Nancy Ross I’m new in town and just had my second dental checkup today. I knew I had a couple issues with my teeth so it was no surprise I needed a crown replaced and a new one too. Throw in a couple cavities yikes! However, with that said, both the hygienist and the dentist were very gentle making sure I wasn’t in any pain. I booked my follow-up appointment and have zero worries about moving forward. Everyone is very nice there! I’m glad I picked an excellent facility without having to keep changing dentists until I got it right. Trust me, Legacy Family Dentistry is great!!

Jen Lopez I sought treatment at Sage Dental for a tooth with a cracked amalgam filling that had become exposed. As a member of the Humana Dental Value Plan C550, I anticipated a straightforward process with a $35 copay for a simple extraction, as outlined in my plans fee schedule. However, I was quoted $1,700, then $242, and informed that my insurance would cover only $45. This discrepancy was perplexing, given my plans fixed copays. When I inquired about a simple extraction, I was told that the procedure would be classified as a surgical extraction, which under my plan should incur a $55 copay. Additionally, I was advised that bone grafting was mandatory, with a cost exceeding $700. Despite explaining that I have no immediate plans for an implant, I was informed that the grafting was not optional. Feeling pressured and confused, I left the office without receiving treatment. I recommend that others with the Humana C550 plan carefully review any treatment plans and associated costs, ensuring they align with the plans fee schedule.

Jonathan Murphy As a new patient, I spent 1.5 hours of my first visit mostly waiting, doing X-rays, talking about cleaning teeth and never got my teeth cleaned because “it simply wasn’t possible on the first visit”. Instead, it requires 2 follow up appointments. Edit: follow up was great. Problem seemed to be a particular hygienist who’s no longer on staff. Glad I came back!

M L Lamara cleaned my teeth today and I can honestly say it was a PLEASURE! She taught me things about flossing that I’ve never been told before, and was so thorough and gentle. Her informative and conversational style put me at ease and made the process seem to go very quickly, even though she took her time and did an amazingly thorough job. Erin Perkins Amazing experience. From the second we walked in and checked in with Abril at the front desk, I could tell it was going to be different. We switch from a dentist where when you walked in you weren’t immediately greeted because how chaotic and crazy it was. BUT THIS…. It was personable. It was laid back and peaceful. There were activities for the kids in the waiting room. So many books to read, video games to play and more. When they called us back they called all 3 kids at the same time. We were walked back and 3 hygienist greeted us and were ready to start, they were all amazing and super patient and great with my kiddos. Dr. Ballard was great! I can’t stress it enough this man was made to work with children and it shows. He was super patient and great with the kids. I am so happy we switched to this practice. We can’t wait for our next cleaning.

Raven Seeboth I’ve had two negative experiences with this practice in the last month. First, my five year old was originally scheduled for late November/early December for a filling. We were unable to make it so we rescheduled with the front desk for March. When my son and his father showed up that morning in March, the front desk had no history of the appointment but were able to luckily accommodate him two hours later that day. Let that one slide, not a big deal. And second, this morning, I had two appointments scheduled (cleanings) for 9am. I showed up on time and sat in the waiting room. After exactly 30 minutes AFTER my appointment time was supposed to start, my two children were still in the waiting room so I walked up to the front desk to ask how much longer. I mentioned that my appointment was supposed to start 30 minutes ago, the lady at the front desk said she would ask and find out how much longer because I needed to leave at 10:30 to get back to work. 90 minutes should have been more than enough to accommodate my two children. I sat back down and waited for an additional 10 minutes, just to be told that they were running behind and they run on “kids time”. They offered to reschedule the appointment for the following day which I couldn’t accommodate so the soonest appointment they could give me after they ran behind was a MONTH out. Almost 30 days because of their time running behind, no respect whatsoever to MINE. I do like the dentist and the assistants that work with him. I just hate that my negative experiences revolving around the front desk and I can’t in good conscience refer someone over to them.

I go in for my appointment and they have no clue that I had an appointment. You would think they would make time for my appointment since they screwed up, especially since I even showed them proof of my appointment, but no I was told they do not have time. I understand mistakes are made, but there was no effort on their part to correct it and provide good customer service. Would never recommend this hole in the wall place to anyone!!!!

Clifton Forrester Be ware of their billing practices. Billed for services more than six months ago. When we were in there for cleaning they didn’t even mention that they no longer accepted our insurance. But then sent a $400 bill for more than six months before the last cleaning visit. They claimed they had billing issues but would give no relief on the bill, even though it was their issue, not ours.

Dr. Huthwaite is the best with any type of injection in the mouth you feel nothing!! I could go on and on, but going to this office is a pleasant experience hard to say with other dentists.

The hygienist Heather took special care and was first hygienist I ever had that did not hurt me during the cleaning process. Dr. Deborah preformed a crown on me and was very wonderful at taking special precautions to make me feel very comfortable by delivering a pain free service. Kristen Satterfield Dr. Nwosu has been my family dentist for 12+ years. Herself and her staff are very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. My 6 year old daughter and I always look forward to visiting her for our preventive cleanings every 6 months! In fact we get excited about going to the dentist!! Recently my fiance was in excruciating pain from a cracked tooth, his dentist could not see him for another week, I called Grace Family Dentistry and they saw my fiance that day and was able to do the extraction immediately. (Out of pocket price for self pay was the lowest quote in town too!) I am so thankful for their accommodation and the care that they provide! I recommend them to every individual I know and continue to trust Dr. Nwosu and her staff in caring for my loved ones dental needs!

Jake Mitchell Kids Dentistry is amazing! The staff has always been so patient with my son from the very first time we visited several years ago. He is autistic and other places I’d taken him wanted to put him to sleep to clean his teeth, but Kids Dentistry took time with him to explain and has never had a problem. Everyone I know gladly drives over an hour to visit Dr. Vaughn and staff here, they are such a blessing to us! Not only are they the best pediatric dentists ever, but they have the “coolest” office with such cool designs for the littles. Even though my son is getting older, they never treat him any different and ALWAYS have such a positive attitude!

Hannah Johnson Do not go here. Appointment was at 11:30 at 12:30 we went up there and asked what’s up and the lady said idk you might be next. The didn’t start on my teeth until 2pm. Then after everything was done they didn’t tell my mom any after care instructions no ice packs no gauze. And when I went for my consultation they told me my absence would be excused for how ever long I was out of work and school but didn’t give me any excuses. I’ve been trying to call for 2 days no one will answer and if someone does they tell me they don’t do teeth removal. When I went in for my appointment the door literally said family orthodontist. I called the number on my paper the two numbers on google and no one is helping me. Also doesn’t help that three different names of places have the exact same address.

Kimberly Kea So my experience with the staff in person was great. Very friendly and welcoming. Doctor has great people skills and very personable. They were even able to work me in on a cancellation and I was very thankful. However, on the day of my appointment I had a hard time finding the office. I tried to call several times to get help from someone because I was from out of town. For 45 minutes I could not get a hold of anyone. I drove around for 45 minutes frantically looking for the office. I finally found it and was very flustered. My only frustration was that I could not get a hold of someone to answer my call to help me. Other than that, My experience was great!

I was extremely comfortable and the entire staff was kind and courteous. Whether it be routine cleanings or an emergency like I experienced.
