5 /5 Greg Kimball: I recently visited the Thomasville History Center at 725 N Dawson St, in Thomasville, GA. I highly recommend taking a self guided tour of the History Center. The exhibits discuss the history of the area including tourism, and the businesses and how history has impacted the area. There are numerous period buildings on the property including a bowling ball land. Its worth the trip.

5 /5 Mary Palacios: Came for my birthday and had a wonderful time ! They have what I’m going to call “Historic Bowling” that they actually let you bowl. So much to look at you will definitely wants to put some time aside to really appreciate all the pieces of history. The people that work the desk and help take care of the grounds are super knowledgeable, I would certainly take a moment to ask them questions. Truly enjoyed my time !!

5 /5 Lisa Valon: Nice area to visit to get the history of Thomasville. You see a short film and tour the houses on the grounds. There is even a bowling alley, which was fun!

5 /5 LB: We lived here for years. My late husband’s family are from Thomasville, Ga! They still live there today. My late husband loves history and this was the first place he took us to! He said… We all must cherish our past. The people, places and things that make us who we are today. Thomasville has the most interesting history. This was a place of Presidents and Dignitaries who once vacationed and lived here. Get this the streets are named after those who will and have lived on in history forever. The museum tells all the stories of the past. This place has a wealth of information on Thomasville ! I will bring my daughter here one of these days so she can see and show her around where her family is from!
