1 /5 Sarah Phillips: Paid $15 per person to walk around what looked like to be a junkyard. Luckily, I was able to get my money back. It took about 10 minutes to realize that this place is filled with nothing but junk and none of it having a back story? Not really worth $15, but to each their own!

5 /5 Mandy Bean: Howard Finster’s Paradise Gardens is playful and thought-provoking with buildings and walkways filled with bottle caps, bicycle parts, and paint --- all created from Finsters brain. There is no museum walls - you walk through, touch (where permitted), ponder, and feel. In the glossy world we live in --- it was refreshing to see the art raw and weathering. Its so original. I think you could go over and over and see new things every time. And then, there’s Mary! What a gem! We chatted with her for a while and she was so warm and insightful that we could’ve stayed and talked for hours. We cant wait to go back once the restoration is complete! Such fun!!!!

4 /5 Toni Suarez: This is an usually wonderful place. Reviewing the history is a must so that you understand the art and structures on the grounds. The main building is currently under repair, but there is a multitude of other buildings and arts pieces to see on the grounds. Its a true experience.

4 /5 Simon Robson: Fun place to visit if you follow folk art and of Howard Finster. The grounds have paths, bridges, a Meditation chapel, and several buildings with Finster works. If you are lucky plan to go during FindterFest in September when there are dozens of Folk artists with their works on display.

5 /5 Deanna Fike: My husband and I spent the weekend at the Howard Finster 2 bedroom Airbnb at Paradise Garden. I was supposed to leave a review by May 31, but unfortunately I ran over the cut off so Im leaving a review here instead. This was the absolute best Airbnb I have ever stayed in (and Im pretty sure my husband would agree as well.) The house was very comfortable and uniquely decorated, and I loved being able to play with all the cats. The entire weekend felt surreal and oftentimes very spiritual. Being able to walk out the back door at 5:30 am with my headphones on and a coffee in hand and tour the garden each morning alone at my leisure felt like a privilege. Walking through the garden each night with my husband and sharing all the cool things we would find was a very special experience for both of us. The garden was amazing and I think we probably spent 10 or 11 hours walking through everything and taking pictures of the things we didnt want to forget. I wish I could have met Howard. We have a lot in common and it fills my heart to think about the people who are putting the time and effort into preserving this special place for past and future visitors. I hope we get the chance to go back again one day. I imagine this place isnt for everyone, but I believe the people who are supposed to find their way to the garden always do.
