5 /5 Benjiro Hida: What a great show piece for the City of Newnan! A grass amphitheatre with elevated brick stage, natural grass seating and edges with Roman columns. The Jazz concert was awesome. Several food trucks parked along the street near the columns. The City of Newnan police provided security but everyone was law abiding and enjoying a beautiful sunset and crescent moon. We had a great surprise birthday party

5 /5 Gypsi Paniagua: Quiet, Calm, nice place to sit and wind down. I went in the afternoon during the week. The bathroom was clean and able to be used. There were shady areas in which to sit as well. There were tables to have lunch at but not much for children to do.

5 /5 Tucker Sharita (SharitaINC): Such a beautiful clean park. I loved all the beautiful foliage of this well kept park. It was such refreshing scenery and all the shaded area around the tables is so nice and creates the perfect spot for relief on a hot day.

Glenn Waring: Shaded trails, level ground for peaceful short hikes (up to 5 miles or less). The observation tower has a view of the river and trails. Difficult to fish in the Chattahoochee because of the steep banks. Entry is self service drop $5 in the honor box so have singles or a fiver.

matthew jerkovic: What an amazing and humbling experience. Coming from a military family and a father who served in Vietnam. Seeing the wall of MIA soldiers that are still missing brought a tear to my eye. Unfortunately, my father passed away before him, and I could see it together. The day I was there, a woman walked up to two gentlemen who helped those find someone. This woman told them that there was a soldier from her hometown missing in action. She looked up the soldiers name on different websites with no luck. Even on this day, she was unable to find him. They opened up their book with moments they found his name. They told her to turn around with in two steps, and they pointed out his name on the wall. It was an amazing experience to see. She can go back to her hometown and tell people that she found his name. It was an amazing experience. If you havent been here, you need to come here.

If you’re just wandering and randomly come across this museum, it may not be for you. Free admission (with option for donations that go to the museum or local natural disaster aid relief) and ~3-5 rooms to walk around

Brian Monroe: Great little park. Splash pad is wonderfully well kept and lots of fun for the kids. Right next to a playground so they can burn off some more energy

SAM Shortline Excursion Train - Cordele

mark singleton: Our first time riding the Christmas train and my family and I loved it! Santa came and gave presents to all the kids. Everyone on board received cookies and hot cocoa and a free present. Definitely coming back next year!

Russell Fernandes: What a great place to enjoy nature with a huge slice of history. The bird watching opportunities were a bit limited for me as most of the avian life stayed behind the curtains of Spanish moss. But the birdsong keeps things cheerful, especially if the weather cooperates. Comparatively isolated in terms of food and drink options being nearby, so best to pack a picnic lunch ahead of time and enjoy the day.

American Legion Military Museum and Post Cafe - Trenton

Shooter James: Great homestyle food! Owners and workers very friendly and great prices. They take interest in customers and will even eat with you. Menu specials daily and can even call in your lunch order. Fine addition to the town!
