1 /5 Milissa Hunter: Last night, while I was in Burlington off Hwy 138 in Conyers, someone stole my purse right from my cart. It had every dime I had to my name, my key fob, keys to my home, my storage, my license, and every credit card, etc. The worst part was that I knew within a 5-minute period it was gone, but NO ONE would help me. The manager on duty (Jennifer) said the cameras didnt work and that she couldnt access the ones that did, but she was willing to take down my name and number and forward it to a district manager of Burlington, and once they had time to come to that location, they might have access to the cameras that did work. What a joke! If someone just took my money and disposed of everything else, the chance of getting anything back at that point would be slim to none. Also, this part probably hurt my heart the most - my phone died, so I asked to use their phone because I couldnt even charge mine if I wanted to. They said their store phones dont dial out, and every one of those cashiers had their personal cell phones, but not one of them was willing to let me use it to make a phone call so that I could get a ride out of there. I had a 4-year-old with me, for goodness sake. Never in my life have I lost my purse or had it stolen, so theres a first for everything. Be careful out there.
