Royal Phillips I had a very disappointing experience at this nail salon. I walked in at 10:30 AM, and the salon was completely empty—no customers in sight. Despite this, I was told they couldn’t help me because they had appointments. There was no effort to offer a wait time, reschedule, or even provide a courteous explanation. The interaction felt dismissive and unwelcoming. I couldn’t help but feel that I was being treated unfairly, and it left me questioning whether discrimination was a factor. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this place to others looking for respectful service especially people of color!

Nikki Dykes The staff were all so kind. We came in close to closing time but they still took their time and were not rushed at all. I loved the soothing music that was playing. Prices are fair.

Audrey Chen This is the best nail salon ever! I love the atmosphere and the workers are gentle and kind! Everyone is so polite, this place is better than Disneyland! My nails looked absolutely perfect and they didn’t chip like other nails do, I go frequently now and I recommend others do as well! I can feel the magic every-time I enter! This place is so affordable for such gorgeous nails! Such a calming experience! Absolutely mind blowing!

Franklin Jasmine This is probably one of the worst nail salons on thr island. The first encounter I had with them they closed at 730 I arrived at 630 they told me they were closed but as I walking out someone else was walking in and they took them with no hesitation. Now the second encounter i walk in Im not greeted , not a mention of a wait time or nothing the current customers even laughed as I walked out. Idk what their deal is but all MONEY is green here in AMERICA !

Jessica Came in with my niece for a mani pedi. They did not do a foot soak for her. My nails are already chipping and this was done 2 days ago. I used to come in all the time with my mom however clearly things have changed in the past 7 years. Sadly will need to find somewhere new when I come visit the island. I usually do my own nails and it holds up for a week. Would rather pay $12 for a good polish than $49 for a mani/pedi here. Update: took my nail polish off today and you can see the damage my technician did to my nails. I was wondering why they felt so brittle!

Karinap Albornoz Walked in to get a mani pedi and walked out wi the paint on my skin . When I asked the lady to clean it off, she laughed at me. It’s not worth 70 dollars if you have to go home and fix it

Sara G This place is terrible and not very clean. They could not get regular polish on my nails to look nice. The coats were too thin and they kept applying more coats until it was a goopy mess. I didn’t have the time for them to redo so I just had them take the polish off and not reapply any. They still charged me for my nails still even though I left with bare nails lol. Pedicure was just ok. I have tried this place 3x when my main place is booked/closed and because it’s so close to my house. Each time I have been disappointed but this time was exceptionally bad.

Jill Warning! My friend ended up with a nail fungus from this establishment and at least one of her friends did as well! Both have had to seek medical treatment! This is so unacceptable! Seriously, I would be careful about going here! When my friend brought this to the establishments attention, they blamed the fungus on her!

Shakyra Gordon Put the hot wax directly on my eyebrows without fanning to cool it down. Didnt let me look before leaving. When I paid asked how much of a tip I wanted to leave. I said $1 because i hadnt even seen what u did. I get outside and looked and my eyebrows werent even arched at all.

anjelika spimelika Sea Glass Nails did a perfect job on my nails. I got an acrylic refill with gel polish & they were impeccable. The other places around seem to do a bad job when they know Im just visiting, but Sea Glass was great.

Sarah Rutledge Walked in and asked for a manicure with sns. When I asked her to clean up my cuticles (isn’t that a basic part of a manicure?) she snapped at me that I “didn’t have any” when I asked her to paint closer to the cuticle she snapped back “I can’t paint on the cuticle” I left with polish all over my finger and zero part of the manicure was done except for the polish. She charged $40. I would not recommend this place and I will not be going back. Update: less than a week later my nail had chipped.

Beverly Spark Asked her to help take off old nail polish as I couldn’t do it by myself. She definitely didn’t want to help me albeit no one was in her big shop except for one person. Then she asked me if I was going to pay - of course I was and would have given her a nice tip. So after 10 min of back and forth while she had a very bad attitude I decided to leave and find some place nicer. As a former business owner I just don’t understand how shop employees/owner treat potential customers like this. Shop was totally empty I now know why. Will never return or spend my money to such an undeserved employee!! Run….

Deanne Cohrs Ive gone to Kim and Alex for years and they never disappoint. If you call ahead and make an appointment they can almost always accommodate you. They stay busy and cant always take walk-ins. Even I have been turned away on rare occasion that I walk-in, and I go all the time. They take their time and always do a great job. Alex gives one of the best pedicures Ive ever had and Kim does an excellent job with gel polish. My advice... make an appointment! Youll end up loving them as much as I do.

Amanda Tedford The lady was very rude when we got there saying they only take appointments when my gift card says walk-ins welcome. So we made the appointment for that evening and asked her if she had a opening before then to please call me or the friends cell phone that was with me which we gave our numbers to her. We got back to the salon at 12:09pm after eating lunch and was sitting in my car for four mins when she came out being very rude again rushing us like we was holding up her time with no one in the place. Then my pedicure was great besides the fact he cut my toe nails very short on my left foot and didnt make them the same as my right which is not a good thing for anyone to want done to them. But my eye brows she did a great job on. But they was very rude and didnt listen to us when we asked for things. I will not ever be going back here.... which I drove a hour and 15min to go to by the way bc of the gift card I had to try them out.

