5 /5 Travis Fuhrman: I believe they may have to take off Google maps as a viewing platform due to new landowners who have definitely marked a walking path towards the trestle as private property and it appears those residents in this tucked away neighborhood have gotten the township to put up No Parking signs. I got out of my truck to take a couple quick picks of the viaduct and jumped back in because of the signage. It’s a shame as this is a marvel of engineering of yester years and still is standing and is in use to carry trains over the North Broad River. It’s 1500’ long, 202’ feet high and was reconstructed into two tracks and what you see today in 1915-1919.

5 /5 Skunkhogger Ps-4: One of, if not the highest railroad bridges in Georgia . Several great places to photograph trains around the bridge. Be aware though of trains coming from the south, (Atlanta), theyre coming downhill, and can sneak up on you as the locomotives arent as noises as those going uphill. Havent been there for a number of years, so some vantage point a may now be obscured by trees. Pay attention to signs, and DO NOT TRESPASS on railroad properties, or private lands! Also, do not under any circumstances enter upon the bridge itself. Extreme danger! No place to escape an oncoming train! STAY OFF OF THE BRIDGE! You will be arrested for trespassing, if caught by the Law. Youll be caught by DEATH if caught by a train.

1 /5 nope no: Let me save you the .5 mile mud and water drive into the woods: it’s gated off and there are signs posted everywhere. The owners have no idea what they’ve got here. I would’ve paid $5 to see this. What an unbelievable waste.

3 /5 RL Fountain: Beautiful train trestle although its located in a residential area with the only place to park add a homeowners lot. Im not sure if you can stay until a train comes through or not?
