Madison Brooks I went here a little over a week ago and they seemed to do a pretty good job, although the man (I think the owner) hurt me multiple time and didnt apologize. Also, the SNS to be pricey. 3 days later, several of the nails began to crack. Now, 9 days later, almost every nail is cracked, the top coat is coming off of several of them, and one has broken where it was cracked! SNS typically lasts me 2-3 weeks.

Dallas Franco I tried this place twice - just for gel both times, no tips - and the first time was okay, a little sloppy. I went recently and the gel manicure I got peeled off after 8 days… probably won’t be going back.

Rachael Lopez BEWARE! DO NOT GO HERE. I had a HORRIBLE experience with Kim. After coming into the salon for the first time spur of the moment, I asked if they had time for a straight forward pedicure and SNS Color change, the specifying THREE TIMES that I currently had SNS with tips already less than a week before, and since they were new & I loved the shape/length I did not want to remove the tips I only wanted a color change. I have done this before at other nail salons, so I made sure to chose a darker color than the nude SNS I came in with, and so confirming again on the plan with the manicurist, Kim, while my pedicure started, Kim began to use the file away the top coat of the SNS per usual. I then saw she was pulling out mini foils & cotton balls as if to use acetone, and again I & even went so far as to ask “Isn’t that going to eat away the tips??” And she profusely reassured me it would not mess with the tips -big surprise: she was wrong. I was shocked and disappointed as I asked her why she said the tips would be fine, and she loudly started to bulldoze me saying “I needed new tips anyways because otherwise the color would be too thick, etc” which makes NO SENSE because I have done SNS color change with tips MANY TIMES before at other (clearly better!) salons. I honestly believed she lied trying to trick me into getting a whole new set of tips with SNS manicure, even after she was done on her tirade trying to cover her lie &/or inability to do her job, I said since it was too late that I would just cancel the manicure & dip and just finish the unwanted removal. Even then, she kept trying to bring over tips cases and different SNS dip powders saying she would just do a full set later saying just use my natural nails that at this point are stubs because she just purposely dissolved my tips. She didn’t even apologize, just acted put out as I waited for her to sloppily complete the removal (that I absolutely DID NOT want to begin with!). On the pedicure menu it literally says there is a clean tools & plastic liner add-on, as if that isn’t something that should be obvious as good business for a nail salon in 2024 -BIG RED FLAG that they wouldn’t otherwise be using CLEAN TOOLS?!? I wish I would’ve read the other reviews before coming in on a whim. Please take heed and do not bother coming to this un-busy, un-caring, dirty, rude nail salon.

Jennifer Julian For a first-time customer, youd think they would do a much better job with a simple gel manicure and Spa pedicure. I decided to give this place a shot since I live nearby. Unfortunately, I will not be returning. I went in on 5/20 at 5:30 pm and posted this on 5/21 (morning time). I could not call to request my mani get corrected bc the shop was closed. My nails have several spots where there is no polish and most of the polish was on my cuticles causing it to lift, chip, and peel in UNDER 24hrs. My big toe was cut with the nail file and was poorly shaped.... Look at the photos and decide for yourself. I left a tip although it was undeserved.

Romana Cozzolino Just getting a pedi. Nothing fancy. The treatment is relaxing. Fairly priced . They place spa music in the background. The workers dont holler or chatter with each other. I enjoy this establishment.

Phoenix Bray She only takes appointments, due to her working by herself during Covid-19. She completed a sns manicure on myself and my daughter. I also got a pedicure. The message chair was heavenly. My daughter got designs on her nails and Petral did a perfect job. She cares deeply about how you feel about your experience and wants to make sure you are happy. She offers beverages. She also has some snacks at the counter. She is very funny and you really dont feel like you have been there for hours, but like your catching up with a friend.

Brooke B. I’ve been going to this place for about four years. I am always happy with my experience. I always go to Don for my acrylics. I used to have very long nails (so I would break a good few of them) and Don would always try to fit me in to fix them up for me.

Amy von Kelsch The service here is exceptional and all technicians do outstanding work. I moved here from CA where the salons have to be very good to compete, so I’m picky. Donald the Manager works 6-7 days a week to ensure a full staff. The shop is hygienic, tools are sterilized, liners are used in the foot baths. Drains are cleaned after each customer. The prices are very reasonable and no one tries to up sell you. Staff are friendly and are not distracted while working on a customer. Vietnamese is spoken only to explain what a customer wants if the tech doesn’t quite understand. I have yet to have a bad experience here. Highly recommend!

