The area is beautiful and its always interesting to see the epitaphs from those who have based long ago vs. in the past 90 or so years. And the stained glass in some of the crypts when the sun hits them are beautiful. Definitely make sure to carry water if its hot out. And also make sure to check out the gift shop. It was a pleasant surprise and actually found quite a lot of gifts there. Theres road work going on right outside the main gate, where the GPS was trying to take us to park, but we found parking right on the street nearby.

5 /5 Theresa Milan: Great historical cemetery in the city of Atlanta. Beautiful scenery and they have events here. Because it’s cool to hang out with your friends in the cemetery. Plus I have family buried here.

Md Mahmud Hasan: Very nice park besides the georgia aquarium and Coca-Cola office. If anyone goes to altanla, should visit this vibrant park. No free parking. Also, I have some homeless or outsider who want to talk and want to help to take pictures with your mobile, I didnt feel good with those kids. They actually target girls or women. Be conscious of them.

Larry Ballard: Can’t really complain because the children had a great time and there were a couple of activities that kept the adults engaged as well. For the price I thought it would be bigger , and an all day thing , but despite the fact that we were done in a couple of hours , the kids had fun even though learning was involved . Great if you have little ones .

However, it has potential to be an ideal urban getaway, perhaps matching Atlanta’s Piedmont Park. Here are ideas to make Grant Park a more beautiful and inviting public space: - Remove tree brush and trim dead branches. - Sweep paved trails of dirt and duff. - Repair broken pavement and walls. - Plant more flowers and flowering shrubs throughout. - Enhance the grounds with fountains and sculptures. Although a restroom was not welcoming from the outside, it was clean inside. Grant Park is a beautiful asset for Atlanta’s residents and visitors to enjoy. But with modest investments in time and labor, it could become an idyllic public oasis.

Favorite part is hearing from the artist herself, tell her story!! We even created tiny doors for my neighbors when I visited the Tiny Door Shop a couple years ago, photo attached. Thank you for all that you do!!

Underground Atlanta - Atlanta

Kelly Putz: Attending a concert at Masquerade Heaven with my teen daughter and her friends. TICKET TIMES ARE NOT WHEN THE CONCERT STARTS!!! Thats when the doors open. We arrived at 4:30 for a 7:00 ticket time and walked around a DEAD downtown area until we decided to go back to the garage and sit in our car so wed have air conditioning. There are NO BATHROOMS on site, except inside the concert venue and nearby restaurants will not let you utilize theirs without buying something. The "shopping area" of Underground is all closed until after concerts are over. However, we felt completely safe walking around and concertgoers (Crane Wives concert) were all very friendly and courteous. Security staff is also friendly and courteous.

Millennium Gate Museum - History Art Museum Atlanta, Georgia | Classical Architecture - Atlanta

R Serge (IAHGVA): Little museum on the history of Atlanta and region and the key families that made the city. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. A bit overcrowded to my taste, some objects should be removed. Don’t miss the rooftop. No parking available directly at the museum and getting there was odd but traffic in this new part of town was not too heavy so could jaywalk without much danger.

RAJAGOPAL RAMAN: It doesn’t matter if you like to fly or you don’t like to fly, you need to visit this place to appreciate the aviation industry and the innovation they have created some of the large Boeing 747 were so huge that you couldn’t believe that you can stand next to them, the landing gear was inspiring me a lot Have fun. This is a short trip not more than two hours
