5 /5 Chet M: Great Park!
Book campsites WELL in advance if you want to camp during boating season/Holidays.
CHEAP $25/DAY Tent camping. May be more on weekends, during the busy season, or holidays.
RV and Camper Trailer parking on every campsite I saw. Yes, they allow them. Daily rates are Higer, Im sure.
There is a nice sized sandy beach swimming/tanning area with a volleyball net and maybe a swingset.
There is plenty of truck/boat trailer parking to launch your boat 24/7, and you can leave your truck and/or trailer in the parking lot 24/7, but dont do that; unless you need to have a vehicle to drive wherever outside of the park gates which are locked/closed at 10pm. This means you Can NOT drive Out Of or back IN Through the park gates after 10pm.
You can anchor your boat next to your campsite at MOST campsites all day and "maybe all night" (ask the camphosts about that) so you can have access to your vessel and campsite without having to dock, trailer your boat, and drive wherever you need to go.
There are a decent amount (20 maybe) of island campsites. Each is ON the water, except site 3 or 5 (not sure).
Every camsite has Nice fire pit, a nice picnic table, a basic small charcoal BBQ grill, and an inclosed trash can.
Each site has a level ground tent camping area with a small gravel surface. You may need a hammer to set your tent stakes into the ground.
The campsites are spread apart by 10-30 yards. Some are isolated away from all the others.
No electric or water hookups.
Bathrooms with showers are OKAY, but public campers can be disgusting and inconsiderate in a batroom. That shouldnt reflect on the fault of the park staff, though.
The camp hosts are Friendly and accommodating if you follow the park rules and talk to them about any kind of special requests or permissions.
