open at 8a? I call two more times and just give up and go home. I would have liked a phone call if something came up but I’ve just given up on this salon.

Cyn Nappy Pat is fantastic!!! Her salon is beautiful and is nice and fun. Shes loves what she does and it reflects in her work. Ill definitely return .

Lannette P The owner of this salon, Patricia Flournoy is extremely unprofessional and an absolute ripoff, to say the least. I scheduled an appointment with her receptionist on July 15, 2021 and was told that I had to put a $30 deposit down for being a new client and that it would go towards my service, which was $105 for a silk press!! I gave her my credit card information over the phone. The appointment was scheduled for July 31, 2021. Upon arriving for the appointment, I was told by Patricia that my hair style would be $130 and that with a treatment, which I did not receive. I waited an hour to even be seen by her, to only have had a basic silk press done that should have been $105 and not $130. I contacted her shortly thereafter about my card being charged $139 and she said taxes were added. This wasn’t mentioned to me. She also said that she thought I received a treatment and that she would reimburse me $25 because I didn’t. I ended up getting the $25 back for that, only to find out that I was charged $32 and that it wasn’t directed towards my original service. I addressed her with this and she hung on me. I basically ended up paying her $146 for a basic silk press that her student assistant did the majority of with no trim or treatment. She is rude, and very overpriced and it is very disappointing.

Marysa Sierra Melanie is the absolute best! She takes her time, fun to talk to and always goes above and beyond. Ive been seeing her for over a year now and I leave her chair feeling amazing each time. :)

Kimberlee Mitchell I absolutely love Southern Roots! Amanda has always done an amazing job on my hair! The shop is clean and welcoming! Trust me yall wont be disappointed, all of the ladies there are highly talented!

Dee Jhaye Tanisha did an excellent job on my hair. She is ALWAYS friendly & courteous. The shop is clean & she schedules appts where the customers arent too close to each other inside the shop.

Johnnie Johnson I am so glad I decided to go to see Emma at Bella Capelli 2.5 years ago! I have been highlighting my hair for a very long time and Emma does it so perfectly, without causing damage! The people are welcoming and so easy to schedule with. I highly recommend Emma Marshall at Bella Capelli Salon.

She is very lovely and very knowledgeable and skilled and awesome at what she does. She fixed my hair and I am so excited to show it off!! Alyssa Holmes Amazing experience!!! From the moment I booked my appointment through walking out of the salon with a new hairstyle, everyone was very nice, courteous, and professional. Leah did a stellar job adding highlights to my hair and cleaning up my eyebrows. She took the time to understand my concerns and what I was looking for. I couldnt be happier. Charleys Angel I love how my stylist care about my hair not just my money. Shes helped maintain my natural hair and keeps it nice and healthy.. I dont see myself going to any other stylist... You have to try them for yourself and youll see

Shatisha Wilson There are very few stylists that take the time to actually educate you on the health of your hair. The owner has consistently went above and beyond to accommodate my natural hair health journey. Bridgett has encouraged me to try new styles, but more importantly created an environment where you feel heard and understood. The salon atmosphere is warm and loving. If youre looking for a stylist to help with not maintaining but educating you on healthy hair habits, this is the place to visit.

Raniya Debreon A friend recommended this salon & I’ve been there twice, going back for a third time. I get my hair flatironed, the service is good and the price is affordable for me. I’m gonna make this my go to salon.

Doris cornelious When I left the salon my hairstyle was in place and it was very pretty which was a spiral set for $60. But that same night it fell. I called the shop, and ask for a hair do over. And her assistance said there would be a fee to do my hair again. When I wasn’t @ fault why my hair didn’t last not one whole day. I will not be returning.

Sonya Clemons This is my third visit to this Salon and the owner is very strong, beautiful and knows her way around hair! This was my daughters first visit and just to see her face light up after her hair was completed! I knew this Salon was a true blessing as the owner Ms Mel with her awesome talent for hair! DR. VALERIA I moved here from the Atlanta area 8 yrs ago and have been getting my hair styled by Peaches at Anointed Styles now for 3 years. Never have I experienced such professional, timely, respectful, courtesy, peaceful & talented team of stylists. Both Peaches & Shalanda have presented 100% customer satisfaction service during every visit. Hair services Ive received included weaves, wig installs, crochet, braiding, & coloring (see photos). I have been 100% happy with my all my styles. Furthermore, its important how I feel on the inside. And the atmosphere is inviting and peaceful and I leave smiling & feeling good to start my day. There is truly an "Anointing" in this place!

Tim Bils Im from the west coast and Im very untrusting of people in regards to styling my hair. This place is totally legitimate. I almost never leave reviews, but people should know. There is a barber there, but I personally prefer a cosmetologist. Very good people.

Katrina Garvin I would recommend anyone to visit this hair salon. It’s clean neat and well organized. Kid friendly also which is a plus for me. Courtney is my stylist and I thank God I found her,she’s been the only one that I found to do my hair EXACTLY how I want it. She’s the bomb in my eyes!! She also have a Braider inside her shop as well. So please check her out as well,you won’t regret it.
