Shiloh Rice I had such a wonderful experience with Ginny. It was my first time at this salon and she made me feel so comfortable and understood with my hair goals. She was so professional and so fun to talk to. My hair looks wonderful and I will be coming back to this location. I’ve already booked another slot with her for next time!

Amie James Madeline at Salon 124 Monroe is absolutely amazing. Every time I go in and see her, she makes me feel like a million again. She also cuts my boys hair and always makes time to get them in for what works during their busy sports schedule. I would recommend Madeline to anyone wanting something new or just a simple trim.

Little Bit Rayna did a wonderful job! Never gotten a haircut or hair coloring that I didnt like from her! Very friendly staff and all around a pleasant experience!

Anna Lively I had an amazing experience today! It was my first time at LaBoheme and my stylist was Faith. She made the experience comfortable, yet still upbeat and fun. She was very easy to converse with and also very knowledgeable on all the questions I asked. The atmosphere was lovely. I have been to salons that felt cold and clinical, but this salon was comfortable and inviting. I LOVE the results of my cut and color and will definitely be back.

Christy Harris In 2022 I needed someone to do hair & makeup for me for my wedding. I searched for salons in the Monroe area & La Boheme came up. I reached out to Jessie & she scheduled me for a bridal trial. I went in for my appointment & I immediately knew I had found my permanent hairstylist! I have been going to Jessie since then! She always does my hair perfect. I always feel comfortable when I’m there & I’m always happy with my hair when I leave!

Naysia Ford What a disappointment and DISASTER! I booked for knotless braids, shoulder length. I sent in the exact picture of how I wanted my hair. The hair was way longer than I wanted it and the parts were all over the place. I have no middle part! The picture I sent had medium sized braids and they did them super small. With very small and crooked parts. It looks ridiculous. The ends weren’t even either. Some of the ends had ended lower than other parts. I wanted to cry once I seen my hair. It was horrible! For the amount I paid, I could have taken my request somewhere else. I got asked little to no questions about how I wanted my hair. She didn’t even follow the picture I sent. I was also trying to make conversation by asking what language they spoke because I’m Haitian and she was snarky and said English. Rude.

lonna YT Honestly I wouldn’t even give a star. First of all I showed them a picture of how I wanted my hair. Ana says ok we can do it, but you should not get the braids big because they will not last long. So I said ok as long as I can still do an updo like on the picture. I asked for knotless box braids. These braids are not knotless and they are so tight I can barely lift them, forget about putting in a ponytail. I paid anyway but I will never go there again nor would I recommend anyone else. They are overpriced for that synthetic kankelon hair and they will not give you the style that you ask for. This was the worst braiding experience I have ever had.

Danielle Harris Ive been going here for my braids for 3 years now and have always been satisfied with my hair (not so much the service) up until recently. Ive recommended coworkers on down to my own family members. The past 3 experiences here were very poor and I will not be returning nor recommending anyone else. Anna the owner had someone who was inexperienced in the style I wanted do my hair. I was charged extra for a style they did not acheive and also the ends of my hair were extremely frizzy because the ends were not burned or dipped in water. This was my birthday hairstyle and I was totally dissatisfied. My hair did not look like the picture I showed them nor did I get stitch braids although I paid extra for stitch braids. The owner knew all of this and did nothing about it. Its more hurtful when you are a loyal customer and your money is still taken. This shops bathroom is always filthy and trash always overflowing. Some workers do not wash their hands after using restroom. I truly hope my review saves someone the experience. God bless.

kayla devere I was very nervous to get waxed, but I finally made the decision to do it. I have been going to Heidi since December and she is phenomenal. Super polite and super quick. Highly recommend her to anyone looking to get waxed!

Amanda Weir Came on a bit of a spur of the moment because of the great reviews and needed to get started back for summer. My esthetician Heidi was awesome! Super friendly and efficient. We were done in no time and I appreciate not dragging out an already painful process. Super happy with the results!

Helen Allen I absolutely love this place. I called the salon at 9:30 on a Monday crying because I had attempted to do my hair color myself & lets just say I failed epically. I called them only because I had gotten my hair cut there a couple of times and they were the only place in monroe open at the time. Sadie answered & said come up here & let me take a look. While Im still in a panic so much so that I skipped work she assured me it wasnt that bad & could give me some version of what I was going for. I thought theres no way I am beyond any "normal" presentable color & my hair is damaged beyond repair. Not 1 time did she sweat or blink twice when she said "its going to be fine". She took her time & helped keep me calm & after several hours, once again I was in tears! But they were happy tears! She had me sobbing because the results were better than I had ever imagined. I look & feel so much more than beautiful! As soon as she spun me around in that chair all I could do is thank her & cry & pay her whatever amount she asked (honestly I would have given her my routing number) all the panic was gone & i was just so grateful. As far as the amount I told her how much I had & she even gave me options but exceeded my expectations to say the least & my hair feels so healthy! Sadie-you lady are very talented & an expert to say the least. Im so grateful you answered the phone & answered my prayers. You now have a new client & will share this story til I can no longer speak! Thank you for everything!!

Most recently, she’s given me a cut that allowed me all the creativity I could want and was super enthusiastic about making the idea come to life. Pricing is also fantastic and scheduling is easy!

Candy English Previous visits here were very good. I set a new appointment for a haircut. When booking that appointment the price was $47. I wanted to change the appointment so I went online, to my surprise my appointment that I booked for $47 was now $57. No notification, just a $10 increase in today’s economy. That feels wrong.Glad I checked prior to the appointment.

Ariyah Mack I get my hair done here often I love going to Taneda, she learns you hair and uses the right products for your hair type. My silk presses always come out nice and shiny and last a long time.

bri !! I’ve been getting waxed by Kayla and Holly the past year and they are the ONLY people I would ever go to! I was extremely nervous for my first wax ever but they made me comfortable and kept me calm. The store is extremely inviting and clean. They made me feel comfortable in a vulnerable situation. Angel Harkins Six minutes after my scheduled appointment at 2:30 I arrived for my first visit with the cosmologists she was out of breath to tell me she had to leave in twenty minutes to meet her needs outside of the business and wanted me to tell her exactly what I wanted done as a comprise of her six minutes. Extremely poor business ethic when you are working in a business to meet others needs and unprofessional at communicating your time limits. Happily going to another business where the stylist is compassionate with her clients and doesn’t have greasy hair (.)

Sara Bryant I had the best experience with Mary! Her suite is downstairs and its so cute! She made me feel so comfortable and welcome the second I came in. That day I ended up having to bring all 3 of my kids and she was so gracious about it. She took her time and I didn’t feel rushed at all. I’ll definitely be returning! Thank you, Mary!

She was very sweet and asked some questions about what I liked and didn’t like before she started working on me. She was very professional, and her workspace is so comfy and cozy! The person who cuts my hair, Charlene, is awesome and knows exactly what to do every time. I drive 35 minutes every month to give them business

CLS (Southern Chickadee) Love Sandy. She works with whatever you ask her to do. Sandy is the only person my daughter trusts with her hair. Place is clean and access is good.

Meghan Allison Sandy did a full highlight and shadow root on my hair and it came out beautiful! She got the blonde perfect! I would highly recommend her! Salon is very cute and cozy and everyone makes you feel very comfortable and welcomed!

Dina Cote Jessica is amazing. She’s very knowledgeable and has years of experience. We didn’t dye my hair this time. My appointment was to get a haircut and discuss going grey. Jessica wants to seek her peers opinion of what I am looking for but most importantly she wants to pray about it. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED JESSICA
