plum chen I found this place on Google. Called first and got in quickly for a consultation. Met Miss Baker and talked about my needs and her thoughts on my hair. Waited patiently until my real appt. First time in, after many years tried all sorts of hair salons all over the eastern country now in GA. Here is my honest feelings of the place: 1) Miss. Baker is the best of all. She listened to the detail. The explanations were very clear. Each step was comfortable. The highlights came out Out Standing. 2) Each hairstylist carries appt from the beginning to the end. NO other involved just one ON one Svc Which is exactly what I wanted. 3) The most comfortable washing chair EVER. With neck support, yep! 4) Miss Baker, keep up your great work. Thank you

Amori C. Nyielle I found this place on google after wanting a different look for myself. I’m glad I found it because I absolutely love my hair. I’ve been getting so many compliments. I received a wash and conditioning treatment along with dying my hair. I also got a silk press and I got clip ins added into it. Maria and her staff does a terrific job and were so welcoming as well and I will be returning.

Author Tinzley Bradford If you don’t have long, healthy hair, do not go here. They seem to mistreat people with a certain texture of hair and breakage. I have been under a bit of stress last few months, and unfortunately, my stress shows up in my appearance, in this case my scalp. My hair was pretty damaged, but it was not something that could not have been worked around. I’ve been in this same predicament before and the stylist was able to save quite a bit of my hair because she cared about my feelings and she respected me as a client.. This lady, Naomi, clearly mistreated me and purposely tried to humiliate me, in my opinion she discriminated against me based on the appearance of my hair. She CLEARLY did not care at all and made a joke of this entire thing. She was loud, rude, dismissive, made a scene and then after she suggested I allow her to cut my hair in a short style to so called restart new hair growth, she cut all my hair off in no specific style at all, it looked like a man’s hair cut with no line up or shape and she charged me thirty five dollars for that hair cut. She charged me twenty five dollars for a deep conditioner only to whack all my hair off and didn’t even try to make it look appealing. While I was there, another lady asked her what kind of music I liked and she answered on my behalf and immediately said “Rap!” This was unacceptable! During this encounter, I don’t have physical proof, but it looked as if one of the other stylists was recording me as I sat there being completely humiliated. This type of behavior is unfair and can perpetuate harmful biases. Everyone deserves respect and inclusion, regardless of their hairstyle or hair condition. I will NEVER allow myself to go somewhere to be treated such as this and will NEVER spend my money with them ever again!

Rebekah Downing She was very attentive and did great work hiding my 3 inches of grey hair roots. I like letting the stylist pick the cut and color, and she did an excellent job. She was very professional. I highly recommend Deya. Also, the photo on the door only shows a black woman. I thought Deua might only treat one specific hair texture. I was pleasantly surprised by how well she handled my hair. She made my hair silky smooth instead of my usual wash n go for curly hair with split ends. I highly recommend Deyas Dominican Hair Salon.

Dr. Patterson I found this salon on Google and was hoping to get in same day, the owner answered the phone and was very polite she took my appointment same day! The shampoo and condition was amazing, she was very thorough. I have psoriasis so I need good products and she had everything on hand. My silk press was styled very nicely and my hair looked healthy! Highly recommend

I had seen the name before while searching for salons in the area, and when I passed by, I noticed online it said she might be closing. Still, I decided to try the door—and to my surprise, it opened, and she welcomed me right in. This particular stylist possesses an impressive level of expertise and skill when it comes to doing hair, and I can genuinely appreciate her talent in that area. However, despite her noteworthy abilities, I have decided that I will not be returning for future appointments. The primary reason for this decision stems from her tendency to engage in lengthy conversations while working on my hair. While I certainly understand that some people enjoy chatting during their appointments, I found her constant stream of questions and commentary to be a bit overwhelming. It felt as though I was on display, rather than just relaxing and enjoying the experience. Moreover, there is another aspect that significantly contributed to my choice to look elsewhere for hair services: her insistence on taking pictures once she finishes styling. Rather than simply asking if I would be okay with it, she firmly states that she needs to take pictures for her own records. While I understand that many stylists document their work, I found it uncomfortable knowing that I would be photographed and those images would be stored in someone else’s phone without my explicit consent. Not everyone feels at ease with the idea of someone else possessing pictures of them, regardless of the context. If it were not for these specific factors—the excessive talking and the mandatory picture-taking—I would undoubtedly consider returning to her for my hair needs. Her skill is undeniable, but the discomfort I experienced during the appointment ultimately outweighed any enthusiasm I had for her abilities. Thus, it is with mixed feelings that I share this review, hoping to provide a balanced perspective for others who may be considering her services.

Natasha King 5 stars I would highly recommend a stylist there by the name of Monique. She is absolutely amazing. She’s quick, professional, and very attentive to my hair care needs. I got a quick weave into a bob with an invisible part. It’s been about 4 weeks and I’m still getting complimented daily. I will definitely be back to give her all of my business.

