Gabrielle I had an absolutely awful experience at this salon with stylist Jenny and would strongly advise anyone considering her services to RUN the other way. From the moment I sat in her chair, it was clear she had no intention of listening to my requests or providing quality service. Despite clearly asking for a Farrah Fawcett-inspired curls, Jenny admitted she didn’t even know who Farrah Fawcett was (at the end of my services), then had the nerve to try charging me extra when I reminded her about the style.
Even worse was the way she handled my hair. She applied so much pressure with the flat iron that I literally felt my ends snapping off, and when I asked her to ease up, she blamed MY hair, calling it "dry and brittle" instead of adjusting her technique. By the time I got home, my hair smelled burnt—my teenager pointed it out immediately—and my braids were STILL WET, proving she didn’t even dry my hair properly before frying it with heat.
The most infuriating part? The bait-and-switch pricing. She quoted me $125 for a wash, silk press, and curls and said it was the salons pricing. She made me aware taxes would be charged but a perfect $10 was suspicious "but no percentage for tax listed" The receipt falsely listed services I never received (a trim and hydration), and when I questioned it, she just said, "This is my price." She even admitted she charges less outside the salon, confirming this place is a scam. What happened to the $125 being the salons rate. Meanwhile when I visited the website for the salon it stated a silk press was $85.
Jenny was unprofessional, dismissive, and careless with my hair. Despite all this, I still tipped her $10 out of courtesy, but she didn’t deserve a single penny. Save yourself the frustration, money, and hair damage—**DO NOT book with Jenny or this salon.** You’re better off doing your own hair than risking this nightmare.

Aundrea Taylor On Sunday October 20, 2019 I had a hair appointment with Jane at 9:30 a.m. I sat in my car and waited for her, about 15 minutes Jane showed up.. I drove to Clayton County to go to Beauty Master since she said the hair store next door didn’t have anything’. This drive took about an hour due to traffic. When I got back to the shop, she said, to me “Dang, you must went to Alabama to get the hair”. I said “no the traffic was congested”. On Tuesday, October 22, about 30 or more twists had my natural hair sticking out, serval were slipping out and some had even already fell out. On that Friday, October 25th I talked to the receptionist and shortly after, an appointment was scheduled for that Sunday, October 27. On Sunday she texted me that she wouldn’t be able to do it. Fast forward, Monday, October 28 Jane blamed my hair texture and length for being that reason for my hair sticking out. While in the chair Jane told me that “because of you, I can’t even see my 4:30 appointment until Friday at 5:30 and that I should’ve just texted her again instead of telling her manager that she didn’t. While redoing my hair she notices that several twists have fell out. She says I could come back Tuesday or Wednesday to get them fixed. I went back yesterday October 30, and I tell you she was the rudest and had the nastiest attitude. I waited for her about 20 minutes until she showed up to put back the twists that had fallen out. While finishing up, I asked Jane if she could redo one twist in the front edge that was hanging down about 2 inches. She said “what, I’m not about to keep redoing your hair and having you come back to the shop every time something go wrong, I’ve fixed the ones that fell out, so I’m not about to fix something I just did Monday”. I explained to her if she would’ve done it right I would’ve never had to come back to the shop and that the 2 times I came back were very valid, I didn’t pay $195 for someone to have my hair sticking out of twists, get attitudes with me, and argue with me just because they have to redo their work that wasn’t obviously done right or with the right products the first time. She started going off on me, her accent got really heavy as she told me she’s not about to do it and explained to CiCi that she just did it on Monday. So, CiCi ended up putting in the last twist and she continued to argue with me about my hair and coming up to the shop for her to redo it. When in reality if it was done greatly the first time, I wouldn’t have ever had to return to the shop for anything. I spoke with the manager and told her what happened, their was more of her acting shock of Jane’s actions and words instead of an apology, or even acknowledging that she was wrong and that I shouldn’t be treated that way, an apology would’ve been FANTASTIC! I must say, she ONLY apologized that Monday after seeing how bad my hair was. I highly suggest not going to this shop. There are way more places nearby that has professional hairstylists, nice hairstylists, and knowledgeable hairstylists who don’t treat you as if you’re a problem. If there’s anything I can say good, the receptionist was really helpful and CiCi was really professional. She also did my last twist since Jane refused to.

Alvie Hunter Communication with stylist to achieve the results I wanted wasn’t helpful. My first experience with braids. My braids were exactly what I did not want. Too small, too long, and poorly designed. I paid over 300 dollars. Had to pay another stylist 60 dollars to cut and style the next day. I gave them another opportunity to take braids down. I paid almost 100 dollars. I won’t be returning. Overpriced!!!!!
