1 /5 Maggie Soto: Please make sure you don’t leave any of your belongings behind.
I’m extremely disappointed by the lack of honesty and integrity at this business. I came in to get my nails done and accidentally dropped my AirPods, which had been in my pocket. I realized this right after leaving the salon and returned immediately. Unfortunately, my Find My app wasn’t working at the time, so I couldn’t track them. I asked the employees if they had seen anything, but they claimed they hadn’t.
I called the salon every day and left my contact information, as it was the only place I had visited that day and the last location I had my AirPods. Eventually, my Find My app began working again and showed the AirPods were at an apartment complex off Bells Ferry Rd. I marked them as lost in the app, hoping someone would return them.
This weekend, I received an alert that my AirPods were now located back at the nail salon. I drove there immediately and asked again if anyone had found them. At the same time, my app notified me that the left earbud was out of the case—and I noticed an employee wearing just one earbud. I activated the sound on the Find My app, and the alert started ringing from inside that same employee’s purse. She claimed they belonged to her daughter, but I had the AirPods registered in my app and had the serial number to prove they were mine.
Eventually, she returned them. But the fact that she initially denied having them, while the rest of the staff backed her up, is deeply troubling. They insisted that they always return lost items, but in this case, that was clearly not true.
I will not support a business that tolerates dishonest behavior and fails to hold employees accountable.
