5 /5 paige cleveland: This park was fantastic! The walking/bike trails were awesome... Maybe a little upkeep is needed on the boardwalks, but absolutely lovely. The RV site was clean and level.... We plan to come back.

5 /5 Amy Medford: We had a great time camping and hiking. The park staff are wonderful and very helpful. The facilities were clean and well kept. The hiking trails are lovely and we saw lots of wildlife, birds, and flowers. Due to damage from hurricane Helene some of the trails were closed. We will absolutely be back to hike when they are fully restored.

Courtney Ramirez: My kids haven’t been to this park in years because we live out of town. But it was perfect on a nice weather day. We didn’t use the sprinklers this time, but I love that and it’s been there since I was a kid. I like that they have play spaces for different age groups and shade, and places for parents to sit. Also have water fountains and water bottle filling stations. Walking trails are a plus too!

Glenn Waring: Shaded trails, level ground for peaceful short hikes (up to 5 miles or less). The observation tower has a view of the river and trails. Difficult to fish in the Chattahoochee because of the steep banks. Entry is self service drop $5 in the honor box so have singles or a fiver.

matthew jerkovic: What an amazing and humbling experience. Coming from a military family and a father who served in Vietnam. Seeing the wall of MIA soldiers that are still missing brought a tear to my eye. Unfortunately, my father passed away before him, and I could see it together. The day I was there, a woman walked up to two gentlemen who helped those find someone. This woman told them that there was a soldier from her hometown missing in action. She looked up the soldiers name on different websites with no luck. Even on this day, she was unable to find him. They opened up their book with moments they found his name. They told her to turn around with in two steps, and they pointed out his name on the wall. It was an amazing experience to see. She can go back to her hometown and tell people that she found his name. It was an amazing experience. If you havent been here, you need to come here.
