Thor The Guide Dog: This city square and historic statue are among the most beautiful in Savannah that we visited during our stay! Would definitely recommend visiting if you can. Detailed signs around the square share information about Savannahs past.
H O: Nice and relaxing park to feel history and nature in Savannah. Savannah became much better place recently. More high end restaurants and hotels. You definitely see more tourist from US and from other countries. I have seen more fun activities than before. It feels safer than 10 years ago. More places to park cars.
Bianca Shockley: This was a creative one of a kind production. The entire cast and crew were captivating from beginning until the end of the show. The show was interactive and had great light hearted jokes in between. As a cast they put their all into reliving the haunted stories of Savannah. I highly recommend this to anyone and everyone instead of a normal ghost tour. You won’t be disappointed!
*Heads up: when you arrive at the location it is pretty dark and is kind of a dirt road. There are buildings that are on the left side with no lights on. This is the location it is correct and they are standing outside the doors to help guide you into the stage area*
Red Holiday: Highly recommended. I was hesitant to walk over from the Beech Institute cause it seemed quite a hike on Google maps. But Im glad I did because I got to see a lot of great homes and it wasnt that far at all. Really interesting history and Iman is very knowledgeable and great personality.
Erica Solazzo: Our tour guide was very personable and engaging! Great knowledge of the history of the sites we visited! Definitely will be doing this again!
Edwin Antillon: The day time trolley tour is great. I love touring the historic district and learning about history. This is a fun compliment to that tour and where you learn about historic figures fates, made privy to gossip, and of course spooky stories. Lol. The picture is from a stop during the tour at the Telfair (house) Museum.
Alisa B.: Really kind and helpful staff at the Visitor Center. We enjoyed the free ferry. There is also a free shuttle bus we took around town. The city has a lot to offer and makes it easy for visitors to get around.
Susan Slagle: Our tour guide was Champ. Champ was so knowledgeable about the history of the area. It was a great experience and would definitely recommend.
Carol Ann Jason: Harper Fowlkes House is a lovely and well cared for house. We enjoyed our tour because it was very relaxed and interactive. Our knowledgeable guide did not use the typical script but gave us important information and then talked to us about things we were interested in and answered our questions. We were able to see rooms on the first and second floor, as well as kitchen and storage area in the basement. The back porch is inviting and looks over a lovely area that may be rented for parties and wedding.
Heather DeVito: Very pretty square with a lot of history around it. Not one of the most decorative squares, but quiet and serene if youre looking to relax without the crowds.
