5 /5 Davis D. Janowski: Savannah is too full of history, beautiful parks, squares, plaques, monuments and restored, historic homes. I admit that I had never heard of Sgt. Jesper and enjoyed reading about his exploits documented here on plaques, interpretive signs and the centerpiece monument. I was torn, as a Southerner by birth, to get excited at noting Shermans HQ and the plaque on his March to the Sea---fascinating all.