Glee Glee This is the best nail salon Ive been to in the area. I rated a bit high for that reason, although if we were in Atlanta I might drop the rating a wee bit due to the excellent competition there. They do an excellent job smoothing feet and shaping nails. I think the friendliness of the staff is worth mentioning too, often the nail techs around here are surly and perfunctory.

Lisa Manor I highly recommend Radiance by Raytillia. I’ve had services twice and I’ve been very happy with the experience and the results. Raytillia is not only concerned about making your nails and feet look nice, she is concerned about the health of your nails and takes care of any problem areas and educates you as a customer. And it’s a real treat to go to a private salon. Do not hesitate to try it!!

dionne Leverette I simply love the manicure and pedicure services I receive at Radiance! Raytillia takes the time to explain her processes and she truly cares about the health of your hands and feet not just the service itself. The atmosphere is calm, relaxing and she caters to your every need. Shes not just a technician, she is a care specialist! My next appointments are already booked!

Laya I went to school with her so I’m used to her vibes. She is really nice and it smells really nice in there and relaxing. She understands I’m extra sensitive bc I’m pregnant so she goes easy and if I’ve had enough we leave it be. Not worried about a few little stragglers. Worth the price which is super reasonable. I tend to go on a day when it’s not busy. So if you got a problem wit millennial music go on a not busy day which tends to be early. That’s between 12pm and 2pm from my observation. Don’t let the music or whatever deter you bc she really cool and it’s nice and clean plus sanitary.

samantha barnwell Don’t go here, she’s not the brightest crayon in the box. Called to see if she could cut my daughter’s bangs. She told me it was by appointment only. Yes, hence the phone call I am currently making now, to make an appointment. Duh, she thought I was calling to order a cake ? Don’t waste your time.

Melanie Davis Kim at Island nails NEVER lets me down! She is amazing! The whole staff is friendly and welcoming. I refuse to see anyone else for my nails. Very highly recommend island nails, also recommend you call and make an appt. These are todays nails! LOVE THEM!

Alaya Laleh Worst I have ever had my eyebrows done ever. Left the salon crying. Completely altered the shape and made them shorter when all I asked for was a touch up. Both eyebrows are uneven, and there is still hair out of place. Not clean at all! First time here and will never be back.

Cheryl Callaway So I walked in a was pleasantly greeted with a smile and I smiled back and went to look at my colors and was told to sit in the chair to get the polish changed on my toes but I didn’t realize I was getting in the chair to have to sit there and wait for another employee to come in, bc the lady told me she don’t do it….. few mins pass and this lady comes in and she doing feet now. So was i supposed to come in rude to get my polish changed. Will NOT be back. At that point I’m taking my money to CK nails where they know how to treat people!

Heidi Ravida -The older gentleman who was doing my nails argued with me when I tried to explain nail shape. Despite me smiling and being patient he got angry, said I dont know what you want! and told another tech to do my nails -They gave me the wrong color, painted my nails white even though I chose light pink and acted like I was being difficult when I pointed it out. -When i showed them the color i chose was different, they admitted they didnt have the color. This is the 1st bad review I ever left, but this business was the most unprofessional establishment Ive ever been to. Generally, Im a polite and friendly customer and leave a great tip. This is the 1st time in my life i left no tip. I was being very nice to them, they kept treating me like i was being a pain in the ass, even though i came in knowing what i wanted, they werent interested in understanding. I really dont get why they treated me this way, it was very unnecessary and cost them what could have been a loyal, regular customer.

Alandra Mosier Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Belinda is awesome! Full service Salon. I have curly hair, and I always like my cut, definitely showcases my curls, but also looks good if I feel like straightening. Give them a try!

Emely Laborde These photos are a few months shy of almost a year since I had my hair blessed by Belinda. I’m soo upset she left from Upstate NY and I can’t imagine anyone ever coming close to what she did for not only my hair but overall look. She took the time to try and discern what color tones will suit me best and cut. She gave me tips on how to cut, style, etc. And the first actual stylist that gave me an impressive consultation… something crucial I search for as someone who takes her curl health seriously. I was able to not only style my hair curly but also straight without noticing any damage to my hair. Prices were reasonable too! Long story short… Belinda will always be the best and I miss her work!!!!

Jeanine Presler Wonderful job. The Lady who did the pedicures was very nice. I didn’t get her name. I really like my pedicure and my granddaughter loved her pedicure and manicure. I would highly recommend T&L Nails. When I googled this place it came up with a Glynn Ave address. That is the wrong address. It is actually on Merchant Way. It is yelp that has it on Glynn Ave so don’t get the wrong place if you go here.

NIYAH’S WORLD Not only being not even 24 hrs ago my nails are already chipped, they made my nails uneven. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend going there

Karen Chin Had a great experience today. I got a pedicure and she fixed a bad pedicure that I had gotten just the week before. Mun took her time, gave a relaxing leg massage and then did a fantastic job on my toes. I would highly recommend this salon.

Anna D Go to this place! Went here for the first time this morning for a basic pedicure and had a lovely restorative time. Lisa did the most WONDERFUL job, loved the leg/foot massage especially, and enjoyed being able to lean back and close my eyes and take a rest. She had the most wonderful quiet and calm energy and I was able to relax totally. Thank you !!!

Kelly Lozano Was visiting the Island and went there with a friend. When I called, they were available to see us as soon as we wanted. My friend got a manicure and I got dipped nails. The colors I got are beautiful. Everyone was very friendly, and I felt the prices were extremely reasonable.
