1 /5 Trina Chandler: I just left the store and I was a little hesitant as to whether or not I should leave a review but I decided to do it anyway because people need to know how the way you treat people can affect their business. I went to purchase paraphernalia for my nephew who will be crossing this weekend as an Iota man. I was looking forward to gifting him paraphernalia but didn’t see anything for Iota. I waited patiently as the older lady help others. I just had a couple of questions but I had to wait to ask because she was so into the customers that I wouldn’t dare interrupt her. Well, when it finally came my turn she looked past me to help the gentleman behind me. So as I proceeded to inquire about the attire and as she tried to answer some of the questions she wouldn’t give me her undivided attention like she did the people prior to me because she was trying to help this man behind me. She said he had been in the store for awhile but my thing is apparently he was shopping and wasn’t ready to checkout. I stood in line waiting my turn and he could’ve done the same which he told her it was ok but instead she proceeded to ignore me and put me to the side so I politely left the store. Needless to say, I won’t be patronizing that store anymore. We as black people need to do better. You want us to support your businesses but you treat us like we’re nothing. That wasn’t cool at all…
