1 /5 LS: I had a horrible experience here yesterday. I first received a pedicure and then a manicure. During my pedicure, my tech was nice so I just brushed off when she cut my toe very badly. I then moved on to the manicure with the same tech. She wraps my fingers in wrap to soak them in oil. For one, I had no nail polish on so I’m not sure why this was necessary. She then leaves for 15-20 minutes meanwhile my fingers are completely pruned being in oil (or whatever it was?) for this long. She comes back to tell me she had been taking her break. I understand needing a break but maybe not when you have a client soaking their fingers unnecessarily. She takes my fingers out of the oil and proceeds to tell me my fingers/hands are way too oily. Well, that’s your fault ma’am. The way she wrapped my fingers made it so that I couldn’t remove them myself when my fingers were totally pruned. I washed my hands with no soap just as she instructed me, dried them completely as she instructed, and she began my manicure. It was not enjoyable in the slightest as she cut me multiple times. I’m assuming it’s because she let my hands remain in oil for so long, but none of the gel products were working nor did they stay on. I did nothing different than I have ever done at any manicure. She proceeds to make smart remarks such as holding my fingers up and saying “look what you did!” “You did not do anything I told you to do and now it’s not working” “oh my GOSH”, etc. proceeds to huff and puff. The tech acted as if I had done something wrong when this was not the case. Finally, the owner takes over and I’m so glad. She completed my gel nails in maybe 10 minutes when I had been traumatized by the previous tech for 45 minutes. The owner was very nice but my nails are not lasting today (the day after) and my fingers are completely peeling and dry. I have two nails already missing pieces and coming apart. I’m grateful the owner was kind and took over but I do wish my nails would be lasting longer than already coming off the next day.