Jennisea Whitaker I decided to make a review about Enve Salon because of the wonderful experiences I have at the salon. It is upsetting when you hear something negative has been said about a place that provides excellent customer service, above quality hair services, and an affordable rate. I spend a lot of time observing when I go to places and it is very apparent that each and every stylist gives quality work with a great attitude. The owner sets a very high standard for her employees. The owner is very business savvy person and knows how to appeal to clients whether it be music, comfortable waiting areas, the ease of computer-based appointments, and a great old fashion feel with good conversations. The owner has been very successful over many years and that alone speaks for itself. All the stylist there are constantly continuing their education and learning about new innovative styles and ways to improve your hair. I personally get my hair done by Aisha and when I leave her chair, I get compliments on my hair days later!! Aisha has revitalized my hair in so many ways and has educated me along the way. Many people are wearing their hair natural nowadays and I really encourage you to see Aisha and allow her to work some unbelievable magic. She truly has a gifted hand! The good thing about Enve is that all the stylist are exceptional in their craft. My advice..whichever stylist you choose at Enve, be prepared for great services because it is a rare commodity in todays society.

Tamika Sain Hi, Sonja was professional and very confident she could give me the look I was paying for. I came in with stressed hair and I left out stress free looking like myself again. My husband and I was total satisfied with my hairstyle. It was an exciting experience and the salon was beautiful. I would recommend Sonja to anyone I know looking for a sharp hair cut and total transformation. God Bless!

Chevy Thrasher Maria is extremely gentle with my hair and I have the tightest 4C pattern I have ever seen! Give her a chance to wow you!!! This is only a blow dryer job….and she so sweet. I’ve been living here for 30 years. She’s the best hairstylist I’ve come across in 30 years in Douglasville for getting your hair together.!

Chicken Nugget I spent $150 for a waste of my time. They are very rushed, not completing the services at their best at all. The only good thing was my eyebrow wax. Got my eyebrows tinted they left the tint on way longer than supposed to, then when wiping off couldnt get it all and 3 days later I still see spots on my eyebrows. I got my eye lashes done, with false ones. She asked if I wanted natural or full, I said natural... I think she heard full on glam clumps.... I ended up having to them off because the glue was every where and my eyes were irritated. The absolute worst was a "facial" I got MAYBE a 2 minute max scrub? I think she used 2-3 different products, and had the steamer going. Well the steamer did not even touch my face at all, she rubbed so fast and then used the same wet towel and SCRUBBED my face. I asked about extracting, and she said oh yea its included in this facial..... proceeded to get a commonly used pimple extraction tool and literally gouge at my freakin nose, i mean she did like 5 hard swipes and was done.... I got my legs waxed..... or so I thought she missed multiple areas of hair. Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND. Even if this is your last resort, like it was mine, sis I promise you wait to find somewhere better.

L J Went here for threading they ruined my eyebrows made it all uneven. And left spots full of hair the Asian woman that did my eyebrows clearly didn’t understand what arch eyebrows means. Don’t waste your time and money here just go somewhere else where you can not worry about getting screwed over. Now I have to wait until my eyebrows grow back even again. Thanks for ruining my birthday.

Rebecca Randall I went to get some highlights in my hair Michael is the one who did my hair...it looked horrible my scalp was stained it was a hot mess. I went back the next day on his time not my time and he supposedly fixed my highlights oh its still horrible he had a friend come in they went out back Im sure its was to do with drugs because she left and didnt get a haircut. I messaged Michael the next day he was rude and blocked me...my hair looks like a child did my hair. Michael would not refund any of my money...

From start to finish Shantae was very professional, friendly and knowledgeable about the services she offers. I received a treatment, cut and silk press and I could not be more happy with the results. My hair is so soft and silky. She definitely boosted my confidence. You can tell that she loves what she does and knows exactly what your hair needs to get it and keep it healthy. I’m looking forward to my next appointment! 10/10 would definitely recommend!

Wonder Womom Shantae is an expert in healthy hair and talented stylist. She has a professional, warm and friendly demeanor. I received a silk press, cut and steam treatment. The shampoo and steam treatment were extremely thorough and sooo relaxing, I was close to falling asleep. It has been years since I have gone to a professional salon for service, and I am so glad I was led to go to Shantae. She is a blessing and I felt that she truly enjoyed teaching me about my hair and helping me restore its health. Mrs. Sadique is a jewel she keeps my baby girl hair healthy and her styles I pick for her....Sadique would put her flare on it. I recommend this place for your healthy haircare needs. And if you wear wigs like myself Sheena and Tasha would be your go to persons for styling.

DaJonezMatron Beautiful suites! Great concept and setup. I get my hair done in one of your suites in the Douglasville location. My only gripe is that it smells like weed due to one of the other renters being a smoker. It is hard to enjoy my service due to the stench. I can see this ruining the business for other business owners in this suite. Just isnt a good look for the establishment. The service that I receive from my stylist is great. I just dont feel comfortable being there due to the smell of weed.

Malissa Lowe After a last minute cancelation, I was desperately looking for a stylists to do my daughters hair at the last minute. Just by chance we went into Exquisite Beauty Bar. I explained the situation, and asked someone could do a silk press. Without hesitation, she said "yes we can do her hair." Everyone was professional and very knowledgeable. My daughters hair turned out absolutely beautiful. She did a great job! She took her time and made my daughter feel comfortable. I will definitely bring my daughter back!