Kellie M The service here is so terrible . Second time coming here to a 6:00pm appointment and they rush to do everything. They even cleaned the chair while I was still sitting in it. I was getting my toes and nails done and they were both being rough to the point of discomfort and I said something about it, they seemed annoyed. Why schedule me to come in if you want to leave at a certain time. I’m so disappointed. For the price they charge you should have a better quality of customer service. I had a pic of how I wanted my toes done and requested my fingers to match however I left with incomplete toes and fingers and still had to pay for an incomplete job. They had the nerve to tell me come early next time, when they told me to come this late.

Deneen Johnson This was my first time getting SNS, and one nail cracked within a few hours. I went back to get it fixed, but the next day, two more cracked. The nail tech did a sloppy job—the set looked messy and unprofessional. I won’t be going back and will be finding a new salon. I really wanted to like this salon since it’s down the street from my house.

S Williams They are at their new location on Windy Hill by the FedEx Kinkos. I went in for a pedicure which was done by Tim. I had the honey sugar pedicure and the massage he gave my legs was so relaxing I almost fell asleep. He did a great job on my toes as well. His personality was inviting and jovial. Will return! Oh and I almost forgot to mention that their new spa chairs have a heated seat option! I used it for a few mins and it was relaxing to the upper parts of my thighs.

Be Planted I have been coming here for my acrylic nails and gel pedicures for close to a year and they always do a phenomenal job! Very professional and my nails stay on and look great for weeks if need be. I love going first thing in the morning when it is quiet. They always treat me with kindness and hospitality. I’m sad I will be moving out of the area and will not be able to keep going here!

Fair Review Never Again! The nail tech [Name Unknown, Dyed Blonde hair, Black/White Strip Dress)] today, 5.8.25, had a harsh tone and rude attitude. I have already been on the fence about the cleanliness of this salon and professionalism of SOME of the techs. She only softened closer to completion and "Tip" time. This will be my last time due to poor service.

Isabella Marie After being on and off about this place, I can confidently say I will not be returning. I decided to give it a second chance after a poor experience years ago, but that was a mistake. What was supposed to be a simple gel fill-in with a color change turned into a frustrating ordeal. The technician didn’t ask about the type of polish I wanted and applied gel to my nails, despite my sensitive nails, which was something I had never done before. On top of that, I had to be incredibly specific about the design and shape, as if they didn’t know how to do a basic French gel nail fill. The technician was also constantly stopping to answer his phone, making me feel like I was more of an inconvenience than a client. Ultimately, I left with none of the results I hoped for. For a "luxury" nail salon, this experience was beyond disappointing.

Calliope Bonita I found Ivy Nail Bar by review on maps; I didn’t really expect anything, just wanted to get my nails done, but I’m so satisfied with what I got. Staff are friendly and have experience that makes me feel no worry. Gel pedicure is amazing; come try it, guys!

I work in the food industry and need my acrylic to be STURDY. I was opening boxes with these bad boys!!! Lasted 3 weeks with only one break which happened at the salon while I was there to do a fill. Consistently getting complements.

Emily Kopp I called ahead on a Saturday afternoon to check if there was a wait- no wait. I showed up 10 minutes later, warm friendly greeting with two techs ready and waiting for me. Wendy and Jenny took excellent care of me - really great attention to my mani/pedi, it was simple and basic and exactly what I wanted. Both of my techs were very thorough with the massage on my legs, arms and even neck and shoulders! My skin is so soft, my nails look great, and I’ll definitely be back when I need some “me” time!

Ruth Parisca Realtor Ive visited this place multiple times, but unfortunately, my SNS nails never last. Each time I get them done, the product starts coming off within a few days. Initially, I thought it was just a stroke of bad luck and tried getting my nails done by someone else, but it seems like this issue is consistent among all the technicians. It appears that they may have been trained to do nails in a way that they dont last long, probably to ensure customers return more frequently. As a result, I have decided not to return to this place. Ive found another nearby salon where my nails last for 3 weeks without any peeling issues.

LJenae Williams Overall, there quality was good, but I didn’t like the fact that I was cut four different times on four fingers, and one cut was really deep. I understand that accidents happened maybe once but to have four fingers cut out of 10 fingers was a bit much and one being that it was real deep. Everyone was real nice I just didnt like the fact that I was cut that much. Ive been here in the past for my feet because I normally dont get my nails done unless its a special Occasion but I wont get my nails done anymore here.

