1 /5 Nicole: I visited this store for the first time last week and was immediately drawn in by how amazing it smelled. The associate was friendly and helped me pick out several items, including a candle she highly recommended. Unfortunately, when I burned the candle, it didnt smell anything like the scent in the store or the other products I purchased.
Its an expensive $50 candle, and at other stores, if you dont like the scent or product, you can simply return or exchange it within the policy period. I came back within a week with my receipt, but the cashier said she had to text the owner for approval. The owners response was that she refused a return or exchange because they "cant resell it." You also cant speak with the owner directly, which makes the situation even more frustrating. That response shows a complete lack of customer care.
I genuinely wanted to support a small business, but if a small business isnt willing to stand behind its products or honor basic customer service standards, theres no reason to support it.
Save your money and shop somewhere to save yourself the hassle of dealing with something like this if youre not satisfied with the product.
After this disappointing experience, I wont be back.
