1 /5 Heather de Wit: I came in prelightened and wanted a little dimension and a shape up. Told Nancy that as long as it was light and would blend with my grays when they grew in, do whatever just make it look good. We discussed colors I liked. Some ash foils and a toner. Came back from the bowl all over DARK GREY with uneven streaks. It was a NIGHTMARE. I tried so hard to hold it back, but a few tears rolled out. So she stops putting foils to lighten it, pulls me back to the shampoo bowl and puts bleach and shampoo all over my hair. Nancy goes to the back. While Im waiting I hear CACKLING coming from said area. Then I hear oh, "Im being too loud, shes going to hear me". Then she proceeds to butcher my haircut after she comes back out. So now, I have orange hair thats MUCH shorter than it should have been. This was the WORST experience Ive had at a salon in over a decade. Literally asked Nancy if I said something that offended her bc I heard the laughing and what was said. She said they were laughing about someone else and then backtracked saying she didnt know what i was talking about. I dont know anyone at the salon, I dont know what I couldve said to upset her. I just wanted some dimension and a shape up. I cant believe any customer would be treated this way.
*Editing to add: I called and spoke with the owner, Tina, who refused to do anything to make this right even though her stylist did the opposite of everything I asked.I asked for cool tone blonde, left with a fried, brassy, choppy mess. I even offered to take my review down if she would refund the fee for the absolute butchering of my hair. Welp. I guess the reviews stay- and Im still getting my money back. My credit card company was happy to make it right for me.