Until I walked into hot nails on a whim. For the first time in a year I felt really happy with the result. Sandy was so kind and did such an amazing job I will be using her from this point forward. Jennifer Bloodworth My mom recommended this place to me, so I decided to give it try. Pedicure was okay. Manicure I got from Ann was god awful. I always get colored tips with one accent tip. The colors were beautiful fall colors so I was pleased with the color selection; however, Anns skills leave something to be desired. This is by far the worst manicure Ive ever received. The paint on the tips is glopped on so theres a bump on the tip of each finger. The curve on the tip isnt even on a lot of my nails. The pink acrylic she used didnt match the pink that was previously used, so you can see where the old acrylic ends and the new begins. Its just an absolute dumpster fire of a manicure, and Im so disappointed and angry with myself because I will not go back there to have them redone because thats not the type of person I am, so Im stuck with this ugly, gross manicure until I get paid again, so I cab have everything taken off and replaced with a brand new set.

Fabiola They always do a really great job! They are always willing and will to replicate whatever colors or designs that I bring in! They are very fast, very efficient and precise. They did nick my finger with the drill, and left them a bit too long when I asked them to trim them down further. But they do the best work for an affordable price! The people there are very friendly and do great work! Their nails last a long time and will look amazing even past the 3-4 week mark!

Shelly foster I feel bad saying this, and I went back and forth about leaving a review… but due to human error (it was a mistake), I have a huge gash on the side of my foot during a pedicure. She sliced my foot so badly, they had to clean it and bandage it while I was there. I was very surprised that I still needed to pay for my service received on 2/14. Yesterday, I needed to go to urgent care because my foot is so infected. So not only did I pay for the pedicure, but also an urgent care bill with prescriptions. I do understand that human error happens, but I couldn’t believe I had to pay. The pain has been horrible this week.

Mindy Mielnikowski Never Again Lush at Merchants Walk Terrible French SNS at Lush today. They left the pink i had on for Valentine’s Day (visible in photos) and the lines are jagged on the tips. In addition to doing this terrible French Manicure on me (which took 2 hours!), they also nicked my daughter twice (bloody). Back to Bluegrass tomorrow to get these removed and get my hands re-done. Not sure why I tried somewhere new. Would give 0 stars if I could. Do not recommend!

kayla m 10 years of getting my nails done and this was by far my worst experience. The technician aggressively was peeling off my sns with nail clippers instead of soaking them. She cut my nail down the middle and it started bleeding. It was hurting and I had to ask for acetone and a bandaid, but her and the manager were insisting I put a nail on top of it. That is a sanitary issue and could cause an infection. I ended up just walking out after my pedicure, which also I got upcharged for. I wanted the classic pedicure that was $28 and she gave me the $45 pedicure and when I said I didn’t ask for that, the technician fought me on it. I ended up paying and leaving. Not to mention, I have come to this salon 2 times before and my sns chipped after 2 days both times and I had to come back to get it fixed, which I’ve never had to do for any other salon I’ve been to. I will never be back here.

SHANTRESIA COOK The worst experience ever! I arrived showed them my nails which were coffin shaped! I needed two repaired & fill-in. Picked color and she started to do my nails she not only cut me but did not shape my nails, nor remove the lifted acrylic and never said before starting we do not specialize in coffin shape nails.

Tiffaney Bentley - Wilbur Made an appointment for 11am. They were still working on me 1:15p. I was supposed to be elsewhere at 1p. It was just standard acrylic nails. No nail art. There was zero sense of urgency. So just know going in that an appointment doesnt mean squat to them. I was unhappy with the overall job they did as well. I originally wanted a French manicure, My nails were already long. They talked me into acrylic tips, but then cut them shorter than my original nails were! And they made the nails look thick & chunky. It was not a good experience.

Erin M I usually go to a salon that’s downtown, but decided to go here since I was in the area. The lady who did my toes/pedicure did a spectacular job, no complaints there. However, I got a full gel/acrylic set and it didn’t match the quality I expected for the amount I paid. The lady who did my nails was very nice, but I didn’t notice how poorly the set was done until after I left. The shape/sizing is inconsistent and looks like not much effort was put in. I asked for a square shape and it looks like the nails just weren’t filed enough to have a nice clean, consistent shape. The design is also kinda messy. I pay about the same amount for way higher quality at my usual salon and am always scared to try somewhere new for this very reason. The staff was very nice, but I don’t think I’ll be returning here.
