Everyone was super friendly and welcoming as soon as I walked through the door. Hannah, my hygienist, was very thorough and explained in detail issues with my teeth. (Good and bad). Dr Moon was very thorough as well and she made me comfortable moving forward with my next step of taking care of my small issues with my teeth.

Advanced Dentistry of Athens - Athens Debra Justice: Terrible 1st interaction with this company! When you call the number you will get a call center(you are not told you are not speaking with the office)who tells you one thing and you think everything is good to go for your appointment. Then the office texts you and without speaking with you, gives you some requirement for first visit that the person you spoke with before never mentioned and do they cancel your appointment 2hrs before the appointment! This affected me taking take off to go to said appointment. Thanks for inconveniencing me and wasting my time! Will be finding a different dental practice that doesnt have such a breakdown in communication!
Smith Dental Care of Athens - Athens Mallory S: Went for a root canal and left crying both visits. Dr Ahn is the reason I will never visit this office again. I would have not been back after the first visit, but I needed a tooth, and I had hopes the second visit would be better. Nope. No communication as to what is happening during both procedures. Jerking and yanking my head around. No checking in to see if I was ok. Shaving a tooth that was not being worked on without my knowledge?? Then when I ask I get what’s going on I get “oh well I like the length of the tooth we replaced, so for your bite we will shave this other tooth” I already had to get a new tooth, and you’re going to start shaving my natural tooth without my knowledge. Visible tears towards the end of the first visit, no concern at all, except for his assistant who checked in on me. Second visit I was just so pissed off I had to walk away. The rest of the staff is very lovely! No problem with them. Dr. Ahn needs to work on being more personable with his patients and have better communication. I don’t want to be viewed as “just another job”.
OH and when I went in for my first appointment, the paperwork I was filling out was for THE WRONG TOOTH!! What if I hadn’t caught that in the paperwork? Ridiculous…
Athens Dental Group - Watkinsville Laci Smith: Dr Richardson and his team are absolutely fantastic. The whole staff was friendly, welcoming, and made me feel at ease. Dr Richardson took extra time to answer my questions and did a thorough exam. Kimberly the hygienist was excellent and gave me one of the best cleanings I have ever had. Highly recommend this practice.

My dentist was so kind, patient, and gentle, I felt completely at ease the whole time. They truly treat you like family here, and that makes all the difference. Shoutout to Sheena, the VA coordinator—she’s always happy, cheerful, and her energy lights up the room! From start to finish, the experience was smooth and positive. I’ve already recommended this office to a few friends, and I’ll keep spreading the word. If you want great care with great vibes, this is the spot!

Timothy Road Dental Care - Athens HUAQIN XIA: My spouse and I switched to this dental clinic about two years ago. One common pattern we noticed is that every new patient is required to undergo a gum treatment. Initially, we thought it was fine, and we certainly spent a considerable amount of money on it. However, after the treatment, we didn’t see significant improvement in our dental health. It seems like this is a standard procedure for all new patients.
The front desk staff is quite friendly, which is appreciated. However, the hygienist who did my cleaning was not my favorite. She made my condition sound much worse than it probably was, and I followed her recommendations, but unfortunately, I saw no improvement. Interestingly, after a while, she stopped recommending further gum treatments and instead referred me to another hygienist for my cleanings. I noticed that the second hygienist did a much better and more thorough job compared to the first one.
I also had a filling done, which caused severe pain afterward. At one point, I couldn’t even chew on that side. Later, I realized the issue was due to improper shaping of the filling. I went back to have it adjusted, which helped slightly, but I still ended up avoiding chewing on that side for almost six months.

Everyone is always so nice and welcoming and seems to truly enjoy their job, which is comforting from a patient standpoint. Every appointment I have had they’ve run right on schedule and are prompt with visits. Also, Dr. Yuhn is such a joy and does great work! Would recommend this group to anyone seeking dental care.
Athens Smiles - Athens Lakshani Perera: I’ve been a customer since 2021. I have paid thousand a of dollars to these people even with my insurance. When I couldnt find a ride on time to my 9 am appointment , I called them and said I’ll be late 8 min. Instead of 9. 08 I was there at 9.15. They cancelled my appointment without telling me and charged me $50. Still in surprise how they treat their 4 year old customers. That $50 will be my last payment for Athens Smiles.
