1 /5 Valencia Carmichael: Kim the owner and her daughter who works at the salon became very unprofessional during my visit. The horrific experience escalated to the daughter (whom the mother said would be my stylist) didnt give me a friendly vibe from the time I sat in the chair. This was my first and last visit there. Let me mention the interactions I had with these people that will show the side of their personality her positive remark viewers may be shocked to hear that they showcased to me in which people who who work in this line of business should never show the level of disrespect that I experienced there. Being told that I would need to go purchase my own hair , advising Kim of my budget, describing the hairstyle but willing to be flexible on the style due to my budget, and to looking in the mirror twice (as the daughter let me see the progression of the style as she turned me around in the chair to see). The daughter became very rude after I asked her for 1 request when she turned me around in her chair. At this point, she told me to get out of her chair using profanity and then Kim runs to her chair and instead of her deeascalating the matter she encouraged the unnecessary behavior and told me to leave and this behavior was witnessed by other stylist and the couple of customers there. If Kim had a problem with my hour later return to the salon going to get hair at her request, she should have brought it up when I called her to let her know I was on my way back (she didnt bother to find out why the delay she obviously developed an attitude about it and later decided to bring it up loudly in front of people in the salon in which she purposely announced which really made her look unprofessional. Also if my budget was not going to be sufficient for the simple style I requested she should have told me this when I called her (Kim) to get directions to the salon. She did not have to escalate the matter unnecessarily. If I could rate my experience a ZERO, I would.
